Martial Champion Chapter 4071

“What’s going on?”

Seeing the changes in the Purple Star Realm, Li Mengyue, standing beside Chu Feng, frowned.

The scene was akin to the apocalypse descending, enough to unsettle anyone.

“Third Miss, are you alright?”

Suddenly, an aged voice rang out.

Though the voice came from afar, as it sounded, a figure appeared before Chu Feng and Li Mengyue.

This person’s speed was astonishingly fast.

Upon seeing this individual, Chu Feng’s expression shifted.

Though the old man concealed his aura, Chu Feng could sense that his cultivation surpassed his own.

This was likely a powerhouse at the Fifth Rank Supreme Realm.

The old man’s address of “Third Miss” further revealed that Li Mengyue, this female elder, held an extraordinary status.

The newcomer was none other than Pang Youyang.

“Grandpa Pang, I’m fine,” Li Mengyue said.

“Good, good, as long as you’re fine,” Pang Youyang replied.

“Where is the Island Master of Starry Immortal Island?

He dared to harm you, Third Miss. I won’t let him off!” Pang Youyang declared.

“The Island Master of Starry Immortal Island?

He’s already dead,” Li Mengyue stated.

“Dead?”

Pang Youyang’s aged face changed, his eyes filled with disbelief.

“Truly?” he asked.

“Absolutely true. Would I deceive you, Grandpa Pang?” Li Mengyue replied earnestly.

Hearing this, Pang Youyang looked at Li Mengyue with a hint of joy.

He opened his mouth, seemingly about to praise her.

“But it wasn’t me who killed him. I don’t have that ability.

It was my brother Chu Feng who did it. He’s a man who has mastered the legendary Dragon Transformation Sense.

And it’s the Second Rank of Dragon Transformation, no less,” Li Mengyue said, turning her gaze to Chu Feng.

Learning that Li Mengyue hadn’t killed the Island Master, a flicker of disappointment crossed Pang Youyang’s eyes.

But hearing that Chu Feng had mastered the Dragon Transformation Sense, he turned his attention to him.

“Second Rank of Dragon Transformation?”

Pang Youyang began to scrutinize Chu Feng carefully.

Yet Chu Feng could sense something different in his gaze.

This powerhouse from Purple Star Hall harboured no hostility towards him, but there was a trace of wariness in his eyes.

Normally, wariness would be a good thing.

But this particular wariness made Chu Feng uneasy.

It felt more like a dangerous signal, akin to a ruthless ruler spotting an unstable element.

“I am Pang Youyang, Supreme Elder of Purple Star Hall. Pleased to meet you, young friend Chu Feng,” Pang Youyang said courteously after his inspection.

“Junior Chu Feng pays respects to Senior,” Chu Feng replied with a smile, returning the courtesy.

Though he sensed Pang Youyang might not be benevolent, he maintained etiquette until any conflict arose.

“What a hero born from youth. To think you possess such cultivation at such a young age.

You must be the most remarkable genius I’ve ever seen in my lifetime,” Pang Youyang praised lavishly.

“You’re too kind, Senior,” Chu Feng said with a smile.

“Grandpa Pang, Brother Chu Feng, enough with the pleasantries.

Look at what’s happening in the Purple Star Realm,” Li Mengyue interjected.

Her gaze was now fixed on the sky above.

The vast white clouds overhead had undergone a greater transformation.

Amid the clouds, a massive, indistinct face had formed.

Though its features were unclear, it exuded no terror, only a sense of divine sanctity.

“Lord Youyang!!!”

Suddenly, voices called out.

A large group approached—Miao Clan members.

Soon after, people from other factions arrived as well.

Even the Xuanming Family had come.

And they all arrived almost simultaneously.

In a short time, they gathered at this spot.

“Why are you all here?” Pang Youyang asked.

After all, they had been scattered across different areas before.

He couldn’t understand why they had suddenly converged here.

“It must be the Star Guiding Stones that drew them here,” Chu Feng said, opening his palm to reveal the Star Guiding Stones in his hand.

At that moment, Chu Feng held two Star Guiding Stones.

One was reclaimed from the Supreme Elder of Starry Immortal Island.

The other was taken from the Island Master himself.

But now, both stones had changed.

They glowed, as if guided, and their guide was the massive face in the white clouds above.

“Indeed, the Star Guiding Stones led us here.

But, young friend, why do you have two Star Guiding Stones?” the Miao Clan Patriarch asked, puzzled, looking at Chu Feng.

Others present also gazed at Chu Feng with complex expressions.

They could tell he was from the Chu Clan, but they didn’t know who he was specifically.

Yet they knew the Chu Clan’s Star Guiding Stone had been stolen by Starry Immortal Island, and the Chu Clan had left the Purple Star Realm.

So, seeing Chu Feng here was already perplexing.

And seeing two Star Guiding Stones in his possession only deepened their confusion.

“One of his Star Guiding Stones belongs to the Chu Clan, the other to Starry Immortal Island,” Li Mengyue explained.

At these words, the faces of the various factions showed varied reactions.

Some were shocked, others unwilling, and some bore suppressed anger.

In their view, it was impossible for someone from the Chu Clan to reclaim a Star Guiding Stone from Starry Immortal Island.

Since this young Chu Clan member now held two stones and was so close to Purple Star Hall, there was only one explanation.

Purple Star Hall had helped him retrieve the stone.

“I mean no offence, Junior.

But didn’t Purple Star Hall agree not to interfere in the affairs of the Purple Star Realm?

Why would Purple Star Hall assist the Chu Clan?

Isn’t that unfair?” a displeased voice suddenly rang out.

It was Xuan Yihang, the young master of the Xuanming Family.

Unlike others, he knew who Chu Feng was.

Already harbouring resentment towards Chu Feng, he was even more upset seeing him aided by Purple Star Hall.

In his extreme displeasure, he lost his composure.

He publicly questioned Purple Star Hall’s actions.

“Yihang, don’t be rude!” a stern shout followed, from Xuan Tianpeng, the head of the Xuanming Family.

Xuan Tianpeng glared at Xuan Yihang, looking as if he wanted to harshly discipline him.

His anger stemmed from Xuan Yihang’s impudence in speaking out of turn before Pang Youyang and Li Mengyue.

“Lord Youyang, Third Miss, my son lacks discipline. Please forgive him,” Xuan Tianpeng quickly said, bowing to Pang Youyang and Li Mengyue in apology.

But soon, he stood upright and added, “However, though my son’s words were offensive, they aren’t without reason.

If Purple Star Hall truly helped the Chu Clan, it would indeed be unfair to the rest of us.”

At this, everyone understood. The father and son were playing a coordinated act, subtly criticizing Purple Star Hall.

Yet no one blamed them.

Their words echoed what the other factions wanted to say.

If Purple Star Hall had indeed aided the Chu Clan, there was no point in staying or competing. They might as well leave.

After all, this was Purple Star Hall’s territory. If they chose to favour one faction, who could stand against them?
