Miracle Doctor Chapter 1880

An adult true dragon?

Ye Qiu gazed into the distance, his expression growing profound. If they could truly encounter an adult true dragon, it would count as an unexpected stroke of fortune.

“Whether it is an adult true dragon or not, I cannot say for certain, but I sensed extremely powerful dragon might in that aura.” Elder Niu asked, “Master, shall we go over and take a look?”

The Long-Browed Real Person, terrified that Ye Qiu might refuse, urged him. “Little brat, since we have come across it, let us go and see!”

“Adult divine beasts are rare enough. An adult true dragon is an opportunity that comes once in a thousand years.”

“If we could subdue it, we would gain another life-saving trump card for standing against the Yin-Yang Sect in future.”

Ye Qiu knew well that the true dragon stood foremost among the five great divine beasts. An adult true dragon would possess truly formidable strength.

Yet he harboured doubts. Was there really a true dragon here?

“Let us go and see!”

At these words, the Long-Browed Real Person grinned broadly and pressed, “Brother Dali, onward.”

Elder Niu carried the pair towards the region of multicoloured auspicious clouds.

Ye Qiu cautioned Elder Niu. “Be careful.”

“Mm.” Elder Niu acknowledged with a grunt and kept their forms concealed in the void as they advanced towards the multicoloured auspicious clouds.

Though the clouds appeared not overly distant, only after travelling some way did Ye Qiu realise they must be hundreds of li away.

One could thus imagine the sheer scale of those multicoloured auspicious clouds.

As they drew nearer, the dragon might suffusing heaven and earth intensified. Elder Niu slowed and said, “Master, it is indeed dragon might. My bloodline is under suppression.”

“Speaking of which, Brother Dali, this poor Taoist has always wondered why your demon clan has no dragons,” the Long-Browed Real Person asked curiously.

Elder Niu replied, “Dragons are divine beasts, not demons, so our demon clan has none.”

“From ancient times, dragons have been immensely powerful. They form a clan of their own.”

“I once heard the national lord say that at the far east of the cultivation world lies a vast ocean called the Eastern Sea. Deep within the Eastern Sea stands a dragon palace where the true dragon lineage once dwelt.”

“Later, for reasons unknown, the true dragon lineage vanished without trace, and the cultivation world seldom sees members of the dragon clan again.”

“Divine beasts such as true dragons, phoenixes, qilins, and black tortoises possess innately noble bloodlines. They can suppress the bloodlines of our demon clan.”

“At the same realm, our demon clan would struggle to contend against them…”

As he spoke, Elder Niu suddenly halted, gazing deeply ahead.

“What is it?” Ye Qiu asked.

“Master, I have detected the auras of saints,” Elder Niu said gravely. “More than one.”

Ye Qiu’s heart clenched at the news.

“Little brat, could this be a trap laid by the Yin-Yang Sect, deliberately luring us in so they can catch us all in one net?” the Long-Browed Real Person ventured.

“It should not be. Wuji Tianzun is powerful, true, but I do not believe he can still track our whereabouts.”

Ye Qiu continued, “Besides, if several saint powerhouses wished to deal with us, given their strength, they would have no need to set a trap.”

With that, Ye Qiu glanced towards the multicoloured auspicious clouds and went on. “More likely, the dragon might has drawn saint powerhouses here.”

“To rouse even saint powerhouses, it seems there truly is some extraordinary treasure.”

At this point, Elder Niu said, “Master, I sense five saint powerhouses.”

“They are in the valley beneath the multicoloured auspicious clouds.”

“Their auras differ, and they occupy separate positions. I suspect these saint powerhouses come from different factions.”

The Long-Browed Real Person observed, “The factions in the cultivation world that possess saint powerhouses can be counted on one’s fingers.” Ye Qiu asked, “Dali, what else have you sensed?”

Elder Niu replied, “Aside from the five saints, the valley holds many cultivators, with realms ranging from Cave Heaven to peak Channeling Spirit.”

Ye Qiu said, “Dali, can you take us closer to the valley without letting those inside detect us?”

“I can.” As Elder Niu spoke, a sphere of light welled up from his body, forming a glassy dome that enveloped Ye Qiu and the Long-Browed Real Person.

“Master, Taoist, I have completely shielded your auras. I will bring you over.”

Elder Niu carried them onward.

Moments later.

They were almost at the valley. Looking up, the sky brimmed with multicoloured auspicious clouds, steaming and radiant like an immortal realm.

The dragon might was stronger still.

The Long-Browed Real Person, with weaker cultivation and a body less resilient than Ye Qiu’s, began to labour in his breathing, his face turning pale.

Fortunately, Elder Niu intervened, laying a restriction to safeguard him.

Soon afterwards, Elder Niu stopped once more.

Concealed in the void, they looked down and saw hundreds of cultivators gathered in the valley, standing in five distinct groups.

From the attire of those cultivators, Ye Qiu identified their origins at a glance.

“They are from the Yin-Yang Sect, the Heaven-Mending Sect, and the three great holy lands,” Ye Qiu said.

“Damn it, all enemies!” The Long-Browed Real Person grew somewhat flustered, feeling very much like a lamb among wolves.

Ye Qiu, however, remained composed. He noted that the valley was extraordinarily vast, larger than a city. At its very centre upon the ground lay a circular formation.

The formation radiated brilliant golden light, linking heaven and earth, suffused with terrifying dragon might.

The members of the five great factions all fixed their eyes upon the formation, greed burning in their gazes.

Ye Qiu glanced briefly at the formation, then shifted his attention to the people from the various sects.

He observed that the Yin-Yang Sect had the smallest contingent, only two individuals.

A youth and an elder.

The youth was tall and slender, clad in a golden robe, crowned with gold, refined and godlike, exceedingly handsome, exuding an air of lofty arrogance.

The elder followed behind the youth. Clearly, of the Yin-Yang Sect pair, the youth held primacy.

Elder Niu said, “Of those two from the Yin-Yang Sect, the elder is at saint realm. The youth is at peak Channeling Spirit, having entered the half-saint stage, only half a step from true sainthood.”

That youth is a half-saint?

Ye Qiu narrowed his eyes, quietly speculating on the youth’s identity.

“So young and already a half-saint, combined with the arrogance he displays, that fellow is very likely a divine son of the Yin-Yang Sect.”

“The Third Divine Son Song Que and the Second Divine Son Su Wuming are dead, so this youth is probably the First Divine Son.”

A chill flashed across Ye Qiu’s eyes. Then his gaze swept over the other factions.

He saw that each of the remaining factions numbered around two hundred.

At the forefront of each group stood an elder who had laid restrictions to shield the lower-realm disciples behind.

Evidently, these elders were all saint powerhouses.

Moreover, beside several of the elders stood a handful of young men and women, each imposing and haughty, clearly geniuses of exalted status within their sects.

Suddenly, a wild notion arose in Ye Qiu’s mind.

“Since they are all enemies anyway, why not simply deploy emperor fire and eliminate them all at once?”
