Blood kept gushing from his wounds, dyeing his robes crimson.
“Young Master Chen!” Liu Xue watched from the side, her heart burning with anxiety. Tears welled in her eyes, but she forced herself to hold back from intervening and not intervene.
At this point, Chen Ping had reached his absolute limit, yet the conviction in his heart only grew stronger.
He thought of Wan Jianxing. He thought of how this Divine Hall was his own force, and these two were nothing but traitors.

The arrow shimmered with five-coloured light and contained horrifying power.

With a mighty shout, Chen Ping released the string.
The arrow shot forth like a bolt of lightning towards the First and Second Hall Masters. Wherever it passed, the air was torn apart, emitting a shrill whistling sound.
The two men’s expressions shifted dramatically. They hastily deployed their strongest defensive techniques, attempting to block the arrow.
Yet the power of the God King Bow far exceeded their imagination.
When the arrow collided with their golden shield, a heaven-shaking explosion rang out.
Countless cracks instantly spider-webbed across the golden shield, and in the next moment it shattered with a thunderous boom.
The arrow continued onward, piercing straight through the bodies of the First and Second Hall Masters, leaving massive bloody holes in its wake.
“No! This cannot be!”
Both men let out agonised screams at the same time. Their bodies swayed unsteadily, their eyes filled with reluctance and despair.
Even so, despite suffering such grievous wounds, they refused to give up.
They exchanged a glance, a decisive glint flashing in their eyes. Once more they circulated the remaining immortal power within their bodies, preparing a final desperate struggle.
“Sacred Combined Strike!”
With a simultaneous roar, golden light blazed from their bodies once again. They merged into one, transforming into a colossal pillar of golden light that charged straight at Chen Ping.
By now Chen Ping had exhausted every last ounce of strength. He gazed at the golden pillar rushing towards him, yet not a trace of fear showed in his eyes.
He gripped his long sword tightly, ready to meet this final impact.
At the instant the golden pillar was about to strike him, Liu Xue could no longer hold back.
Her figure flashed. In a heartbeat she appeared in front of Chen Ping. Her hands rapidly formed seals, and a powerful immortal force shield materialised before her.
“Boom!”
The golden pillar smashed into the immortal force shield, producing a violent explosion.
Although Liu Xue’s shield was formidable, under the all-or-nothing assault of the First and Second Hall Masters, faint cracks began to appear.
“Alliance Leader Liu, you…”
Chen Ping stared at Liu Xue shielding him, unsure what to say.
Liu Xue turned back, looked at Chen Ping, and smiled gently. “Young Master Chen, now let me end this battle.”
“I know you men all care about face, but face is worthless. Your life is what matters. You do not need to act so strong in front of me.”
“Even if you did nothing and let me handle it, I would still be deeply attracted to you all the same.”
