Ye Qiu threw the woman’s corpse onto the ground.
“Damn it, why did you kill her?” Long Ye exclaimed loudly. “She was so beautiful. If you were going to kill her, you should have at least let me have some fun with her first!”
Ye Qiu turned to Long Ye and said, “Imagine that dwarf constantly pressing down on her belly and squirming around. Would you still be interested?”
“But she was so pretty. It’s such a waste to kill her.”
“If you’re really that interested, you could still have your fun with a corpse, couldn’t you?”
Long Ye stared at Ye Qiu in disbelief, and after a long pause, he finally said, “You’re really disgusting.”
Ye Qiu ignored Long Ye and turned his gaze to the bald dwarf.
Seeing his wife killed, the bald dwarf’s eyes instantly turned bloodshot. He pulled out a dagger and charged at Ye Qiu, letting out a hysterical roar: “I’m going to kill you, ahhhh…”
Boom!
Ye Qiu threw a punch.
Although the bald dwarf was furious, he hadn’t lost his senses. He quickly crouched down, dodging Ye Qiu’s fist, and then thrust his dagger straight at Ye Qiu’s heart.
However, the dagger only pierced through Ye Qiu’s clothes, failing to penetrate his skin.
The bald dwarf, unwilling to give up, gripped the hilt with both hands and used all his strength to push the blade in, but the result was the same. Ye Qiu was like a man of steel—no matter how hard the dwarf tried, the dagger couldn’t pierce him.
At that moment, Ye Qiu spread his fingers and reached for the bald dwarf’s throat.
The dwarf swiftly dodged to the side, trying to circle behind Ye Qiu to deliver a fatal blow.
His reflexes were quick, and though he managed to avoid his throat being grabbed, he was still a fraction too slow.
Crack!
Ye Qiu’s fingers clamped down on the bald dwarf’s right shoulder.
Instantly, the dwarf felt as if his shoulder had been caught in a vice. He quickly released his right hand, letting the dagger fall to the ground, but in the same motion, his left hand shot out, lightning-fast, and grabbed the dagger. He then slashed it fiercely across the back of Ye Qiu’s hand.
“Clang!”
A shower of sparks flew out.
Ye Qiu’s hand remained unscathed, but the bald dwarf’s dagger now had two notches in it.
“What kind of monster is this guy?” the bald dwarf thought in shock. With his left hand still gripping the dagger, he thrust it toward Ye Qiu’s crotch.
You think you’re invincible?
Let’s see how tough you really are!
A sinister grin spread across the bald dwarf’s face. He refused to believe that even that part of Ye Qiu’s body was indestructible.
Tang Fei, witnessing this, shouted in alarm, “Ye Qiu, watch out—”
But Ye Qiu had already anticipated the bald dwarf’s move. As the dwarf thrust the dagger toward his crotch, Ye Qiu abruptly raised his knee.
“Crash!”
His knee shattered the dwarf’s wrist, sending the dagger flying. Seizing the opportunity, Ye Qiu’s knee continued its upward trajectory, slamming violently into the dwarf’s chin.
Boom!
The bones in the dwarf’s jaw shattered instantly.
“Crack!”
Blood sprayed out.
Then, Ye Qiu’s hand, still gripping the dwarf’s shoulder, slid down quickly, seizing his wrist. With a powerful swing of his right arm, Ye Qiu lifted the dwarf off the ground.
In the next second, the dwarf’s body was flung into the air and then slammed mercilessly onto the ground.
“Thud!”
The dwarf’s face made intimate contact with the floor, instantly deforming. His nose shattered, and blood gushed from his mouth.
It was brutal!
With that single move, Ye Qiu had completely incapacitated the bald dwarf.
And this was only the beginning.
Ye Qiu’s hand still gripped the dwarf’s wrist. He tightened his grip, lifted the dwarf again, and then slammed him back onto the ground.
Once.
Twice.
Three times.
“Crash!”
“Crack!”
“Thud!”
The restaurant echoed with the sounds of violence, and everyone present felt a chill run down their spines. They stared at Ye Qiu, their eyes filled with terror.
This man was too violent!
After slamming the dwarf over a dozen times, Ye Qiu finally stopped.
By now, the restaurant’s floor was shattered, and a deep crater had formed where the dwarf’s body had been repeatedly smashed.
“Cough, cough…”
The dwarf coughed up blood continuously, trying to crawl out of the crater. But with most of his bones shattered, he had no strength left in his body.
“You’re still alive? I underestimated you.”
Ye Qiu walked over and stomped on the back of the dwarf’s neck. With a sickening “crack,” the neck bones snapped.
The dwarf’s body twitched a few times before falling completely still.
Ye Qiu walked up to the restaurant owner and asked, “I damaged your table and floor. How much do I owe you?”
“No need, no need…” The owner, a middle-aged man who had witnessed the entire ordeal, was too terrified to ask for compensation.
“Don’t be afraid. I’m a good person.”
As soon as Ye Qiu said this, everyone in the restaurant silently cursed him in their hearts. How could someone so brutal claim to be a good person? Did he think they were idiots?
“Really, no need to pay. Please, just leave. The police will be here soon.” The restaurant owner was on the verge of tears, desperately hoping this terrifying man would leave.
Ye Qiu pulled out a thick wad of cash from his pocket and tossed it in front of the owner. Then, turning to the crowd, he announced, “Everyone, don’t be afraid. I really am a good person.”
“The man and woman I just killed were international assassins. They had many lives on their hands and were wanted criminals.”
“I was ordered to eliminate them.”
Ye Qiu then walked over to a group of thugs and warned them, “When the police arrive, you better confess everything. If anyone tries to run, your fate will be the same as those two assassins.”
With that, he signaled to Tang Fei and Long Ye, and the three of them left the restaurant.
Only after they had driven away did the people in the restaurant dare to move.
“Boss, what do we do now?” one of the thugs asked their leader.
“Didn’t you hear what that guy said? We stay here, wait for the police, and confess everything.”
“But boss, if we confess, we’re definitely going to jail for a few years.”
“Better a few years in jail than dead. You saw what that guy was capable of. If we run and he catches us, none of us will make it out alive.” The leader sighed. “We’re done for this time. Who knew we’d run into such a monster?”
…
The jeep sped down the road.
Inside, Long Ye was still lamenting the woman’s death. “Ye Qiu, you really shouldn’t have killed her. You should’ve left her to me. Maybe after some… re-education, she could’ve turned over a new leaf.”
“Even if she turned over a new leaf, it wouldn’t erase the crimes she committed in the past,” Tang Fei retorted, glancing at Long Ye. “That woman almost stabbed you in the throat, and you’re still thinking about her? You’re not just sick—you’re seriously messed up.”
Long Ye glared at him. “You’re the one who’s messed up.”
“Enough, both of you. Let’s focus on getting to our destination.”
Ye Qiu leaned back in his seat, his mind racing. Two groups of enemies had already appeared. When would the third wave show up?
