“You, oh you, have you been so busy these past couple of days that you’ve lost your head? Didn’t you ask me to contact a manufacturer to make a safe before you left? The jade Arhats were taken by the manufacturer’s people, they said they needed them for testing!”
At first, it sounded plausible, but Xu Fei quickly realised something was off.
“Wait a sec, honey, who makes a safe and takes the stuff from your house to ‘test’ it first? Did you get scammed?”

Since what they were making a safe for in their home was jade Arhats, it might be cash for most people.
