Ye Xuan glanced at the little elf. This little thing was unreliable, the type that never showed up when needed!
In the distance, the demonic beast was enormous, like a mountain, thousands of zhang tall, dragon-like in form with nine heads. Its upper body was hidden amongst the clouds, lightning constantly flashing around it. Every time it roared in fury, the entire world trembled violently. It was utterly terrifying.
Ye Xuan looked curious. “Little one, what kind of demonic beast is that?”
The little elf replied, “Nine Divine Beast! It has nine heads, each head representing one life, so it has nine lives in total. It is the mount of the Cosmic Spirit and has lived for countless years!”

Ye Xuan frowned. “What is it roaring about?”
The little elf said, “It’s probably gone mad!”
Ye Xuan’s expression froze.
The little elf giggled. “It does this every now and then!”
Ye Xuan asked seriously, “It hasn’t even noticed us yet. Why do we need to fight it?”
The little elf pointed into the distance. “The place we need to go is right behind it. That’s also where the Cosmic Spirit hides its treasures!”

At those words, Qin Guan’s eyes instantly lit up.
The little elf continued, “If we want to get in, we have to defeat this fellow!”
She turned to Ye Xuan. “Brother Ye, it’s all up to you!”

The little elf answered, “After it was beaten back then, it hid itself inside its own cosmic realm and has never appeared again! I think it must have been beaten so badly that it started questioning its entire existence!”

Ye Xuan looked at the distant beast and said solemnly, “I’m not interested in treasures at all. I mainly just want to spar with this demonic beast!”
With that, he began walking towards it.
The little elf watched Ye Xuan, blinked, and muttered, “I believe you, my foot!”
Ye Xuan approached the colossal beast. In terms of size, he was no more than an ant before it.

As Ye Xuan’s voice rang out, the sword-energy rainbow directly shattered the sound-wave attack. The sword energy continued unimpeded, slashing straight onto the beast’s body.

A burst of sword light suddenly exploded from the beast. It staggered backwards repeatedly, but Ye Xuan frowned because he discovered that the beast had actually devoured his sword energy!
Seeing this, puzzlement appeared in Ye Xuan’s eyes.
At that moment, the little elf’s voice suddenly sounded in his ear. “It has a special ability: it can devour energy. That’s why the longer it fights, the stronger it becomes!”
Hearing this, Ye Xuan looked at the beast in surprise.

Just then, the beast roared again. Its primary head fixed its gaze on Ye Xuan, and the next moment, it opened its mouth and spewed a torrent of flames!

Ye Xuan’s expression remained calm. He raised his hand and swung his sword.

The beast’s soul was directly suppressed within its body by the Azure Profound Sword, rendering it completely immobile!
At that moment, unmistakable terror appeared in the beast’s eyes!
Below, the little elf stared at Ye Xuan, her eyes filled with disbelief. “Brother Ye is insane! I thought he was just some spoiled second-generation young master! I never imagined he was actually this strong!”
Qin Guan shook her head with a smile. She looked at Ye Xuan and had to admit she was also rather shocked!

The beast looked at Ye Xuan and said nothing.
Ye Xuan spread his palm, and the Azure Profound Sword flew back to his hand. He gazed at the beast. “Do you want to leave this place?”
This beast was indeed formidable. If not for the Azure Profound Sword and his bloodline power, he would never have been able to do anything to it!
Hearing Ye Xuan’s words, the beast frowned. “Leave this place?”
Ye Xuan nodded. “Yes!”
The beast shook its head. “Do you know whose mount I am?”
Ye Xuan smiled. “The Cosmic Spirit!”
The beast stared at Ye Xuan. “You had better leave now while it has not yet awakened. Otherwise, once it wakes up, you will die a very, very ugly death!”
Ye Xuan said softly, “I might not be able to defeat it, but I definitely won’t die!”
The beast frowned slightly. “Are you bragging?”
Ye Xuan laughed heartily. “No. In this world, as things stand, there are certainly many beings I cannot beat. However, I should not die. Of course, this is nothing to be proud of. I’m just saying it casually. Absolutely no bragging intended!”
The beast shook its head. “You are strong, but if the Cosmic Spirit wants to kill you, you absolutely cannot stop it.”
Ye Xuan smiled. “You don’t have to follow me if you don’t want to!”
With that, he appeared beside Qin Guan and said with a laugh, “Let’s go in!”
Qin Guan nodded.
The three of them walked towards an ancient city behind the beast. Suddenly, Qin Guan said, “You could have tried to persuade it a bit more. I think it was tempted!”
Ye Xuan blinked. “One must know when to stop!”
Qin Guan smiled faintly. “Understood!”
