Martial Champion Chapter 4260

“As for the Nine Dragons Qi you mentioned, I can neither sense nor see it,” Old Man Ruyi said gravely to Chu Feng. “But this place is indeed extraordinary. I don’t know why the Nine Dragons Saint exists here. However, if that flood dragon is already so formidable, if there are other beings here, they would surely be beyond my ability to handle. The martial world is unfathomably deep. Some hidden masters in the depths or ruins are often more terrifying than the great powers ruling the surface. So, little friend Chu Feng, don’t come back here in the future.”

“Thank you for the warning, Senior. I understand,” Chu Feng said gratefully.

He was deeply thankful. If Old Man Ruyi hadn’t come along today, the black dragon would have possessed his body.

Chu Feng had only helped Old Man Ruyi with a small favour, but Old Man Ruyi had become his lifesaver.

“No need to thank me. If anyone should be grateful, it’s me thanking you. If you hadn’t helped me unlock that seal, I don’t know how much longer I’d have waited. Now, I can finally leave this place and see the places I’ve longed to visit,” Old Man Ruyi said, a rare smile breaking across his usually stern face, a genuine expression of joy.

To Chu Feng, his help seemed trivial, but to Old Man Ruyi, it was akin to a life-saving grace.

Knowing that someone like Old Man Ruyi was bound to leave, Chu Feng didn’t ask why but instead inquired, “Senior, where are you going?”

“The vast martial world is so grand, I want to see it all. I don’t yet know where I’ll settle, but my first stop will be the Nine Souls Galaxy, the neighbour of the Holy Light Galaxy. With your talent, little friend Chu Feng, the Holy Light Galaxy surely can’t contain you. Though the martial world is boundless, if fate allows, we may meet again,” Old Man Ruyi said.

His words implied that this parting might be their last.

Chu Feng felt a pang of emotion. Though their time together was short, he had a strong impression of Old Man Ruyi.

After a brief chat, they parted ways.

Before leaving, Old Man Ruyi sent Chu Feng back through the teleportation gate.

Instead of returning the same way, he left directly aboard Ruyi Castle.

“I never expected Old Man Ruyi to be so powerful, able to handle such a monster,” Fumo Shaoyu said, standing in the void outside the Nine Dragons Anomaly Ridge with his companions, watching the direction Old Man Ruyi had gone, filled with awe.

Only now did he realise he had still underestimated the hidden masters of the Holy Light Galaxy.

“Young Master, there seem to be treasures hidden in the Nine Dragons Anomaly Ridge. Should I go explore?” Lord Gusu asked.

“That monster was already formidable. Even together, we could only barely defeat it. If there are other masters hidden in these depths, we’d be no match. Though I’m curious about what’s hidden here, let’s leave it be. After all, this isn’t our territory,” Fumo Shaoyu replied.

“Young Master is the heir to the Immortal Sea Fish Clan. Who would dare harm you?” Fumo Xin’er said.

Their true identities were from the Immortal Sea Fish Clan: Shaoyu was Xianhai Shaoyu, Xin’er was Xianhai Xin’er, and Lord Gusu was Xianhai Gusu.

Xin’er’s confidence stemmed from the clan’s immense power, a dominant force in their galaxy and renowned across the vast martial world. Neither the Holy Light Clan nor even the rulers of the Nine Souls Galaxy could compare.

“Xin’er, true villains don’t care about your status. In the martial world, we rely on our own strength, not our family’s name,” Xianhai Shaoyu said.

“I know I was wrong,” Xianhai Xin’er replied.

“You silly girl, there’s no wrong here,” Xianhai Shaoyu said with a helpless smile, seeing her caution.

“Young Master, should we go find Chu Feng?” Lord Gusu asked, looking at the closing barrier gate.

“There’s no point staying here. Let’s go back,” Xianhai Shaoyu said, and the three flew into the gate.

Meanwhile, Chu Feng had already returned through the gate to the Ancient Spirit Domain, where Old Taoist Niubi, Master Tangchen, and other spiritists awaited.

Upon seeing Chu Feng, Master Tangchen and the others immediately asked about Old Man Ruyi.

Before parting, Chu Feng had asked Old Man Ruyi if he could share details about him, knowing others would inquire.

Old Man Ruyi had said there was no need to hide anything.

So, Chu Feng openly shared that Old Man Ruyi had left, though he didn’t know the extent of his strength and thus didn’t elaborate.

But the massive barrier gate alone allowed the others to deduce that Old Man Ruyi was an extraordinarily powerful figure.

Only Chu Feng knew the gate didn’t fully reflect Old Man Ruyi’s might. If they had seen his battle with the black dragon, they’d truly grasp his power.

Chu Feng didn’t mention the black dragon publicly, only sharing it privately with Master Tangchen and Old Taoist Niubi.

With the matter concluded, Chu Feng and the others set off for the Reincarnation Upper Realm to uncover what had happened to Ya Fei, Yan Ruyu, and Murong Wan.

Along the way, Chu Feng finally asked the question he most wanted answered.

“Master, do you know how to enter the Wolong Martial Sect?” he asked Old Taoist Niubi.

The Wolong Martial Sect was where Ziling was in distress, and Chu Feng’s urgency to see Old Taoist Niubi was to learn how to enter it.

Though he needed to resolve the situation with Ya Fei and the others, his true priority was rescuing Ziling.

“Little brat, you already have me as your master, and you still want to join the Wolong Martial Sect?” Old Taoist Niubi frowned, his large mouth curling in displeasure.

“No, Master, it’s for another reason,” Chu Feng said.

“What reason?” Old Taoist Niubi asked.

Chu Feng glanced at Yu Ting, who nodded in approval. He then recounted the full story to Old Taoist Niubi.

“Appearances can be deceiving. You’re such a rascal, yet you have such an outstanding girl so devoted to you. Not bad, kid,” Old Taoist Niubi laughed heartily upon hearing the tale.

“Master, Ziling is extremely important to me. I can’t let her die. Please tell me, is there a way to enter the Wolong Martial Sect?” Chu Feng asked earnestly.

Seeing Chu Feng’s seriousness, Old Taoist Niubi laughed again and said one word:

“Yes.”
