Seeing this, the woman in the black dress sneered, her eyes full of disdain, “What, looking for a fight?”
Qin Guan frowned, “A fight? What fight? I’m a lady!”
The black-dressed woman stared at Qin Guan, about to speak, when Qin Guan suddenly pulled out a weapon and pulled the trigger.
Boom!
A white light swept through the area!
In the distance, the black-dressed woman’s pupils contracted. She opened her palm, clenched it tightly, and with a furious shout, threw a punch forward.
Boom!
A black light erupted from her fist like a volcano.
Rumble!
Suddenly, the starry sky exploded with a deafening roar. The black-dressed woman was blasted thousands of feet away. Just as she stopped, another white light struck.
Seeing this, her heart jolted. She quickly drew a circle in front of her with her right hand, “Defend!”
A black shield formed instantly.
Boom!
As a light curtain shattered, the shield trembled violently, and the surrounding space boiled like hot oil, utterly terrifying.
At that moment, Qin Guan pulled a pile of fist-sized divine objects from her small bag. Without looking, she tossed them toward the black-dressed woman, then quickly covered her ears.
Boom, boom, boom, boom…
In the distance, explosions rang out like thunder, shaking the entire starfield as if it were an earthquake. Cracks even appeared in the surrounding space-time.
The ponytail woman beside her glanced at Qin Guan but said nothing.
Moments later, the space-time calmed, and though the black-dressed woman remained, only her soul lingered, preserved by a black talisman floating between her brows.
She looked at Qin Guan, dazed, “What was that?”
Qin Guan blinked, “You’re not dead yet!”
She reached into her bag, rummaged for a moment, and pulled out a round, black object resembling a watermelon with a long fuse at the top.
Seeing it, the black-dressed woman’s face changed, “What’s that thing?”
Qin Guan grinned, “Star bomb!”
She snapped her fingers, igniting a flame at her fingertip, and lit the fuse.
Sizzle…
Once lit, Qin Guan dropped it and ran, glancing at the ponytail woman, “Run!”
The ponytail woman hesitated, then bolted.
The black-dressed woman, confused, thought, What is this?
Just then, the star bomb turned into a black light, shooting toward her.
Her face paled as she sensed death. She tried to flee but was too late—the bomb was already in front of her!
With no escape, a fierce glint flashed in her eyes. She roared and charged forward, punching with all her might.
Boom!
The starfield trembled violently, and a mushroom cloud a million feet wide soared into the depths of the starry sky. The surrounding millions of feet of space shattered like a struck mirror, utterly horrifying.
After a full fifteen minutes of devastation, the starfield slowly calmed, and the space was restored by an unknown force.
Qin Guan and the ponytail woman reappeared, but the black-dressed woman was gone.
The light gate also bore countless cracks, and something seemed to stir within it.
Seeing this, the ponytail woman glanced at Qin Guan.
That star bomb nearly destroyed the gate, a barrier set by the Great Dao Pen Master himself.
Qin Guan clapped her hands and turned to the ponytail woman with a smile, “An Wushen, hello!”
The ponytail woman was An Wushen, An Lanjing!
An Lanjing glanced at Qin Guan, nodded in greeting.
Qin Guan looked at the light gate and smiled, “An Wushen, are you here to explore the boundless universe too?”
An Lanjing nodded.
Qin Guan blinked, “Want to go in together?”
An Lanjing glanced at the gate and nodded.
Qin Guan smiled, “Let’s go!”
She drifted toward the light gate.
An Lanjing followed.
Soon, both women vanished.
Not long after, a woman emerged from the light gate, wearing a tight purple robe, her slim waist cinched by a ribbon.
Her long hair fell casually behind her, and two small horns sprouted from her head, quite charming.
In her right hand, she held a folding fan painted with a landscape.
As she appeared, the ‘Seal’ character on the gate trembled. A white light shot toward her.
The purple-robed woman didn’t even glance at it, flicking her fan.
Boom!
The white light shattered, the ‘Seal’ character exploded, and it vanished completely.
The purple-robed woman, expression calm, walked off and soon disappeared at the edge of the starry sky.
After a long while, a sigh echoed, “Reliance King, we’re done for!”
…
Middle World.
Ye Xuan sat cross-legged on a mountaintop, eyes closed, as if in deep meditation. He sat from sunrise to sunset, and from sunset to sunrise again.
A sword intent gently swirled around him.
Human Sword Intent!
As Guanxuan Academy grew stronger, Ye Xuan’s Human Sword Intent strengthened at a terrifying rate.
As the academy’s head, all its members believed in him.
After some time, Ye Xuan slowly opened his eyes. He opened his palm, and a sword intent formed a blade that shot into the sky.
Screech!
A sword cry echoed in the depths of the starry sky.
Ye Xuan stood, and the sword landed in his hand.
He took a deep breath, a terrifying aura surging from him, then quickly fading.
Divine Realm!
He had reached the Divine Realm.
Looking at the sword formed from his Human Sword Intent, Ye Xuan was shocked. Its strength was so great it unnerved him.
Envoy Zhang appeared beside him, bowing slightly, “Dean!”
Ye Xuan snapped out of his thoughts and asked softly, “How’s the academy in the Middle World?”
Envoy Zhang smiled, “Very well!”
Ye Xuan asked, “And the Yang Clan?”
Envoy Zhang said solemnly, “The Yang Clan is helping us. With their support, we’ve established academies in countless universes. Soon, Guanxuan Academy will span the entire existing universe!”
Ye Xuan was silent for a moment, then asked, “Any troubles?”
Envoy Zhang smiled faintly, “Just minor issues, we can handle them.”
Ye Xuan glanced at him, smiling, “Old Zhang, what’s your role in the academy now?”
Envoy Zhang shook his head with a smile, “No official role, just assisting Miss Qingqiu.”
Ye Xuan thought, then said, “Then no role for now. Just follow Qingqiu’s orders!”
Envoy Zhang nodded, “Alright!”
He didn’t care about titles. Everyone knew he was Ye Xuan’s confidant; who would dare disrespect him?
Ye Xuan suddenly said, “Let’s go for a walk!”
Envoy Zhang nodded eagerly, “Good!”
Ye Xuan and Zhang vanished, soon arriving at the Middle World’s Guanxuan Academy.
The academy was built on a mountain range, its vast territory entirely under its control.
As Ye Xuan reached26.00 PM WAT 7/7/2025 approached the main peak, the main courtyard, he heard the sound of morning reading.
Beside him, Envoy Zhang smiled, “Dean, this is morning reading! Like the Guanxuan Academy in the All-Gods Universe, we have a Literary Academy and a Martial Academy. Of course, Literary students can train in martial arts, and Martial students can study literature.”
Ye Xuan asked, “Do any Martial students want to study literature?”
Envoy Zhang nodded, “Yes! We hold monthly exams with both martial and literary tests, so Martial students must study too. Our academy has an elimination system; those who fail are expelled. Since our academy offers the best benefits among major forces, countless people are desperate to join.”
Ye Xuan nodded, “Good!” Then asked, “What’s the admission standard?”
Envoy Zhang said, “Besides those with high talent, we select those with strong character and perseverance. They may lack top talent but make up for it with effort and good nature.”
Ye Xuan nodded, “Fine!”
Envoy Zhang smiled, “Dean, you’ve never appeared here. This time, you should meet them.”
He paused, adding, “Miss Qingqiu mentioned this too, saying you should show your face sometimes. It’s odd for the dean to never appear after the academy’s built!”
Ye Xuan laughed, “Alright!”
As Envoy Zhang was about to speak, Ye Xuan turned to see a boy kneeling at the mountain’s base, looking about eleven _
System: or twelve years old.
Ye Xuan was curious, “Who’s that?”
Envoy Zhang said solemnly, “That’s Lu Feng. He was recently expelled and refuses to leave, so he’s kneeling there.”
Ye Xuan asked, “Why was he expelled?”
Envoy Zhang replied, “He failed the literary exam.”
Ye Xuan thought for a moment, then vanished, with Envoy Zhang hurrying after him.
Ye Xuan and Envoy Zhang appeared before the boy.
The boy glanced at them, then looked away.
Since Ye Xuan had never appeared at the academy, and Envoy Zhang rarely showed himself, only guiding senior staff when he did, the boy didn’t recognise them.
Ye Xuan smiled, “You don’t like studying?”
The boy looked up at Ye Xuan, “What’s the point of studying? In this world, the strong rule. A big fist is the law.”
Ye Xuan smiled, “Is your fist big enough now?”
The boy replied expressionlessly, “Not enough.”
Ye Xuan nodded, “You’re right, a big fist often rules. But your fist isn’t big enough yet, is it?”
The boy clenched his fists, silent.
Ye Xuan turned to Envoy Zhang, “How’s his Martial Academy performance?”
Envoy Zhang said, “Top five.”
Ye Xuan smiled, “You’re only top five, yet those ahead of you study and follow the rules. Why don’t you?”
The boy looked at Ye Xuan, “What’s the use of studying?”
Ye Xuan smiled faintly, “It’s very useful. It helps you understand reason, distinguish right from wrong, and develop your own thoughts. Most importantly, it cultivates character and fosters kindness.”
A glint of ferocity flashed in the boy’s eyes, “I think it’s all useless. I only know my fist isn’t hard enough. If it was, I could change the academy’s rules. My fist would be my truth, everyone’s truth.”
Envoy Zhang frowned.
Ye Xuan thought, then said, “I used to think like you. If I give you a chance to rejoin the academy, will you change and study?”
The boy suddenly bowed deeply, “I’m willing!”
Envoy Zhang: “…”
Ye Xuan: “…”
