“Trash!”
The word stunned the entire crowd.
Dragon One, the lord of the Forbidden City, ranked first on the God List, was called trash? Wasn’t Ye Wushuang too arrogant?
“Hahaha, the old Ye Wushuang is back!”
Master Longbrow laughed heartily, “Ye Qiu, learn from your father. A true man stands tall and fearless, that’s the spirit!”
Ye Wudi boasted to Dragon Lady, “See that? That’s my big brother.”
“I’ve seen him before,” Dragon Lady rolled her eyes, glancing at Ye Wushuang’s back with anticipation. “Twenty years ago, he was the world’s top master. Now that he’s returned, is he still invincible?”
Ye Wudi grinned, “Don’t worry, my big brother is always invincible. Dragon One is done for!”
Dragon One glared at Ye Wushuang, his voice laced with icy killing intent, “Ye Wushuang, you’ve got some luck surviving until now.”
“You shouldn’t be so arrogant before me.”
“They say three days apart warrants a fresh look, let alone twenty years.”
“Let me tell you, I’m not the Dragon One from back then.”
Ye Wushuang replied calmly, “No matter how many years pass, you’re still trash in my eyes.”
“I’m not trash!”
Dragon One roared, his body erupting with a towering aura.
No true qi appeared behind him, but a mysterious white light enveloped him.
At that moment, Dragon One seemed like a deity.
“Come, let’s see if this trash has improved after twenty years,” Ye Wushuang said coolly, hands behind his back, dismissing Dragon One entirely.
“Ye Wushuang, I failed to kill you twenty years ago. Today, you get no second chance.”
“I’ll kill you to avenge my brother.”
“And after you’re dead, I’ll kill your son, your father, your brothers.”
“I’ll wipe out your entire Ye family.”
With those words, Dragon One leaped, striking a palm toward Ye Wushuang.
Buzz!
His palm carried destructive force, the air around it exploding from the pressure.
Moreover, as he struck, the palm print expanded like a millstone, terrifyingly immense.
Yet, facing this powerful strike, Ye Wushuang stood unmoved, calm as a still well.
Only when Dragon One closed in did Ye Wushuang throw a punch, colliding with the palm.
“Boom!”
An explosion like thunder rang out.
Instantly, Dragon One was sent flying dozens of meters, tumbling through the air before using a heavy drop to land.
Even then, he staggered back seven or eight steps.
Only then did Dragon One stabilize himself.
The crowd was shaken.
No one expected this outcome.
“The king-like man is back. If the Forbidden City falls, we’re all doomed,” the prominent family leaders whispered, trembling with fear.
Twenty years ago, it was the Forbidden City that fanned the flames, leading them to join the siege against Ye Wushuang.
Who could’ve imagined that, after all these years, Ye Wushuang not only returned but was stronger than ever?
Ye Qiu and the others, witnessing this, were both shocked and exhilarated.
“Too fierce,” Ye Qiu said, full of admiration.
Master Du’e clasped his hands, “Amitabha, Benefactor Ye is as formidable as ever, unmatched in the world.”
War God said enviously, “A son like Ye Wushuang is a blessing. Old Ye, you’ve got a great son!”
Old Master Ye glared, displeased, “What’s that? Are Wuwei and Wudi lacking?”
Ye Wudi and Ye Wuwei stared at War God.
“Haha, my mistake,” War God laughed, “Old Ye, all three of your sons are impressive, but I’d bet your grandson will outshine them all.”
Old Master Ye beamed proudly, “Obviously! Look whose blood flows in Ye Qiu’s veins!”
Nearby, Ye Wudi said to Dragon Lady, “Honey, see how awesome my big brother is?”
Dragon Lady nodded, amazed, “Impressive.”
Ye Wudi said, “I wish I could be that awesome someday.”
“You?” Dragon Lady glanced at him, scoffing, “When you don’t need to lean on a wall to stand, I’ll admit you’re impressive.”
Ye Wudi: “…”
On the other side.
Dragon One stared at Ye Wushuang in horror, his heart pounding.
How could this be?
How was Ye Wushuang so strong?
Dragon One couldn’t believe it.
After twenty years in seclusion, he’d become an immortal cultivator, thinking he could dominate the world. Yet, he couldn’t withstand a single strike from Ye Wushuang.
Worse, he couldn’t gauge Ye Wushuang’s cultivation depth.
But he knew Ye Wushuang was also an immortal cultivator.
Ye Wushuang spoke, “Dragon One, I recall twenty years ago, you had nine strands of true qi. How, after all these years, have you progressed so little?”
“As I said, you’re trash.”
Dragon One’s rage flared, “Ye Wushuang, don’t get cocky.”
“You caught me off guard earlier, that’s all.”
“Now, I’ll show you my true strength.”
Thud!
Dragon One stomped, shattering the stone floor, the ground quaking as if an earthquake struck.
“Roar!”
He let out a long howl, like a tiger unleashed, the sound so powerful it ruptured eardrums, causing some spectators to faint.
Black mist seeped from Dragon One’s body, his aura surging, like a peerless demon king breaking free from chains, exuding danger.
Everyone could feel it: Dragon One’s power and presence were unprecedentedly strong.
“Ye Wushuang, die!”
Dragon One struck a palm through the air.
“Buzz!”
A massive palm print loomed like a dark cloud, suffocating those nearby.
This move was terrifying.
Ye Qiu thought to himself, if that palm targeted him, he’d be dead.
An immortal cultivator’s power was far beyond that of a true qi cultivator like him.
“How will Father respond?”
Ye Qiu’s gaze fell on Ye Wushuang, who remained calm, showing no aura fluctuations.
Suddenly, Ye Wushuang moved.
His figure vanished in a flash.
The next second, a “bang” sounded, and Dragon One was under Ye Wushuang’s foot, pinned to the ground.
