Feeling a bit let down, she looked around but saw no sign of Ye Chen, and Song Ruyu was nowhere to be found either.
Somewhat annoyed, she thought to herself, “Could it be that last night the two of them got together and left me out? Does Mr. Ye really dislike me that much?”
Just as she was brooding, Ye Chen’s door suddenly opened from the inside.
As Ye Chen stepped out and saw Tawana awake, he smiled and asked, “Tawana, how did you sleep last night? Alright?”
Tawana replied awkwardly, “Mr. Ye, I slept… alright… By the way, where’s Miss Song?”
Ye Chen said casually, “Miss Song is probably resting in her room. Last night, she got as drunk as you did, so I sent her back to her room. I didn’t send you back mainly to avoid any misunderstandings if others saw.”
