Martial Champion Chapter 4258

“You actually brought someone to confront me,” the black dragon said. “It seems I didn’t underestimate you. How could someone with a Heaven-Swallowing Qilin be ordinary? But for me to see the light of day again, I truly need you, little brat. Today, even the King of Heaven won’t stop me. Your body is mine!!!”

Suddenly, the black dragon opened its massive jaws, unleashing a ferocious aura that swept across everything.

The surroundings began to collapse and shatter, the space descending into chaos.

But almost the moment the dragon’s aura erupted, a barrier appeared in front of Chu Feng.

The terrifying aura, capable of destroying everything, was completely blocked by the invisible barrier.

Though the aura was stopped, Chu Feng’s scalp tingled with fear as he watched what looked like countless giant scythes slashing before him.

It was a power far beyond his realm.

Though Chu Feng realised the aura wasn’t aimed at him but at Ruyi Castle behind him, he could feel that even a single blade of that wind could reduce him to ashes.

“Petty tricks. Can you block my power?” the black dragon roared again.

Crack—

Crack—

The invisible barrier began to show cracks, on the verge of breaking.

Suddenly, Chu Feng felt his body enveloped by a pulling force, and he was yanked backward.

When he came to, he was standing inside Ruyi Castle.

Old Man Ruyi stood within, his body radiating light.

It seemed like a formation, but not an ordinary one. Clearly, he was using it to unleash Ruyi Castle’s power.

“Little friend Chu Feng, rest assured. I’ll make this flood dragon cure your poison,” Old Man Ruyi said, gazing outside without looking at Chu Feng, his tone brimming with confidence.

“Flood dragon? It’s not a true dragon?” Chu Feng wondered but didn’t ask, not wanting to disturb Old Man Ruyi, who was facing such a terrifying opponent.

Boom—

Boom—

Boom—

Outside, deafening roars echoed, ripples raging, as the depths descended into chaos.

At this level of battle, Chu Feng could no longer see the situation clearly, only sensing the overwhelming might.

But he knew the true battle had just begun, and the intensity was escalating.

The fight continued for a full hour without ending.

The two seemed evenly matched, with no clear victor.

Suddenly, the black dragon’s roars changed.

The ripples outside grew even more ferocious.

Old Man Ruyi launched a fierce assault on the dragon, but it didn’t fight back.

Yet, Old Man Ruyi’s attacks couldn’t harm it.

Chu Feng saw a strange barrier around the dragon, blocking Old Man Ruyi’s onslaught.

What unsettled Chu Feng most was the dragon’s transformation.

As it roared and writhed, its soul-like body began to solidify.

But as it took on a complete physical form, it looked less like a dragon.

A flood dragon—Old Man Ruyi was right. It was indeed a flood dragon.

But Chu Feng had never seen such a terrifying one.

As the black dragon fully transformed into a flood dragon, its aura became even more formidable.

“I never expected you’d push me to this point. But it’s time to end this,” the flood dragon declared, opening its giant jaws.

Instantly, a powerful wind surged from its mouth.

The wind was so strong it shattered Ruyi Castle’s protective barrier in an instant, enveloping the entire castle.

Inside, Chu Feng felt Ruyi Castle trembling violently.

Piercing noises echoed within.

It felt as if the castle could collapse at any moment.

Chu Feng turned to Old Man Ruyi, wanting to urge him to leave and not get involved, not wanting to drag him into this.

But when he looked, the words caught in his throat.

Unlike Chu Feng’s panic, Old Man Ruyi remained calm, his face still radiating confidence.

He formed a peculiar hand seal with one hand, pointing at the Ruyi Mirror inside the castle.

Buzz—

The mirror vanished.

Buzz—

Then, a blinding light pierced the darkness outside, like the sun descending.

The light illuminated everything.

Aowoo—

Simultaneously, the flood dragon’s agonised scream rang out.

Looking toward the sound, Chu Feng saw a massive mirror above Ruyi Castle, as large as the castle itself.

It was the Ruyi Mirror.

The blinding light came from it, aimed at the flood dragon.

Though the flood dragon’s power had surged in its new form, it writhed in pain under the sacred white light, struggling to escape.

It was terrifying. Chu Feng could feel the dragon’s power; its struggles unleashed devastating force.

The outside had turned into a hellscape due to its thrashing.

Fortunately, Chu Feng was inside Ruyi Castle, or the dragon’s mere struggles would have reduced him to ashes.

Not just Chu Feng—even ordinary Martial Venerables would likely not survive.

The force of its struggles could wipe out countless experts.

Yet, despite its power, the flood dragon couldn’t break free from the Ruyi Mirror’s light.

Soon, its body changed again, reverting from flood dragon to black dragon, its physical form shrinking rapidly.

“Stop, don’t kill me, don’t kill me! I’ll cure the boy’s poison and return the Heaven-Swallowing Qilin to him!!!” the mighty black dragon began to beg.

At this, Old Man Ruyi finally stopped.

But as he did, Chu Feng heard him panting heavily.

Looking again, Old Man Ruyi’s face was pale, etched with exhaustion.

Though he had subdued the dragon, it had clearly cost him greatly.

Yet, he had won.

“I never imagined Senior Ruyi would be this powerful,” Chu Feng thought, shocked.

When Old Man Ruyi opened the world-piercing barrier gate, Chu Feng knew he was extraordinary.

But he hadn’t expected him to be this terrifying.
