Miracle Doctor Chapter 1760

After the Wuji Heavenly Venerable finished speaking, his primordial spirit vanished with a “whoosh” and returned to his palace to heal.

At the deepest part of Soul-Loss Cliff.

Dragon Bodhisattva’s body was tattered, blood flowing from his mouth. Thinking of the miserable torment inflicted by the Wuji Heavenly Venerable earlier, resentment filled him.

“Hmph, Wuji Heavenly Venerable, just you wait.”

“One day, this old man will tear your body to shreds.”

“There is also Ye Changsheng. I will not let you off.”

At that moment, a ghostly voice suddenly rang in his ear. “Kid, want to learn peerless divine arts?”

“Who?” Dragon Bodhisattva jumped in fright, eyes darting around.

He had been at Soul-Loss Cliff for some time. As far as he knew, besides divine beasts, there was not even a hair here.

“Walk thirty metres to your left.” The ghostly voice rang again.

“Who exactly are you?” Dragon Bodhisattva asked warily.

“Do as I say, and you will see me soon.” The voice said.

Dragon Bodhisattva walked thirty metres left, arriving before a cliff wall.

On the cliff wall was carved a yin-yang taiji diagram the size of a washbasin.

“Where are you?” Dragon Bodhisattva asked again.

“Place your hand on the taiji diagram.” The voice said.

Dragon Bodhisattva cautiously extended his hand and pressed on the yin-yang taiji diagram. The next second, a huge suction force pulled him into the stone wall.

In an instant, Dragon Bodhisattva appeared inside a mountain cave.

This mountain cave was cold and damp, pitch black, like the nine nether hells. Even with Dragon Bodhisattva’s cultivation, his hairs stood on end.

“Keep walking forward.” The voice rang again.

Dragon Bodhisattva slowly advanced, walking several hundred metres along the cave. Suddenly, he stopped. He saw a person.

This person, except for the head, had all flesh stripped away, leaving only a skeleton.

His hair was dishevelled. Limbs bound by iron chains. Through his pipa bones ran two iron chains.

Dragon Bodhisattva noticed the six iron chains were blood-red, covered in runes. Clearly not ordinary chains.

The other ends of the chains were nailed into the stone wall. The person’s appearance was wretched, like a monster.

Clearly, this fellow was imprisoned here.

While Dragon Bodhisattva observed the person, the person suddenly lifted his head and grinned, nearly scaring Dragon Bodhisattva into sitting on the ground.

It was not that Dragon Bodhisattva was timid, but the person’s face was truly too hideous. His nose had been cut off. His face was covered in scars, as if someone had slashed it thousands of times with a dagger.

“Kid, do not fear. I am not a bad person.” The person spoke.

If not a bad person, why imprisoned here?

Dragon Bodhisattva steadied his mind and asked, “Who are you?”

The person said, “You are now that dog’s disciple. By generation, you should call me martial uncle.”

“Martial uncle?” Dragon Bodhisattva was shocked. “You are my master’s senior brother?”

“No, you are lying to me.”

“If you were my martial uncle, why would you be imprisoned here?”

The person said hatefully, “Because I was harmed by that dog Wuji.”

“If not for Wuji’s sneak attack, I would now be the sect master of the Yin-Yang Sect.”

“Think of me, Zhao Yinyang. At three, I entered the Yin-Yang Sect. At six, I broke through to King realm. At eighteen, I entered Tongshen, becoming the Yin-Yang Sect’s first divine son.”

“At twenty-one, I reached Tongshen peak, achieving half-Saint.”

“My cultivation talent and speed were unmatched in the Yin-Yang Sect. Without exaggeration, in the entire Eastern Wilderness, I was a peerless genius.”

“When I achieved half-Saint, Master planned to pass the sect master position to me. But at that time, I was focused solely on becoming Saint and had no interest in the position.”

“Yet after thirty years of bitter cultivation, I still could not break through to Saint realm. Thus, I decided to go out for experience.”

“The day I left the mountain, Master led the entire Yin-Yang Sect to send me off ten li away.”

Speaking of this, bright light flashed in Zhao Yinyang’s murky eyes, but then fierce light appeared.

“A hundred years later, I returned to the Yin-Yang Sect.”

“Preparing to seclude for three years to break through to Saint realm.”

“At that time, that dog Wuji had also broken through to Tongshen realm, sealed as the second divine son of the Yin-Yang Sect.”

“Before my seclusion, Wuji often came to ask me about cultivation issues. At first, I thought he was obsessed with practice and guided him earnestly. Who knew he was using this to get close to me, making me lower my guard.”

“Half a year into my seclusion, that dog thing suddenly came to me one day, saying Master had unintentionally obtained the supreme technique of the Yin-Yang Great Emperor and asked him to pass it to me to help me break through to Saint realm.”

“At that time, I was at a breakthrough bottleneck. Hearing it was the Yin-Yang Great Emperor’s technique and Master asked him to give it to me, I naturally trusted completely.”

“I cultivated according to the technique. Who knew, soon after, not only were my meridians all severed and cultivation destroyed, but I was poisoned with strange toxin, thoroughly becoming a waste.”

“That dog thing Wuji harmed me.”

Zhao Yinyang said angrily, his voice then turning low.

“After emerging from seclusion, Master learned of my condition and spat blood, fainting on the spot. Master was already nearing meditation passing. Struck deeply by my matter, he passed in meditation after a few days.”

“Before passing, he passed the sect master position to Wuji.”

“As for those elders, they believed Master’s death was partly my fault. Plus I was a waste, they unanimously wanted to expel me from the Yin-Yang Sect.”

“Who knew that dog thing played the sympathy card before the elders, saying I was the person he respected most. Even as a waste, he hoped the elders would show mercy and not expel me from the Yin-Yang Sect.”

“The elders thought that dog thing valued sentiment and righteousness, appreciating him even more. Plus he was the palm sect, the elders agreed to his request.”

“But those foolish elders, how could they know that dog thing kept me in the sect to torment and humiliate me.”

“At the same time, he feared if I left the Yin-Yang Sect, in case my cultivation recovered, I would seek revenge on him.”

“Though I was once the first genius, after becoming a waste, even sweepers looked down on me, beating and kicking me. That dog thing Wuji saw it and coldly mocked me. Sect disciples bullied and insulted me without restraint.”

Zhao Yinyang’s mouth revealed a wretched smile. “The cultivation world is like this. When you are a genius, worshipped by thousands. Once a waste, subjected to cold eyes.”

Dragon Bodhisattva asked, “According to you, it should be master who imprisoned you here. Why did he not kill you?”

“Because he dared not.” Zhao Yinyang said, “Before Master’s meditation passing, he had already detected I was harmed by Wuji. But at that time, Master was too weak, unable to kill Wuji, nor could he kill Wuji.”

“After I was wasted, Wuji had the highest cultivation among the younger generation and had ambition. Holding the Yin-Yang Sect was a good choice.”

“Master decided to pass the sect master position to Wuji, but required Wuji to swear a heavenly dao blood oath: never kill me in his life, or die without burial.”

“Precisely because of this, I did not die and was imprisoned here.”
