Master Of The Blade Chapter 1954

Hearing Little Soul’s words, Ye Xuan’s face darkened with exasperation!

What was going on?

Little Soul had definitely been corrupted by Little Tower! Always wanting to show off at the drop of a hat!

Ye Xuan didn’t stop her. He opened his palm, and the Qingxuan Sword shot out.

Of course he wouldn’t intervene—Qingxuan was forged by Qing’er. Forget this so-called Heaven-Seizing Sword—even if their father’s sword spirit showed up, she wouldn’t flinch.

This was a flex worth making!

Under everyone’s gaze, Qingxuan soared skyward, slashing straight at the Heaven-Seizing Sword.

Above, Fan Jian didn’t restrain her blade either. She knew its pride—when challenged by a defiant sword, Heaven-Seizing would destroy it!

She chose not to interfere.

This was a duel between swords!

Before all eyes, the two blades clashed in the most brutal way possible!

Tip against tip!

A head-on collision!

*Boom!*

A burst of sword light erupted across the sky, tearing the heavens apart. In the next moment, under everyone’s stunned stares, the Heaven-Seizing Sword shattered inch by inch.

Qingxuan, meanwhile, emerged unscathed—not even a scratch!

The crowd was dumbfounded!

The Burial Domain’s mightiest sword—broken just like that?

Then, Qingxuan trembled fiercely. A sword cry, like rolling thunder, reverberated through the field. Instantly, every sword in the Burial Domain quaked—not in submission, but in abject terror!

All eyes locked onto Qingxuan!

Fan Jian stared at it, silent. She opened her palm, and the fragments of Heaven-Seizing flew back to her, trembling in her grasp.

Fan Jian said nothing.

She’d never seen Heaven-Seizing so afraid—and of another sword, no less!

Her gaze shifted to Qingxuan, curiosity flickering in her eyes.

Wu Lingmu’s eyes mirrored that curiosity.

He knew Heaven-Seizing’s power well, yet this sword had shattered it—that was beyond terrifying!

Mu Mo, however, fixed his gaze on Ye Xuan, his expression calm but his killing intent unmasked.

Ye Xuan opened his palm, and Qingxuan returned to him. He looked at Fan Jian with a slight smile.

Fan Jian met his gaze. “Who forged this sword?”

Ye Xuan grinned. “My little sister!”

Fan Jian nodded slightly. “Your sister is formidable!”

Ye Xuan laughed. “She’s alright—just a tiny bit stronger than me!”

Mu Mo suddenly sneered, “Ye Xuan, without your sister forging that sword, you’d be nothing! No sister, no you—got it?”

Ye Xuan chuckled. “To be honest, even without my sister, I’ve got a dad. He’s not the most reliable, but he’s helped me out plenty!”

Mu Mo glared. “Without your sister or father, what are you? You—”

Ye Xuan cut in, “Oh, and I’ve got a big brother too…”

The crowd: “…”

“Shut up!”

Mu Mo roared, “Ye Xuan, don’t you feel any shame? Relying on others for everything—doesn’t that humiliate you?”

Ye Xuan sighed softly. “Truth is, I’m a bit tormented. Born into a family where my dad, sister, and brother were already invincible—I’ve always wanted to struggle, to carve my own path with my own strength! But my power just doesn’t cut it! The toughest foes? My sister ends them with one swing! Do you know how much that hurts?”

The crowd: “…”

Mu Mo’s face twisted with rage. “You—”

Ye Xuan pressed on, “Take you, Senior Mu Mo. You’ve cultivated for what—millions of years? Millions of years for your achievements. Me? Less than a century, and I can go toe-to-toe with you. Like you said, without this sword, I’d be no match for you—but I *have* it!”

He spread his hands helplessly. “What you fought for, I was born with… The gap between people is just too big. I feel bad for you…”

“Ahh!”

Mu Mo jabbed a trembling finger at Ye Xuan. “You little brat—being a second-gen makes you feel superior, huh?”

Ye Xuan pondered, then said, “You strive through cultivation and grit. I strive through my sister and dad. In a way, we’re both striving—just differently! With three thousand paths in this world, why can’t there be a Path of Sister-Striving? A Path of Dad-Striving?”

The crowd: “…”

Everyone stared at Ye Xuan, their expressions beyond bizarre!

Damn it!

This was the first time someone made being a second-gen sound so noble—what a shameless bastard!

Fan Jian glanced at Ye Xuan, a rare hint of something indescribable flickering in her stoic eyes.

Wu Lingmu shook his head. This guy… what a character.

Mu Mo, meanwhile, was so furious he nearly keeled over!

He wanted to strike, but the Snow Mountain King had ordered him not to touch Ye Xuan!

He didn’t dare defy that command!

Ye Xuan spoke again, “Alright, no more secrets! I’ve got people behind me. How strong? Look at this sword—you can guess! I’m not saying this to brag. If you want to come at me, go ahead. I’ll fight tooth and nail first. If I can’t win, I’ll call for help. That’s my playbook! To sum it up…”

He scanned the crowd. “I’ve got no shame—do what you will!”

The crowd: “…”

Fan Jian couldn’t help but glance at him again. After a pause, she said, “A person should still rely on themselves!”

Ye Xuan smiled. “Miss Fan Jian, a question: how long have you cultivated?”

Fan Jian met his gaze. “Eleven million years!”

Ye Xuan nodded. “I’ve cultivated less than a million. Tell me—how do I catch up to you in that time?”

Fan Jian fell silent.

Ye Xuan turned to Mu Mo, who’d been glaring at him. “Old man, stop staring. At my age, were you as impressive as me?”

Mu Mo sneered, “I didn’t have your legion of backers!”

Ye Xuan grinned. “How about this? Drop your realm to Divine Body, no twelve-layer spacetime tricks. I’ll ditch this sword and all external aids. We fight fair—one-on-one. Deal?”

A fair fight!

Mu Mo’s eyes narrowed. “You serious?”

Ye Xuan nodded. “Dead serious!”

Mu Mo opened his mouth, but Wu Lingmu cut in, “Mu Mo, what do you think of this kid?”

Mu Mo turned to him. “What do you mean?”

Wu Lingmu sighed softly. “He seems flashy and reckless, but he’s sharp as a tack. If he’s bold enough to say this, he’s got a plan. If he’s not sure, he wouldn’t challenge you publicly! You win? Everyone expects that. You lose? Even if you survive, can you handle the humiliation? It’d plant a heart demon, crippling your future cultivation! But if he loses, with that thick skin, he’ll shrug it off—no demon, no fuss. You can’t do that!”

Mu Mo’s eyes flashed with killing intent, but before he could speak, Wu Lingmu added, “You can’t kill him!”

Mu Mo snapped, “Why not?”

Wu Lingmu chuckled. “See that sword? Like he said, he’s got backing. Every time I think of harming him, I feel uneasy!”

Uneasy!

Mu Mo’s face soured.

Wu Lingmu was stronger than him, and if *he* felt that, Ye Xuan’s backers were real!

Wu Lingmu continued, “The Snow Mountain King told you to leave him alone… You know his temper—most people aren’t worth a glance. He specifically warned you—think that’s simple?”

Mu Mo growled, “Don’t you think this punk needs a lesson?”

Wu Lingmu smiled. “Our priority is the Evil Clan!”

The Evil Clan!

Mu Mo’s expression slowly calmed.

Below, Ye Xuan suddenly laughed. “Mu Mo, we fighting or not?”

Mu Mo glanced at him. “I’ll spare you for now!”

Ye Xuan grinned. “No fight, then!”

He shot Wu Lingmu a look, then stepped aside.

The crowd’s attention shifted back to Gu Chou in the distance. Everyone felt a touch of absurdity—Gu Chou and the Evil Clan were the real stars today!

Ye Xuan had nearly derailed the whole show!

In the distance, Gu Chou emerged from the spacetime abyss. He looked at Fan Jian and smiled. “Never thought you’d hide so deep—a sword cultivator!”

Back when Fan Jian fought the Evil Clan, she’d never revealed her swordsmanship!

Fan Jian met his gaze. “You’re far stronger than the Evil Clan’s past champions!”

She stepped toward him. “You want to change the Evil Clan’s fate—I get it. But I’ll tell you this: you can’t!”

Her palm opened, and an ethereal sword materialized.

Below, Gu Chou laughed heartily. “Miss Fan Jian, I’ll tell you this: today, I, Gu Chou, *will* change the Evil Clan’s fate! Not just that—I’ll make you all pay in blood!”

With that, he vanished. Instantly, the surrounding spacetime blurred and disintegrated!

Countless dimensions buckled under Gu Chou’s power—even the twelve-layer spacetime began to erode!

Fan Jian’s eyes narrowed. She stepped forward, pointing two fingers. Countless ethereal swords appeared behind her. In a flash, they slashed outward, tearing through spacetime with a chorus of ripping sounds.

The heavens trembled!
