Li Chaohui’s expression changed drastically. He pointed at her. “You said you’re the demon race’s number-one beauty?”
The little fox smiled lightly. “Don’t I look the part?”
“If you’re the demon race’s number-one beauty, then you’re…” Li Chaohui couldn’t finish.
“You guessed right.”
“I am the sovereign of the Myriad Demon Nation, Bai Hu!”

“Scram.” Ye Qiu glanced at the little fox and muttered, “She’s a fox demon.”
“So what?” Longbrow waggled his brows. “Xu Xian wasn’t afraid of a snake, Ning Caichen didn’t mind a ghost. What are you afraid of?”
“You’re handsome, she’s gorgeous. You two are a match made in heaven.”
“Think about it.”
“Shut up,” Ye Qiu growled, glaring at him.
The little fox heard their entire conversation and the corners of her mouth curved upward.
At that moment, Nangong Jingyun laughed coldly. “Sovereign of the Myriad Demon Nation? Instead of staying in the Southern Ridge, you dare come to the Eastern Wilderness? Looks like your time is up.”
“If I kill you today, I’ll be a great hero of the human race. My name will be remembered for eternity!”
The little fox sneered. “You think you can kill this sovereign? Have you lost your mind?”
“Hmph.” Nangong Jingyun snorted, took out a crystalline pill.
Instantly, dense medicinal fragrance spread for thousands of li. Even the ninth heaven was covered in five-coloured auspicious clouds.
She popped the pill into her mouth.
In less than ten seconds, her physical body regenerated, and her aura grew even stronger.
