With a single palm strike, Fu Mo Shaoyu unleashed a powerful blow that slammed into Zuoqiu Tiansheng’s shoulder.
Crack!
The strike not only shattered Zuoqiu Tiansheng’s shoulder but also sent him plummeting from the sky to the cliff below.
“Damn it, I’ll tear you to pieces!” Zuoqiu Tiansheng roared, undeterred. Instead of retreating, he soared back up, charging at Fu Mo Shaoyu.
His aura had changed; he was no longer a Second Rank Supreme but had reached the Third Rank Supreme.
A thunder pattern had appeared on his forehead—a Divine Mark.
As rumoured, Zuoqiu Tiansheng had indeed cultivated the Divine Punishment Mysterious Technique.
However, Chu Feng noticed that while Zuoqiu Tiansheng’s thunder pattern was indeed a Divine Mark, it differed from his own.
The lightning in Zuoqiu Tiansheng’s mark surged less fiercely, and its bloodline power seemed slightly lacking.
“Hahaha, what a pathetic Zuoqiu Heavenly Clan! They don’t even have a complete Divine Punishment Mysterious Technique, yet they’re called a mighty force?” Fu Mo Shaoyu laughed mockingly.
His words enlightened Chu Feng.
No wonder Zuoqiu Tiansheng’s thunder pattern differed from his own. Fu Mo Shaoyu was likely correct: Zuoqiu Tiansheng’s Divine Punishment Mysterious Technique was incomplete.
Even so, Chu Feng had to admit Zuoqiu Tiansheng had some skill.
In the Supreme Realm, all bloodline powers were sealed.
In the Venerable Realm, cultivators could boost their cultivation through bloodline power or treasures, and many geniuses could raise their cultivation by three ranks using bloodlines, special techniques, and treasures.
But in the Supreme Realm, treasures lost effect, and bloodline powers were sealed.
Those who could unseal their bloodline power in the Supreme Realm were exceptional.
Yet, the Supreme Realm’s sealing force was immense. Even if bloodline power could be unsealed to boost cultivation, combat strength remained restricted.
Take Gu Mingyuan, for example. Once a genius rivalling Chu Feng’s father, her talent was notable in the Holy Light Galaxy, and in the Ancestral Martial Starfield, she was a prodigy.
She could unseal her bloodline power in the Supreme Realm to boost cultivation, but her combat strength was greatly diminished.
Zuoqiu Tiansheng was different.
Not only had his cultivation risen, but his combat strength was formidable.
Despite both being Third Rank Supremes, Fu Mo Shaoyu struggled against him.
Though struggling, Fu Mo Shaoyu wasn’t losing, so Chu Feng didn’t intervene immediately. Instead, he descended to free Fu Mo Xin’er from her chair.
“Chu Feng, how did you and my brother find me?” Fu Mo Xin’er asked, her earlier anger replaced by a beaming smile, radiating charm.
“Your brother has your tracking talisman,” Chu Feng replied.
“Not that! I was swept into that vortex. How did you find me? Were you caught in it too?” she pressed.
“You were too impulsive, taking off that armour,” Chu Feng said. “To ensure your safety, your brother and I removed ours too, getting pulled into the temporal vortex. Due to timing differences, we landed in different places. Luckily, we ended up in the same world, and your brother had the talisman, or we might not have found you. But you’re safe now. That guy didn’t harm you, did he?”
“No, he’s got more desire than courage. He wouldn’t dare,” Fu Mo Xin’er said. “If he had, I’d have made him regret it without your help.”
“Big talk for someone captured,” Chu Feng teased.
“You don’t know how strong I am,” she retorted, pouting defiantly.
“Stop chatting, Chu Feng, help me deal with this beast!” Fu Mo Shaoyu called from above.
“Come, both of you!” Zuoqiu Tiansheng roared. “Dare to steal my lady? Neither of you will live!”
His fury intensified, likely realizing Chu Feng and Fu Mo Shaoyu’s purpose.
He genuinely liked Fu Mo Xin’er and wouldn’t let them take her.
Chu Feng merely smiled at the threat, pointing a finger skyward.
Buzz!
Golden light flared as boundless barrier power surged from his finger, forming a rope like a dragon bursting from the sea, aimed at Zuoqiu Tiansheng.
“What’s this?” Zuoqiu Tiansheng sensed danger and tried to dodge.
But Chu Feng’s spirit techniques could overwhelm even ordinary Fourth Rank Supremes, let alone Zuoqiu Tiansheng, now only a Third Rank Supreme.
The barrier rope swiftly bound him tightly.
“Little beast, still so arrogant?” Fu Mo Shaoyu taunted, seizing Zuoqiu Tiansheng and delivering several slaps.
The blows left Zuoqiu Tiansheng bruised and swollen, his handsome face contorted.
But Fu Mo Shaoyu didn’t go too far, tossing him onto the peak after a few slaps.
Instead of comforting his sister, he looked toward the palace depths.
“Brother Chu Feng, see that?” he said, pointing deep into the palace complex.
There stood a stone disc, resembling a seat yet not quite.
Covered in mysterious runes and exuding an ancient aura, it was clearly extraordinary.
