Martial Champion Chapter 4087

“Damn it.”

Sensing danger, the Purple Star Hall Master grabbed Li Mengyue and darted toward the hall’s door, intent on escaping.

A scream rang out, followed by a loud crash from the door’s direction.

The powerful impact shook the entire hall.

The Purple Star Hall Master had slammed into the door, but it remained intact.

Despite his strength, he couldn’t break through.

An unseen force had sealed the entire hall.

Not just the door, even the walls were impregnable.

The Purple Star Hall Master and Li Mengyue were trapped.

Despair washed over them.

Though they hadn’t fought, they already knew this little girl was beyond their ability to defeat.

“Run. I’ll give you the time it takes for an incense stick to burn. If you escape, I’ll spare you,” the little girl’s voice echoed.

Looking at her, they saw she had sat down, casually eating pastries from the hall.

Her demeanor showed complete disregard for them.

Yet it also revealed her confidence, certain that they couldn’t escape.

“My Purple Star Hall has revered you, treated you like a deity. Why do you do this to us?” the Hall Master asked, his voice trembling with a hint of a sob.

His face was etched with grievance.

He truly felt wronged. He never imagined that the cultivation treasure his hall had awaited for generations was such a dangerous entity.

Its arrival brought not blessings but the calamity of annihilation.

“Treat me like a deity?” The little girl put down her food, fixing her gaze on him.

“You only wanted my power. If refining me was the way to gain it, you wouldn’t hesitate. So, I’m merely returning the favor,” she said.

As she spoke, light shimmered around her.

Crackling sounds followed as bolts of lightning shot out like swords.

They merged in midair, forming a giant lightning hand that reached for the Hall Master and Li Mengyue.

“You monster, I’ll fight you to the death,” the Hall Master roared, drawing his weapon, ready to fight to the end.

But before the lightning hand, he was powerless.

In an instant, the lightning enveloped them.

Though their mouths were open, as if screaming in agony, no sound escaped under the lightning’s cover.

Finally, the lightning returned to the girl’s body.

The Purple Star Hall Master and Li Mengyue lay on the ground, two ghastly corpses.

In moments, the girl had single-handedly wiped out everyone in and around Purple Star Hall.

Yet, after such a cruel act, her face showed no emotion.

She closed her eyes, her body glowing with an odd light.

A power was merging into her.

It was bloodline power, the bloodline power of the Hall Master and Li Mengyue.

This was why she killed everyone in Purple Star Hall.

She needed their bloodline power.

Soon, she opened her eyes and lifted her sleeve, revealing her right arm.

Strange patterns crisscrossed her arm, extending inward, as if linked to her body.

At the center of the patterns was a crucial spot, like the eye of a formation.

But it was empty.

“I never expected that kid Chu Feng to be so formidable. I failed to seize his bloodline, and instead, I nearly got refined by him. Though I escaped his body, I lost my life soul. But thanks to him enduring that lightning tribulation and breaking the sealing formation, I regained my freedom,” she muttered viciously. “Kid, just wait. Our business isn’t over. I’ll repay you properly.”

Suddenly, her expression changed, as if startled, and she looked toward the door.

“Who’s there?” she shouted, her face tense.

As she spoke, a figure appeared at the door.

The person wore a grey robe with a hood, concealing their face except for a pair of deep, seasoned eyes.

“Such a vicious creature, slaughtering right after breaking free. No wonder you were sealed,” the grey-robed figure said, their voice revealing an elderly woman.

Before she finished, dazzling lightning surged toward her.

The girl had attacked, sensing the figure’s hostile intent.

She was ruthless even to the innocent, let alone an enemy.

The lightning was fierce, capable of obliterating its target.

Yet, it stopped before the grey-robed woman, blocked by an invisible barrier.

At that moment, the woman produced a gourd covered in glowing talismans, its strange power enveloping the hall.

“Damn it,” the girl cursed, turning to flee.

But though she leaped, she couldn’t move forward.

A powerful suction force enveloped her, emanating from the gourd.

“Why capture me? We have no grudge,” the girl screamed.

The grey-robed woman ignored her, gripping the gourd tightly.

The suction pulled the girl closer.

Despite her struggles, she couldn’t resist and was sucked into the gourd amid her furious roars.

Once inside, the gourd shook violently, as if it might shatter.

“What a vicious creature,” the woman said calmly, chuckling.

She took out a talisman, sealed the gourd, and it stilled.

Then, she opened the hall’s door and flew off.

She didn’t glance at the corpses littering Purple Star Hall.

Instead, she looked southeast, her gaze thoughtful.

After a moment, her figure flickered and vanished.

No one knew where this powerful grey-robed woman went.

But the direction she looked was where Chu Feng and Long Daozhi had gone.
