Master Of The Blade Chapter 2556

And so, Ye Xuan and Qin Guan joined the Dao Sect!

The sect had mixed feelings about their arrival: some were pleased, but most were worried. After all, they had welcomed a formidable figure!

After Ye Xuan joined, the Dao Sect Leader, Dao Yan, immediately issued an order forbidding anyone from troubling him.

He knew well that conflicts were common within the sect, especially among the younger generation, where rivalries were fierce.

To prevent the sect’s prodigies from provoking Ye Xuan, he laid down a strict decree.

Fortunately, after joining, neither Ye Xuan nor Qin Guan caused any trouble.

Each day, they spent their time in the Dao Sect’s Scripture Repository, reading.

The Scripture Repository was no ordinary place; it was the core of the Dao Sect, housing all its martial arts manuals, mental cultivation techniques, divine abilities, and even relics left by the Master of the Great Dao Pen.

Historically, only the sect leader could freely enter it.

Now, Ye Xuan and Qin Guan had access too, sparking envy among many in the sect.

In the Scripture Repository, Qin Guan sat on the floor, leaning against a bookshelf, engrossed in an ancient text.

Nearby, Ye Xuan was equally absorbed in another ancient book.

On the top floor, Dao Sect Leader Dao Yan and Supreme Elder Dao Qing watched them.

These two were the sect’s strongest and most authoritative figures.

“They seem to genuinely be here to study,” Dao Qing said softly.

Dao Yan nodded.

For the past two days, they had been on edge, fearing Ye Xuan and Qin Guan had ulterior motives. Now, it appeared they had none.

Dao Qing suddenly asked, “Have you found anything about that senior’s origins?”

Dao Yan shook his head. “Not a trace of information about her. But…”

His expression grew solemn. “I asked the Heavenly Dao.”

“The Heavenly Dao?” Dao Qing looked at him. “It actually responded to you?”

Despite Dao Sect being a top-tier force in the New World, with past ties to the Master of the Great Dao Pen, the Heavenly Dao had always ignored them.

After all, the Master had left the sect countless years ago.

Perhaps he had entirely forgotten about Dao Sect.

Dao Yan said gravely, “Not only did it respond, it sought me out. It seemed eager to build ties with us.”

Dao Qing’s eyes narrowed. “Because of that boy.”

Dao Yan nodded. “I asked about the senior, but when I mentioned her, the Heavenly Dao was clearly afraid. It didn’t dare say much, only that we should take good care of the boy. As long as he’s safe in the sect, our future will soar.”

Dao Qing was silent for a long time before sighing. “Who would’ve thought the arrogant Heavenly Dao would be so humble before that senior? It’s unimaginable.”

Dao Yan agreed. “Indeed.”

Dao Qing said, “If it’s a blessing, it’s not a curse. If it’s a curse, we can’t avoid it. Let’s just take good care of the boy and the woman.”

Dao Yan nodded. “I’ve made arrangements.”

Dao Qing added gravely, “The older generation knows to behave, so I’m not worried about them. It’s the younger generation I’m concerned about.”

Dao Yan replied, “I’ve spoken to Dao Shou. He’ll keep the young ones in line.”

Dao Shou was the sect’s top prodigy.

Dao Qing nodded slightly. “We need to keep a close eye on things.”

Dao Yan agreed, looking down at Ye Xuan and Qin Guan. “Let’s hope it’s a blessing.”

The thought of that woman in the plain skirt still filled him with fear.

Inside the hall, Qin Guan suddenly said, “Little Xuan, look!”

Ye Xuan, engrossed in his book, put it away and looked at Qin Guan. She pointed to her text. “Notes of the Great Dao!”

Ye Xuan approached, surprised. “The Master of the Great Dao Pen’s notes?”

Qin Guan nodded.

Curious, Ye Xuan asked, “What’s it about?”

Qin Guan smiled. “A cultivation method.” She handed him the book.

Ye Xuan opened it and saw three words: *Dao Law Scripture*.

He began reading but frowned. The text was in ancient characters he couldn’t understand.

Looking at Qin Guan, she grinned. “I can read it. It’s ancient Chinese text from Huaxia.”

She took the book back. “This scripture is quite obscure. Even if I translated it, you wouldn’t understand much. Once I’ve studied it thoroughly, I’ll simplify it for you.”

Ye Xuan nodded eagerly. “Great.”

Qin Guan glanced around, whispering, “I’m certain this place was once home to the Master of the Great Dao Pen. There are traces of the Milky Way’s aura here.”

Her eyes narrowed. “This confirms a theory of mine.”

Ye Xuan, curious, asked, “What theory?”

Qin Guan said seriously, “The Master of the Great Dao Pen originated from the Milky Way. He’s a native of it.”

Looking at the book, she murmured, “My Huaxia truly produces remarkable talents.”

Ye Xuan, puzzled, said, “But from what I know, Huaxia’s martial arts civilisation is quite low now.”

Qin Guan smiled. “That was before. Now, Huaxia’s technology and ancient martial arts are advancing rapidly. Of course, compared to these places, it’s still far behind. At least, no one in the Milky Way lives past a thousand years.”

She looked at Ye Xuan. “Once my matters are settled, Little Xuan, want to visit the Milky Way with me?”

Ye Xuan grinned. “To the Milky Way?”

Qin Guan nodded. “I’ve been wandering out here so long, I want to go back and take a look. After all, it’s my home.”

Ye Xuan nodded. “I’ll go with you to check it out.”

Qin Guan smiled. “Good.” She picked up another book and handed it to Ye Xuan. “Take a look at this. It’s a realm system compiled by the Master of the Great Dao Pen, a complete cultivation framework. He clearly wanted to standardise it, but the universe is vast, with different civilisations and cultivation methods, so the system ended up complex and chaotic.”

Ye Xuan opened the book, finding detailed records of realms, some familiar, others entirely new.

The highest realm in the Dimensional Universe was the Tenth Dimensional Realm, above which was the Dao Realm.

This Dao Realm was the path of the Master of the Great Dao Pen.

Only at this level did one truly touch his Dao, encountering the rules he’d set. At this point, many top cultivators began to conceive of defying the heavens.

They realised their entire cultivation journey had been within the Master’s rules.

The Dao Realm was divided into Inner Dao, Outer Dao, and Divine Dao.

Inner Dao was the self, Outer Dao was the universe, and Divine Dao was their union.

Mu Xingzhi, Gu Sang, and other imprisoned figures followed the Outer Dao.

Nan Qing, however, was beginning to touch the Divine Dao, nearly integrating an entire universe into herself during her attack.

But Ye Xuan couldn’t gauge Nan Qing’s true strength, as she was instantly defeated by Qing’er’s single sword strike.

Above the Dao Realm were three more realms: Past Dao, Present Dao, and Future Dao.

Past Dao involved understanding and severing the past. Present Dao was comprehending and severing all present Daos. Future Dao was the same, severing the future’s Daos.

Reading this, Ye Xuan fell silent.

He knew only three people capable of severing past, present, and future: Qing’er, Big Brother, and Father.

And from what he knew, they had achieved this countless years ago.

In other words, long ago, their strength had far surpassed the realms he was now encountering. And now, the three of them…

A sense of powerlessness rose in Ye Xuan’s heart.

Surpassing Qing’er and the others? That seemed just a tad difficult!

Besides them, Qingqiu and Boundless Lord likely reached this level too.

Thinking of Boundless Lord, Ye Xuan frowned. That man was cunning, hiding in the lower realms for so long to kill him, even letting others think he was a nobody.

What a sacrifice!

Above these three realms was one more: the Unknown Realm.

The Master of the Great Dao Pen gave no description, just those three words.

Ye Xuan frowned. “Did this guy not know how to describe it?”

Master of the Great Dao Pen: “…”

After a moment, Ye Xuan put away the book. He now had a clear understanding of future realms.

But he was still only at the Dimensional Realm.

Still a long way to go!

He shook his head with a soft sigh. Without Qing’er bringing him here, who knows how long it would’ve taken him to reach this place on his own.

Without further thought, Ye Xuan continued reading.

Somewhere in the void, three figures walked slowly.

Leading them was Boundless Lord, followed by the Deity and Monk Wu.

Boundless Lord pointed to a distant white light. “See that place? Beyond it lies the New World, where the Master of the Great Dao Pen once stayed.”

Monk Wu, curious, asked, “The New World?”

Boundless Lord nodded. “Yes. We can finally shake off that Backer King.”

Monk Wu looked at him. “The Backer King can’t reach this place?”

Boundless Lord chuckled. “At his current cultivation pace, it’ll take him at least a hundred thousand years to get here. Finally, we won’t have to deal with that fool. Haha…”
