This group gathered together, chatting and laughing as they headed towards the city centre. They frolicked nonstop along the way, looking no different from ordinary children.
After leaving this street, the few of them found a crossroads. At the side of the road on a bench, they shared a pack of cigarettes. From twelve or thirteen years old to eighteen or nineteen, everyone dangled a cigarette, puffing out clouds of smoke.
The leader, Bruce Brown, hid the baseball bat behind his backside. His hands rested on the backrests of the benches on both sides, squinting as he scanned the people passing around, seemingly searching for prey.
Ye Chen said to Chen Zekai, “Old Chen, park the car opposite them. I will go and meet them.”
Chen Zekai asked, “Young Master, you are going alone?”

The man still tried to reason with them, “We swore citizenship last year, we are legal Australian citizens!”
“Fuck you, Korean bastard. Even if you have citizenship, you are still a Korean bastard! You are Australia’s parasite!” Bruce Brown spat at the man, then immediately said to the few beside him, “Beat him for me!”
With that, he swung the baseball bat, about to smash it at the other party.
