Miracle Doctor Chapter 1925

“Divine Son, everyone from the other forces has gone in. Shall we enter too?”

A disciple from the Taichu Holy Land asked.

Li Jian sighed. “Since we are here, we might as well go in.”

“Though the Dragon Emperor inheritance is not fated for me, I still want to see whose hands it will ultimately fall into.”

The disciple who had spoken complained, “If the Divine Son had not used the Divine Summoning Technique, how could they have broken the grand array on the mountain? In truth, no matter who obtains the Dragon Emperor inheritance, the one they should thank most is the Divine Son.”

Another disciple agreed, “Yes. If the Divine Son had not severely depleted his vital energy, perhaps the inheritance might have ended up in his hands.”

“No need to complain. This was my own choice,” Li Jian said calmly. “Besides, though the Dragon Emperor inheritance is not for me, each of them gave me a treasure.”

“This trip has not been in vain.”

At this point, Li Jian struggled to his feet. “Come, let us go in and see.”

He had taken only two steps when his legs trembled and he nearly fell.

The two disciples behind him reacted swiftly, rushing forward to support him, one on each side.

“This time the consumption was too great. After returning, I will need three months of secluded recovery to fully heal.”

Li Jian instructed the disciples of the Taichu Holy Land, “Now that my vital energy is severely injured and I have withdrawn from contending for the Dragon Emperor inheritance, remember this: do not under any circumstances clash with people from other forces, or I will be unable to protect you.”

“Our only purpose in entering the cave is to witness whose hands the Dragon Emperor inheritance ultimately falls into.”

“Beyond that, touch nothing else.”

“Especially upon seeing treasures, harbour no thoughts of contending for them.”

“Understood?”

The disciples replied in unison, “Understood!”

“Go.” At Li Jian’s command, the two disciples supported him as he entered the cave.

The remaining disciples of the Taichu Holy Land followed behind.

Soon, no one remained visible outside the Golden Mountain.

It finally grew quiet.

About a quarter of an hour later, golden specks of light suddenly appeared in the air outside the Golden Mountain.

These golden specks resembled tiny stars, radiating brilliant light. They were densely packed, countless in number.

Scattered everywhere, they gradually began to gather.

A little while later.

All the golden specks fused together. In the next moment, they formed a primordial spirit.

Ye Qiu!

Thirty seconds later.

A physical body materialised out of thin air.

Ye Qiu was restored to his original state. He opened his eyes.

The instant he did so, electric light flashed in his pupils, startling to behold.

“Now do you understand why I did not save you?” Old Nine’s voice sounded in Ye Qiu’s ear.

“I misunderstood you. However,” Ye Qiu changed tone, “as my guardian, you actually watched me die without helping. That is truly detestable.”

Old Nine laughed. “If I had saved you, could you have died once?”

“If you had not died once, could you have gained such benefits?”

“Tsk, tsk, tsk. Worthy of the immortal Longevity Body, indestructible and eternal. It rivals my own constitution.”

“Old Nine, what is your constitution?” Ye Qiu asked.

“That is a secret. I won’t tell you for now,” Old Nine said mysteriously.

“Forget it if you won’t say,” Ye Qiu replied. “If next time I face a life-and-death crisis and you act like today, beware: I will suppress you with the Qiankun Cauldron.”

Old Nine said impatiently, “Enough. Don’t act ungrateful after gaining an advantage. I’m tired. I’m going to rest.”

“By the way, that kid from the Yin-Yang Sect suffered heavenly retribution, but he mastered a secret technique and escaped calamity at the cost of one dao body.”

“Without that technique, he would long be dead.”

“Your destiny is so profound that whoever acts against you meets no good end.”

“Also, that old daoist was annoying. I knocked him out and tossed him into the Qiankun bag.” Having said this, Old Nine lay back into the vermilion blood coffin.

Ye Qiu smiled.

Though he had died once, the gains were immense.

The moment his primordial spirit reformed, a supreme technique appeared in his mind: the Longevity Scripture.

The Longevity Scripture had seven realms in total. Cultivated to the extreme, one could remain eternal through the ages, immortal and undying.

Though Ye Qiu possessed the Longevity Body and the Longevity Scripture was useless to him, he could impart it to others.

He thought of his confidantes left in the secular world: Lin Jingzhi, Bai Bing, Qian Shanxue, and the others. If he taught them the Longevity Scripture, they would not only retain eternal youth but also achieve immortality.

“It seems the Xuanyuan Sword, the golden coffin, and Old Nine deliberately chose not to save me in the critical moment, intending for me to die once and obtain the Longevity Scripture.”

“The old fellow always said I have the Longevity Body, indestructible and eternal. I did not believe it before, but after today, I do.”

Thinking this, Ye Qiu pulled the Long-Browed Real Person’s primordial spirit from the Qiankun bag, slapped him twice across the face, and the Long-Browed Real Person immediately woke.

“Little brat, you’re not dead?”

Seeing Ye Qiu completely unharmed, the Long-Browed Real Person excitedly prepared to plant two kisses on him.

“Get lost!” Ye Qiu dodged and shouted, “Hurry and restore your physical body.”

The Long-Browed Real Person quickly repaired his body. After a while, it was restored.

“I knew it. Little brat, with your great fortune and resilient life, you could never die easily,” the Long-Browed Real Person chuckled. “By the way, little brat, I saw your primordial spirit shatter with my own eyes. How are you completely fine?”

“Could it be due to the Longevity Body?”

“You know yet still ask?” Ye Qiu said. “Fortunately, my constitution is special, or today I truly would have perished.”

“It was my carelessness that led to Qi Tian’s ambush.”

“And it implicated you.”

The Long-Browed Real Person said, “This is not your fault. Mainly, we were deceived by Qi Tian. Who would have thought this fellow spouts benevolence and morality while being a sinister and treacherous hypocrite.”

“I must say, his acting skills are impressive. He fooled not only us but everyone present.”

“With acting like that, it’s a waste he doesn’t go to the secular world and win an Oscar for best actor.”

“Little brat, before you kill Qi Tian, remember to hold him down. I want to smash his head with a brick.”

A chill flashed in Ye Qiu’s eyes.

“Qi Tian, I had intended to leave you a whole corpse, but since you are ruthless and unrighteous, you cannot blame me.”

Thinking this, Ye Qiu said, “Old thing, let us enter the cave and see.”

The Long-Browed Real Person asked, “Do we still need to disguise ourselves?”

“Of course,” Ye Qiu replied. “Disguise will yield unexpected effects.”

Then, they disguised themselves again as Dragon Bodhisattva and servant, striding into the cave.

This time, his goals were…

To seize treasures.

To kill.
