In the grand hall of the Earth Fiend Alliance, three elders sat on either side. At the main seat sat a young woman.
The young woman wore white robes, her long black hair draped over her shoulders. Her fair face and red lips made her strikingly alluring.
Though the woman appeared young, the elders looked at her with full respect.
“Alliance Leader, Lord Soul Devourer choosing our Earth Fiend Alliance is our honour. Lord Soul Devourer has recuperated for so long now. He must be close to recovery. Once Lord Soul Devourer recovers, our Earth Fiend Alliance will be the top organisation in the Ninth Heaven.”
One elder said.
“Indeed. Lord Soul Devourer tasked us with capturing that fellow called Chen Ping. Elder Fu must have him by now.”
“I truly wonder what this Chen Ping is about, to make Lord Soul Devourer think of him so persistently.”
The other two elders chimed in agreement!
But the woman did not speak. Instead, her deep eyes gazed out the window. She wondered if Lord Soul Devourer choosing to recuperate in their Earth Fiend Alliance was right or wrong, an opportunity or a disaster.
“Alliance Leader, Elder Fu and the others are back…”
At that moment, an Earth Fiend Alliance disciple entered and reported.
“Let him in…” The woman said.
Soon, Elder Fu entered the grand hall with the four black shadow figures.
As soon as they entered, everyone was shocked.
Elder Fu was now in soul form, and one of the black shadow figures had lost an arm.
“Elder Fu, what happened? Was that Chen Ping so formidable?” One elder asked!
Elder Fu shook his head. “No.”
“Then what is it? How did you end up like this?”
“Where is your flesh body? Who destroyed it?”
The other two elders asked in shock as well.
For a Heavenly Immortal Realm cultivator’s flesh body to be destroyed was a major event.
Though this was the Ninth Heaven, Heavenly Immortal Realm cultivators were still rare and countable. Not everyone could reach the Heavenly Immortal Realm.
Aside from a few ancient sects in the Ninth Heaven, other sects rarely had even one Heavenly Immortal Realm cultivator.

The woman shouted coldly, and the three elders immediately closed their mouths.
“Elder Fu, tell us exactly what happened.” The woman asked, her face sombre.
Elder Fu nodded and recounted the entire incident in detail to everyone.
