The little elf nodded. “Yes! The richest being in this universe is the cosmic spirit itself.”
Ye Xuan grew curious. “Those outsiders from the True Realm come here to slaughter the beings of this world. Doesn’t the cosmic spirit care?”
The little elf shook her head. “They’re in it together.”
Ye Xuan frowned. “They’re accomplices?”
The little elf nodded. “Exactly! After the True Realm people slaughter some of the stronger beings, this fellow takes the chance to restart the universe and begin a new cycle. That way, it grows stronger. Conservatively, I’d say it has already gone through at least a hundred cycles! Each cycle gives it a terrifying boost in power. Unfortunately, it still couldn’t beat Big Sister Plain Skirt. She beat it until it knelt!”

Ye Xuan laughed. “It really knelt?”

It was fake.
Ye Xuan looked at the little elf. She said calmly, “It’s fake.”

The little elf sneaked a glance at him and said nothing, looking somewhat guilty.

Qin Guan glanced at the little elf, then asked, “Who’s this?”
Ye Xuan explained everything about the little elf and Restart Star. After listening, Qin Guan said softly, “So our universe has actually been restarted, and so many times at that. How unexpected.”
Ye Xuan nodded, somewhat emotional.
If not for Qing’er, this universe would have been restarted yet again.
Countless living beings might have died without ever knowing how.
At that moment, Qin Guan suddenly said, “Let’s go take a look.”
Ye Xuan nodded and turned to the little elf. “Lead the way.”
The little elf grinned, then pulled the air in front of her with both tiny hands. The space inside the small pagoda was torn open instantly. The next moment, she flew straight in.
Ye Xuan and Qin Guan exchanged a glance, then quickly followed.
In an instant, the two arrived in a pitch-black starry expanse. There were very few stars here; the entire sky felt oppressively dark.
The little elf pointed into the distance. “Look over there!”
Ye Xuan and Qin Guan looked towards the horizon. At the very edge of their vision stood a towering gate of light over ten thousand zhang high. Inside the gate was a white vortex that even divine sense could not penetrate.
The little elf said seriously, “That’s the entrance to Restart Star.”
Ye Xuan smiled. “Any danger?”
The little elf nodded. “Yes.”
Ye Xuan asked, “What kind of danger?”
The little elf said gravely, “If we go any further, the guardian here will appear. It was placed here by the cosmic spirit to watch the gate. It’s very strong.”
Ye Xuan frowned slightly. “When Qing’er came here back then, didn’t she kill this guardian?”
The little elf shook her head. “The guardian sensed how powerful Big Sister Plain Skirt was, so it pretended to be asleep and never woke up.”

The little elf looked at Ye Xuan. “You go fight it.”
