Ye Qiu stared at the Dragon Vein, a mocking smile curling at his lips. He thought to himself, You think you’re untouchable? Let’s see where you can escape to now.
The next second.
“Roar!”
The Dragon Vein let out a bellow, its massive body swinging fiercely, crashing into the mountain peak.
“Boom!”
Rocks flew, and dust rose.
The Dragon Vein smashed a hole into the mountain, darted inside, and vanished.
“Still trying to escape? Hmph!”
Ye Qiu’s figure flashed, swiftly arriving at the cave entrance. Just as he was about to pursue the Dragon Vein, the Long-browed Master’s voice rang out.
“Little brat, help us cross the bridge. Let’s catch the Dragon Vein together.” The Long-browed Master charged towards the stone bridge first.
Fairy Baihua followed closely behind.
The others also ran onto the bridge.
With a thought, Ye Qiu sent the four Qiankun Cauldrons flying out, casting a golden light that shielded everyone below. Thus, they all crossed the stone bridge safely.
The Long-browed Master laughed. “The Qiankun Cauldrons can even suppress the Huashen Formation. What a treasure. Little brat, how about I trade a hundred Flame Talismans for one Qiankun Cauldron?”
“Stop talking nonsense and chase the Dragon Vein before it escapes,” Ye Qiu said, rushing into the cave first.
Upon entering, Ye Qiu stopped, his face showing surprise.
The others followed, and when they saw the scene before them, their faces were filled with shock.
“Good heavens, what is this place?”
Everyone was stunned.
Looking around, the entire mountain peak had been hollowed out. A bronze spiral staircase stretched from the ground upwards, hundreds of metres long, thick as a mountain, reaching the peak’s summit, resembling a lifelike dragon.
It was grand and majestic.
Utterly spectacular.
On both sides of the staircase stood one-metre-high railings, made of bluestone, carved with dragon patterns.
Atop each railing sat an eternal lamp, illuminating the mountain’s interior as bright as day.
“This is the true Kunlun Divine Palace!” the Long-browed Master said.
“Let’s go!” Without hesitation, Ye Qiu stepped onto the staircase, gripping the God-beating Whip for safety.
“Be careful, everyone,” Ye Qiu warned.
The others followed behind, tense and cautious.
They ascended the staircase.
Minutes later.
They reached the top, relieved, as no dangers had appeared.
Xiao Zhan said, “Boss, I counted. The staircase has three hundred sixty-five steps and seven hundred thirty eternal lamps.”
The Long-browed Master snapped, “Why count that? You must be bored out of your mind.”
Ye Qiu looked ahead. Though they had climbed the staircase, they hadn’t truly reached the peak.
Before them stood a massive bronze gate.
Above it, four seal characters were carved, which the Long-browed Master recognised instantly.
“Divine Palace Treasury!”
The Long-browed Master laughed heartily. “We’ve found the Kunlun Divine Palace’s treasury. We’re rich, rich…”
So spineless!
Fairy Baihua’s face was full of disdain.
Surprisingly, Master Chongxu didn’t mock him this time, his eyes fixed on the bronze gate, secretly excited.
Having seen the grandeur of the Kunlun Divine Palace, they knew the treasury must hold countless treasures.
“Where’s the Dragon Vein?” Fairy Baihua asked.
“It went in here,” Ye Qiu said, pointing at the bronze gate. He had secretly drawn a tracking talisman upon entering the cave.
Now, the talisman rested on the bronze gate.
Fairy Baihua looked puzzled. “Strange, if the Dragon Vein went in, how did it open this gate?”
Master Chongxu said, “Perhaps the gate was already open. Besides, the Dragon Vein has long resided here and knows everything well. Entering would be easy for it.”
“Let’s not worry about that. Open the bronze gate first,” Ye Qiu ordered. “Old man, it’s up to you.”
“Piece of cake,” the Long-browed Master chuckled, approaching the gate.
But he didn’t rush to find the mechanism.
His eyes darted, and he turned to the group, smiling. “Friends, let’s make a deal. If I open this gate, I get half the treasures inside. Agreed?”
“Fine,” Fairy Baihua agreed instantly.
She cared only about the Dragon Vein, not the treasury’s contents.
“I’ve no objections,” Ye Qiu thought. Half? Can you even carry that much?
With Fairy Baihua and Ye Qiu agreeing, Lüluo, Xiao Zhan, and Hu Zi naturally had no issues.
“Bull-nose, what about you?” the Long-browed Master asked.
Master Chongxu said, “Dog, you mean whoever opens this gate gets half the treasures?”
“That’s my meaning…” Before the Long-browed Master could finish, Master Chongxu shot forward, swiftly striking four palm blows at the four characters of “Divine Palace Treasury.”
Yet, the bronze gate didn’t budge.
It wouldn’t open?
Master Chongxu’s face turned awkward. He had tried to mimic the Long-browed Master’s method of opening the Kunlun Divine Palace, but it failed.
The Long-browed Master grinned. “Bull-nose, want to try again?”
“Try what? I wasn’t trying to open the gate. I just wanted to test if those four characters were sturdy,” Master Chongxu said, retreating.
The Long-browed Master smirked. “Stubborn as a mule!”
“Alright, old man, hurry up and open the gate,” Ye Qiu urged.
“No problem. In ten seconds, I’ll have this gate open,” the Long-browed Master said, stepping forward and pressing a palm on the lower-left corner of the bronze gate.
“Boom!”
The gate swung open, a musty smell rushing out, choking the Long-browed Master into a coughing fit, nearly bringing tears to his eyes.
The others, seeing the gate open, hurried forward, standing at the entrance and peering inside.
Instantly, a vast treasury appeared in their view, filled with gold, silver, and jewels, countless in number.
Beyond that, there were thousands of divine weapons and artifacts.
This was an enormous treasure vault!
“We’re rich, rich…”
The Long-browed Master, overjoyed, danced and rushed into the treasury, picking up a gold ingot larger than a washbasin and biting it hard in front of everyone.

The group was speechless.
“Dog, have you gone mad with greed?” Master Chongxu laughed and cursed.
“It’s pure gold,” the Long-browed Master shouted excitedly. “As agreed, half these treasures are mine. Don’t you dare snatch them…”

The Long-browed Master suddenly foamed at the mouth, collapsing with a “thud,” convulsing uncontrollably.
