Master Of The Blade Chapter 1967

Ye Xuan couldn’t help but feel a jolt of surprise!

They were actively seeking Qing’er?

To think they’d make such a request!

It was beyond unexpected!

Elder Gu spoke again, “We’d like to meet the one behind you. Is that possible?”

Ye Xuan’s voice turned heavy. “What do you want with her?”

Elder Gu laughed heartily. “What do we want? What, are you afraid we’ll harm her? Relax—we have no intention of doing anything to the one behind you. We just want to talk, that’s all!”

Ye Xuan didn’t respond, but a flicker of tension crossed his face—brief, yet caught by Elder Gu and the others.

He’s rattled!

A slight smirk tugged at Elder Gu’s lips. “Ye Xuan, rest easy. I’ll swear it again: we won’t harm the one behind you. Of course, that’s assuming you cooperate!”

Ye Xuan glanced back at Spirit Mountain.

Elder Gu cut in sharply, “Run back to Spirit Mountain? Ye Xuan, think about it—would Spirit Mountain really go to war with the Law Enforcement Sect over you? And even if you escape now, can you dodge us forever?”

Ye Xuan turned to Elder Gu. “If I hand over this sword, will you truly let me go?”

Elder Gu met his gaze. “Yes!”

Ye Xuan pressed, “Swear it!”

Elder Gu considered, then said, “I swear! If you hand over the sword, the Law Enforcement Sect will leave you alone. If I break this oath, may my soul be obliterated!”

Hearing this, Ye Xuan’s expression eased. After a moment’s hesitation, he opened his palm, and the Qingxuan Sword floated slowly toward Elder Gu.

A glint of excitement flashed in Elder Gu’s eyes. He seized the sword, closing his eyes as the surrounding space-time silently dissolved!

Clearly, Ye Xuan had granted him permission to wield it!

Moments later, Elder Gu exclaimed, “A divine sword! Truly a divine sword!”

Ye Xuan suddenly asked, “Can I go now?”

Elder Gu looked at him. “Go? Where to?”

Ye Xuan stared daggers at him. “You said if I gave you the sword, the Law Enforcement Sect wouldn’t come after me!”

Elder Gu chuckled. “Who said we’re coming after you? We just want to invite you to visit the Law Enforcement Sect as a guest!”

Ye Xuan’s face twisted with fury. “You’re going back on your word!”

Elder Gu laughed louder. “Ye Xuan, you’re killing me! I thought you were some prodigy—turns out you’re this naive! Poor Gu Yi died too pitifully!”

Ye Xuan’s fists clenched, his rage like a bull ready to charge. “The one behind me won’t let you off!”

Elder Gu glanced at the Qingxuan Sword in his hand, smiling faintly. “You mean that woman?”

Ye Xuan nodded.

Elder Gu grinned. “Alright, let’s see what kind of deity this plain-dressed woman of yours is!”

With that, he gripped the sword tightly and began to sense her!

Ye Xuan glared at him. “She’ll kill you!”

Elder Gu sneered. “Kill me? Ridiculous! Do you even know my realm? I’m No-Thought Realm, I—”

*Shink!*

A sword light slashed down from the heavens!

*Boom!*

Elder Gu’s voice cut off.

His expression froze.

The elders behind him gaped in shock, petrified.

Atop Spirit Mountain, Elder Xuan snapped his head up toward the starry depths, but he saw nothing! Slowly, his face grew grave.

Ye Xuan strolled over to Elder Gu, leaning in. “What was that you said? No-Thought Realm? Damn, is No-Thought Realm *this* weak? Couldn’t even take one hit?”

Elder Gu: “…”

Ye Xuan blinked. “This No-Thought Realm of yours—it’s not a knockoff, is it?”

He casually plucked the storage ring off Elder Gu’s finger, then added, “Elder Gu Yi—died unjustly, huh?”

Elder Gu glared at Ye Xuan, about to speak, when Ye Xuan gripped the Qingxuan Sword and slashed horizontally.

*Shink!*

Elder Gu’s soul was instantly absorbed by the Qingxuan Sword.

In the distance, the remaining Law Enforcement Sect elders turned to flee. Ye Xuan’s mind stirred.

*Shink! Shink!*

The Qingxuan Sword flashed through the air, and two heads rolled slowly to the ground.

Clean and swift!

Ye Xuan collected their storage rings, then turned and ascended Spirit Mountain.

Elder Xuan looked at him. “You’ve gotten stronger again!”

Ye Xuan grinned. “Give me ten years, and I’ll have no equal in this realm!”

Elder Xuan: “…”

Ye Xuan stepped into a straw hut and glanced at the three storage rings in his hand. Inside were three divine veins.

He’d learned recently that in this Boundary Realm, the main currency was divine crystals—vital for No-Heart Realm cultivators and beyond. Holy veins were useless to them, which explained why the powers here didn’t bother plundering the lower worlds!

The rings also held nearly ten thousand divine crystals!

Ye Xuan stashed them away, then stepped outside. He glanced down the mountain—no Law Enforcement Sect in sight!

Elder Xuan suddenly asked, “Leaving?”

Ye Xuan nodded. “Yeah!”

Elder Xuan studied him. “Got a destination in mind?”

Ye Xuan shook his head.

It was his first time in this Boundary Realm—he was still a stranger here.

Elder Xuan said, “Want me to recommend a place?”

Ye Xuan shook his head. “No need!”

With that, he stood, pulled out a storage ring, and set it before Elder Xuan. “Elder Xuan, there’s fifty thousand divine crystals in there. Thanks for Spirit Mountain’s protection these days—I won’t forget it!”

He turned and headed down the mountain!

Killing several Law Enforcement Sect members had made it a blood feud! Staying here would only drag Spirit Mountain into it. They might not fear the sect, but that didn’t mean they’d fight for him!

Elder Xuan watched Ye Xuan descend, silent.

After leaving Spirit Mountain, Ye Xuan scanned his surroundings. In the next instant, he vanished.

Not long after, a woman appeared at the mountain’s base. She wore a straw skirt, her long hair cascading behind her, a bamboo umbrella in her right hand.

She ascended, and Elder Xuan hurriedly stood, bowing slightly. “Mountain Lord!”

She glanced toward the horizon. “A strong presence!”

Elder Xuan bowed again, recounting the earlier events.

She nodded after a pause. “Understood!”

She headed for the straw hut.

Elder Xuan hesitated, then said, “Mountain Lord, that boy’s sword—it’s extraordinary…”

Without turning, she replied, “None of our business!”

She entered the hut, and the door shut.

Outside, Elder Xuan gave a wry smile.

Then the door swung open, and she reappeared. “It can ignore space-time?”

Elder Xuan nodded.

She paused, then descended the mountain.

After leaving Spirit Mountain, Ye Xuan didn’t wander elsewhere—he headed straight for the Law Enforcement Sect!

He knew full well that once he left Spirit Mountain, they’d never let him go. Escape? Impossible—he was a stranger here with nowhere to run!

So, he chose to confront them head-on!

*You want to kill me? Here I am!*

No hesitation!

Ye Xuan rode his sword, soon arriving at the sect.

Nestled within a mountain range, surrounded by peaks, the Law Enforcement Sect perched atop the tallest one. From below, it pierced the clouds, its summit out of sight.

At the mountain’s base, Ye Xuan looked up and laughed. “Law Enforcement Sect! Weren’t you out to kill me? I’m right here—where is everyone?”

An old man in a black robe appeared before him, hands clasped behind his back, his face as emotionless as a corpse.

Ye Xuan grinned. “Call your sect master out!”

The old man replied, “That’s me!”

Ye Xuan froze.

The sect master just… showed up?

The black-robed old man stared at him, silent.

Ye Xuan laughed again. “Weren’t you going to kill me? Come on—I’m right here! Do it!”

The old man remained silent.

Ye Xuan frowned. Something felt off. Sensing a presence, he spun around. On a nearby rock sat a woman!

Straw skirt, bamboo umbrella in hand.

Who the hell was this?

Ye Xuan was baffled.

The black-robed old man suddenly spoke. “Mountain Lord, forgive us for not greeting you properly!”

Mountain Lord!

Ye Xuan’s mouth twitched. He knew who she was now!

Yan Ban Shan, Lord of Spirit Mountain!

She stood and walked to Ye Xuan. “Come with me!”

With that, she turned to leave.

Ye Xuan hesitated, then said, “How about we wipe out the Law Enforcement Sect first?”

The black-robed old man’s brow furrowed, his calm gaze turning icy as he stared at Ye Xuan!

Yan Ban Shan stopped, turning to him. “You wipe them out—I’ll watch!”

She stepped aside, sat down, and fixed her eyes on him.

Ye Xuan’s expression froze.

Yan Ban Shan repeated, “Wipe them out! I’m watching!”

Ye Xuan: “…”

The black-robed old man watched him too.

He feared Yan Ban Shan, but the Law Enforcement Sect wasn’t truly afraid of her—she was just one person. Still, he had no desire to provoke her. She was one of the Boundary Realm’s three acknowledged supreme powerhouses!

More crucially, she was a lone wolf—no ties, no burdens. She’d fight if she could win, flee if she couldn’t. The sect couldn’t exactly flatten Spirit Mountain, could they?

Even if they could, they wouldn’t dare!

Who was Spirit Mountain’s ancestor?

A Dao Ling—a supreme powerhouse!

And if Yan Ban Shan could summon her ancestor…

Yan Ban Shan suddenly piped up, “Wipe them out already!”

The black-robed old man turned to Ye Xuan. “Young Master Ye wants to destroy my sect? Go ahead—we’re all waiting!”

Ye Xuan thought for a moment, then said, “Sect Master, I’ve got this Qingxuan Sword here. Wanna take a look?”

He held it out. “It’s fun—check it out!”

The black-robed old man: “…”
