Ye Qiu was unaware that a deadly plot against him was quietly unfolding. At that moment, he was dining in a restaurant with Xiao Yiren and Xiao Zhan.
“Boss, I don’t think that Huang guy will let this go,” Xiao Zhan said.
Ye Qiu replied, “If Huang’s smart, he won’t come after me again. Otherwise, he’s heading for a dead end.”
Xiao Zhan advised, “Boss, that guy’s from the Huang family in Beijing. Better not kill him, or you’ll be in trouble.”

“Does the boss not have hands?” Xiao Zhan’s words made Xiao Yiren’s face redden further.
He continued, “Sis, we’ve lived together for years, and this is the first time I’ve seen you serve a guy food. Well done, keep it up.”
Xiao Yiren, embarrassed, glared at Xiao Zhan, “Shut up. No one thinks you’re mute.”
Xiao Zhan grinned and focused on his meal.
Xiao Yiren kept serving Ye Qiu food, making him a bit uneasy.
“Yiren, eat your own food. Don’t worry about me,” Ye Qiu said.
Xiao Yiren smiled sweetly, “It’s fine, I like serving.”
Xiao Zhan looked up, “Sis, since when did you have this hobby? How’d I miss it?”
“Shut up,” Xiao Yiren glared again, then stole a glance at Ye Qiu. Seeing his calm expression, her embarrassment eased slightly.
