Miracle Doctor Chapter 963

Boom!

Suddenly, a figure flew in from outside, crashing to the ground in front of them.

It was Xiao Zhan!

Xiao Zhan lay on the floor, clutching his abdomen, his face twisted in agony.

“Little Zhan!” Xiao Yiren cried out, about to help him up.

Before she could crouch down, Xiao Zhan spat out a mouthful of blood.

Pfft!

The blood stained Xiao Yiren’s canvas shoes.

Then, he slipped into unconsciousness.

Xiao Yiren was pale with fear, tears streaming down her face. “Little Zhan, what’s wrong? Don’t scare me!”

Ye Qiu knelt down and glanced at Xiao Zhan.

He could tell at once that Xiao Zhan had suffered severe internal injuries.

Not only that, both of Xiao Zhan’s arms were broken.

“Yiren, don’t worry. Xiao Zhan will be fine. I’ll treat him, and he’ll be alright.”

Ye Qiu acted quickly, pressing several acupoints on Xiao Zhan’s body.

Then, he took Xiao Zhan’s right arm, gently twisting it. With a “crack,” the broken bone was set.

Ye Qiu repeated the process with Xiao Zhan’s left arm, realigning the bones.

After finishing, Ye Qiu pressed a finger to Xiao Zhan’s forehead.

Instantly, internal energy flowed from his fingertip into Xiao Zhan’s body.

Moments later, Xiao Zhan woke up. Seeing Ye Qiu, his face filled with guilt, he said, “Boss, I’m sorry…”

Ye Qiu already knew what had happened.

“Don’t talk. Rest now. I’ll handle the rest.”

Ye Qiu helped Xiao Zhan to his feet, handed him to Xiao Yiren, and turned his gaze to the flower shop’s entrance.

Soon, a group of people walked in.

Leading them was none other than Young Master Huang, whose hands Xiao Zhan had broken earlier.

Behind him followed a dozen bodyguards.

Ye Qiu barely glanced at the bodyguards. He knew even if they attacked together, they couldn’t withstand three moves from Xiao Zhan.

Xiao Zhan had made rapid progress recently, his strength nearly matching Qilin’s.

Clearly, the one who injured Xiao Zhan was a true expert!

Ye Qiu scanned the group, his eyes landing on someone beside Young Master Huang.

An old man stood there, in his early sixties, lean-faced with a buzz cut, dressed in a dark grey Mao suit. His back was ramrod straight, exuding an imposing aura.

“Did you injure my man?” Ye Qiu asked.

Before the old man could answer, Young Master Huang spoke up, “Elder Yang, he’s the one.”

“He’s the one who ordered his lackey to break my hands.”

“Elder Yang, kill him for me, and I’ll give you a million afterwards.”

The old man’s face darkened, his voice cold, “Do I look like I need a million?”

Young Master Huang realised his words had offended the old man and quickly smiled apologetically, “Elder Yang, you’re one of Young Master Ye’s men. Of course, you don’t lack money.”

“I just wanted to show my gratitude.”

“How about this: if you kill that kid for me, I’ll give you five million. Don’t think it’s too little—it’s my way of showing respect.”

The old man’s expression softened slightly. “We live in a society of law now. Killing is a capital crime.”

Young Master Huang cursed inwardly, *Stop pretending. I know you’ve killed before.*

“Elder Yang is right. It’s a lawful society, and killing is a crime. How about this: you don’t need to kill him, just cripple him.”

Young Master Huang thought to himself, once Ye Qiu was crippled, he could exact revenge however he pleased.

“When the time comes, I’ll take that blind girl right in front of him. Just thinking about it gets me excited.”

Young Master Huang glanced at Xiao Yiren.

His eyes lit up.

Xiao Yiren had changed into a new outfit, her hair draped over her shoulders, looking utterly gentle.

“These quiet-looking women are wild once they let loose. I like it.”

Young Master Huang licked his lips, itching to devour Xiao Yiren right then and there.

Ye Qiu looked at the old man and asked, “You injured my man?”

“Indeed, it was I,” the old man said proudly. “Kid, you dared to have Young Master Huang’s hands broken. Quite bold!”

“Bullying others and causing trouble—he deserved it,” Ye Qiu said. “Who are you?”

From the moment he saw the old man, Ye Qiu sensed his formidable strength. Such a person couldn’t be a nobody.

The old man replied, “I am Yang Shunqin.”

Ye Qiu frowned. The name was unfamiliar.

Seeing Ye Qiu’s ignorance, the old man added, “Ninth on the Dragon List!”

Oh?

Ye Qiu was mildly surprised. This old man was the ninth-ranked expert on the Dragon List?

It made sense. Only someone of that calibre could have injured Xiao Zhan so badly.

At that moment, Young Master Huang jumped forward, sneering darkly, “Bastard, weren’t you all high and mighty? Try acting tough in front of Elder Yang now.”

“Damn it, you broke my hands. Today, I’ll not only break your hands and feet but make you wish you were dead.”

“A nobody like you dares to cross me? I’ll show you how to spell death!”

Ye Qiu seemed to ignore Young Master Huang, looking at Yang Shunqin calmly. “You have two choices.”

“One, kowtow and apologise to my brother.”

“Two, I’ll destroy your cultivation!”

The old man’s eyes widened, staring at Ye Qiu as if he were insane.

“Destroy my cultivation? You? Hahaha…”

The old man burst into laughter.

Young Master Huang and his bodyguards joined in.

“Kid, talking big won’t help you now.”

“Do you even know who you’re talking to?”

“Elder Yang is the ninth-ranked master on the Dragon List. You, destroy his cultivation? You’re courting death!”

Young Master Huang mocked Ye Qiu.

The bodyguards chimed in:

“I’ve heard a lot of jokes, but this is the funniest one this year.”

“Still spouting nonsense when death is near. Who gave you the guts?”

“This kid’s brain must be waterlogged.”

“Idiot!”

Ye Qiu casually plucked a green leaf from a nearby flowerpot.

Young Master Huang taunted again, “Kid, don’t you love playing hero? Fine, once Elder Yang cripples you, I’ll take that blind girl right in front of you. Let you enjoy the show, heh heh…”

Ye Qiu flicked his finger.

Swish!

The thin leaf turned into a streak of light, slicing across Young Master Huang’s face.

Pfft.

A wound appeared, blood spraying.

“Ah!” Young Master Huang screamed like a slaughtered pig.

The old man’s expression shifted slightly. He stared at Ye Qiu, his voice cold, “I misjudged you. Young as you are, you’re an internal martial arts expert.”

“But you’re too young.”

“With your skills, you can’t destroy my cultivation.”

The old man rolled up his sleeves, smiling at Ye Qiu. “Kid, want to try and see how many moves you can last against me?”

Ye Qiu’s face showed disdain. “To destroy you, one move is enough!”
