Xu Fei opened it, typed “gather intelligence + bar” into the search bar, and soon a location popped up.
“Jialan Bar? It seems to be just two hundred metres from here, I’ll go check it out!”
Muttering to himself, Xu Fei closed his phone and followed the navigation straight towards Jialan Bar.
Meanwhile, Brother Wei was in a hospital ward, wrapped up like a mummy and lying in bed.
Xu Fei’s kick hadn’t been lethal; otherwise, falling from such a height would’ve surely killed Brother Wei on the spot.

Brother Wei was groaning in the ward when suddenly the door was kicked open.
One of his lackeys couldn’t help but shout, “Who the hell is being so rude? Don’t they know our boss is recovering?”

Because the person walking through the door was none other than his boss, Brother Xing!
“Well, well, looks like your little crew’s pretty tough, Little Wei. So who did you run into that beat you up like this?” Brother Xing said as he stepped in.
The moment Brother Xing spoke, Brother Wei wilted, turning into “Little Wei”, barely daring to raise his voice.
“Heh heh heh, you’re joking, Brother Xing. These useless idiots of mine are only good at puffing themselves up at home. But the guy who injured me today, he seemed seriously skilled.”
No sooner had he finished speaking than another lackey walked in, holding a small camera and a USB drive.
“Brother Wei, your car’s been towed for repairs. This is the footage saved from your dashcam; it caught that guy on camera. Should we track him down?”
The lackey’s suggestion was simple: this was the capital, their turf.
Even if they couldn’t take the guy head-on, there was no telling what they could pull off with some sneaky tactics behind his back.
The lackey just wanted to help Brother Wei get revenge.
At the mention of this, Brother Wei perked up, hurriedly telling his crew to plug in the USB so he could see the footage.
As they watched, aside from Brother Wei muttering curses under his breath, Brother Xing suddenly spoke in a low, serious tone, “Pause it! Quick, rewind one second!”
Hearing Brother Xing’s voice, Brother Wei reacted like it was muscle memory, immediately complying. Then, Xu Fei’s clear face appeared on the screen.
“You’re saying this is the guy who beat you up today?”
“Yeah, Brother Xing, is, is there a problem?”
