Son Of The Dragon Chapter 5512

Above the wasteland, the wind and sand continued to rage unchecked.

The fierce gale carried grains of sand, like furious wild beasts, charging wildly across the vast, boundless expanse of the wasteland.

That howling wind sounded like the roar of ancient colossal beasts, instilling awe and fear in the heart.

Chen Ping and Hu Mazi pressed on one after the other, struggling forward in the gale.

Their footsteps sank deep and shallow into the sand with each step, requiring immense effort to advance even a little.

The relentless wind battered their faces, the sand grains pricking their skin like needles, yet they continued resolutely towards the front.

The two had been walking continuously for several days, yet they had found no clues whatsoever about the Six Temples of the Divine Hall.

In this endless wasteland, they were like two insignificant grains of sand, tossed about at the whim of fate.

This stretch of wasteland in the Seventh Heaven was like a forsaken land, with spiritual energy so thin it was terrifying, and the environment utterly harsh.

No wonder two groups could fight desperately over a mere immortal spring.

Chen Ping had no idea how vast this wasteland truly was, or when they might escape it. Attempting to fly out felt as if some force were dragging them back, demanding vast amounts of spiritual power.

With scant resources left to replenish themselves, under no immediate threat, it was best to conserve what little they could.

“Chen Ping, we’ve been walking for days now, and we haven’t seen a single soul, let alone the Six Temples of the Divine Hall.”

Hu Mazi wiped the sand from his face, speaking with some helplessness.

His face was etched with exhaustion and anxiety, his already rough skin now even more cracked from days of assault by the wind and sand.

Chen Ping halted his steps, his gaze sweeping over the endless wasteland around them, his brows furrowing slightly.

He wore a simple white robe, which made him appear exceptionally steady amid the gale.

By his reckoning, the Six Temples of the Divine Hall, as a major power, should not be difficult to locate.

After all, such a formidable force would surely leave some traces behind.

Yet the reality was that they had discovered not a single clue, as if the Six Temples of the Divine Hall were a mere illusory legend, non-existent in this world.

“It seems the location of the Six Temples of the Divine Hall is truly concealed, or perhaps the cultivators here are all tight-lipped about it.”

Chen Ping said gravely. His voice was somewhat muffled in the gale, yet it carried an unquestionable resolve.

Over these past few days, they had encountered a handful of scattered cultivators.

Those cultivators had mostly hurried along, as if fleeing from something.

But whenever the Six Temples of the Divine Hall were mentioned, they either shook their heads claiming ignorance or fled in panic, as if the name itself were some taboo.

Once, they met an elderly man who seemed relatively amiable. As soon as Chen Ping broached the subject of the Six Temples of the Divine Hall, the old man’s face turned ashen white, his lips quivering, unable to utter a word. He merely waved his hands frantically before turning and running, as if pursued by a flood or ferocious beast.

“This won’t do, we need to find another way.”

Hu Mazi said, a touch of urgency in his tone.

He knew Chen Ping required vast quantities of immortal stones to break through his cultivation, but now they could not even catch a glimpse of the Six Temples of the Divine Hall, much less obtain the stones.

He felt a secret anxiety within, thinking that if they continued searching without direction, Chen Ping’s breakthrough would surely be delayed.

And the souls of his clansmen, the longer it took to find them, the more complications would arise.

Just as the two were at a loss, a woman’s cry for help suddenly echoed from the distance, shattering the wasteland’s silence.

“Help! Let me go! Who are you people?”

That voice was clear and urgent, laced with evident fear and struggle.

Amid the gale’s howl, the sound was faint, yet it reached Chen Ping and Hu Mazi’s ears distinctly.
