Qian Duoduo led Ye Qiu through the lobby with ease, into the elevator, and up to the ninth floor.
As soon as the elevator doors opened, Ye Qiu saw two rows of girls standing outside.
Each one was tall, dressed in low-cut uniforms that revealed long legs, their faces beaming with sweet smiles.
“Good evening, boss! Welcome~”
As Qian Duoduo stepped out with Ye Qiu, the two rows of girls bowed in unison, a wave of curves and dazzling white skin catching the eye.
“Xiao Tao, it’s been a while. Did you miss me?” Qian Duoduo grinned cheekily, wrapping an arm around one girl’s slim waist.
“Brother Qian, what took you so long? I’ve been dying to see you,” the girl pouted playfully, feigning a sulky tone.
Qian Duoduo kissed her on the lips and laughed, “I was off having fun in the capital for a bit. Came here just for you today. Set things up for us.”
“Who’s this handsome guy?” The girl glanced at Ye Qiu, asking Qian Duoduo.
“My cousin,” Qian Duoduo replied, lowering his voice. “Get the prettiest girl here for him—full service. Money’s no issue.”
“Got it!”
The girl led them to a private room, then left to fetch someone.
“You seem pretty familiar with this place,” Ye Qiu remarked, settling onto the sofa.
He was a bit surprised. He hadn’t expected this lovesick fool to be such a seasoned player.
“It’s alright. I’ve been here a few times,” Qian Duoduo said with a grin. “Cousin, when the girls come, pick whichever one you like.”
Ye Qiu had no interest. “What did it feel like when you kissed that girl’s mouth just now?”
“Like eating a piece of chocolate—sweet and fragrant,” Qian Duoduo said, licking his lips with relish.
Ye Qiu pressed, “Have you ever thought that maybe, before you kissed her, her mouth might’ve been on another man’s—”
“Cousin, stop! That’s gross,” Qian Duoduo cut in hastily. “Tonight’s about relaxing. Go wild later.”
“Who owns this club? Do you know?” Ye Qiu asked suddenly.
From the moment he’d entered the building, he’d been quietly observing. The place was packed with security—both visible guards and hidden ones—at least a hundred in total.
Even inside the club, he’d noticed that some of the hostesses, including Xiao Tao who greeted Qian Duoduo, had martial arts training.
Clearly, the club’s owner was no ordinary figure.
“Cousin, you don’t know?” Qian Duoduo said, then slapped his forehead with a laugh. “Oh, right, I forgot—you’re new to Suhang. Of course you wouldn’t know who owns this club.”
“Let me tell you, the boss here is a big deal. And you’ve met him.”
“Guess who?”
Ye Qiu’s eyes narrowed. “Sun Wu?”
“Smart,” Qian Duoduo confirmed. “Not only is this club Sun Wu’s, but this whole building is the Green Wolf Gang’s headquarters.”
What the hell—this is Sun Wu’s den!
Ye Qiu’s face darkened, his voice icy. “I just slapped Sun Wu this afternoon, and you bring me to Green Wolf Gang headquarters tonight? Qian Duoduo, are you tired of living?”
Qian Duoduo chuckled nervously. “Cousin, don’t worry. You scared Sun Wu off—he won’t dare touch you now.”
“Besides, the Platinum Club is super safe.”
“Sun Wu’s said before: friends or enemies, anyone who comes to the Platinum Club to spend money is off-limits for trouble.”
“It’s been open in Suhang for years, and its booming business has a lot to do with Sun Wu’s reputation.”
“Relax—no one, not even Sun Wu, will mess with you here…”

Before Qian Duoduo could finish, the door to the private room burst open. A figure flew in from outside, crashing onto the glass coffee table.
With a loud crash, the table shattered.
“So this is your ‘special service’? Definitely different from other clubs,” Ye Qiu said with a cold laugh.
Qian Duoduo looked awkward. He’d just said no one dared cause trouble here, and now this.
“Cousin, it’s gotta be a misunderstanding.”
He glanced down and realised the person who’d smashed the table was Xiao Tao.
She was covered in blood and unconscious.
“Didn’t Xiao Tao go to get girls for us? How’d this happen?” Qian Duoduo muttered, puzzled.
Just then, Ye Qiu heard panicked screams echoing from the corridor outside.
He strode to the door and peeked out. The hallway was packed with people running in terror toward the exit, like they were fleeing for their lives.
What’s going on?
Puzzled, Ye Qiu closed the door and knelt beside Xiao Tao, quickly checking her injuries.
“She’s fine—just a few broken ribs. She won’t die,” Ye Qiu said.
“Damn it, who did this? How could they be so brutal to a helpless girl?” Qian Duoduo cursed.
“She’s no helpless girl,” Ye Qiu replied.
Qian Duoduo blinked. “What do you mean?”
Ye Qiu ignored him, swiftly tapping a few points on Xiao Tao’s body. Moments later, she stirred awake.
Seeing Ye Qiu and Qian Duoduo, she gasped, “Brother Qian, you’ve gotta get out of here—it’s dangerous!”
“Xiao Tao, who hurt you like this? What’s happening?” Qian Duoduo asked urgently.
Her face twisted with fear. “I was about to get girls for you when a group stormed in from outside. They attacked everyone—my sisters got hurt bad.”
“Some guests were slashed too.”
“They’re ruthless and crazy skilled. No one can stop them.”
“They’re heading for the thirty-third floor.”
The thirty-third floor?
Ye Qiu and Qian Duoduo exchanged a look, both confused.
“What’s on the thirty-third floor?” Qian Duoduo asked.
“It’s Fifth Master’s office,” Xiao Tao said.
Ye Qiu pieced it together instantly—this group was after Sun Wu.
Xiao Tao added, “A few days ago, I overheard the girls saying Dragon Gate’s planning to sweep the land, and Suhang’s their next target. I think these people might be from Dragon Gate.”
Ye Qiu shook his head. “Not likely. Dragon Gate operates with rules—they don’t harm innocents.”
Xiao Tao trembled. “If not Dragon Gate, I can’t imagine who’d dare storm Green Wolf Gang headquarters like this.”
“They’re killing like they’re possessed—pure demons.”
“I’ve never seen anything so terrifying.”
A sudden thought struck Ye Qiu, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.
“Duoduo, let’s go check it out.”
With that, he turned and headed out of the room.
