The little white fox pointed at Ye Qiu and asked Elder Sheep, “Tell me, what is he thinking?”

“What is it?” the little white fox asked.
“Reporting to the Lord, this subordinate cannot see it.” Elder Sheep said.
“You dare fool me?” The little white fox’s face darkened.
“Lord, how would this subordinate dare fool you? I truly cannot see it.” Elder Sheep replied, “Brother Ye’s fortune is too profound. Moreover, he seems protected by some divine object. I cannot discern what he is thinking.”
“Oh?” The little white fox was somewhat surprised. She thought to herself, “Could it be the supreme opportunity from the Mountain of Immortality? Or the Xuanyuan Sword or the Qiankun Cauldron?”
“Lord, if you have no further instructions, this subordinate will withdraw.” Elder Sheep did not dare linger, fearing his loose tongue would say something else inappropriate and cause trouble.

Ye Qiu nodded in agreement. “Alright.”

Once they left, Elder Bear smiled and said, “I did not realise Old Sheep’s Other-Hearts Communication had advanced so much.”
“That fellow dared to peek into my thoughts. Truly courting death.” The little white fox gritted her teeth in anger. Then she added, “If I were not injured, with his cultivation, how could he possibly glimpse my inner thoughts?”
Elder Bear laughed. “Old Sheep is good in every way, except his mouth is sometimes too loose.”

“Must it really come to that…” the little white fox murmured to herself. Whatever shameful thought crossed her mind, her cheeks suddenly flushed red.
