After Xu Fei left the bar, he noticed it was getting late outside, the streetlights were just coming on, and night had fallen.
Having left the bar, Xu Fei felt he should find a place to rest.
He’d already gathered the intel he needed, and there was nowhere else to go.
But who could’ve guessed that, just as Xu Fei walked down the street from the bar and reached the mouth of a small alley, he suddenly heard a cry for help from within.
“Help!”
It sounded like a woman’s voice from a distance. Xu Fei didn’t dare delay, whether the plea was real or fake, he wanted to check it out.
In the dark alley, a few small-time thugs blocked the way. Opposite them, a beautiful woman was crouched on the ground, trembling all over, clearly terrified.
“Little beauty, it’s so late, why not come rest at your big brother’s place for a bit?” one of the thugs said eagerly.
The woman, frightened, quickly shouted, “You, don’t come any closer! I’ve got anti-rape spray in my bag! If you know what’s good for you, get lost!”
With that, she actually pulled a can of anti-rape spray from her handbag and gripped it tightly.
This made the thugs a bit nervous, it seemed they’d had their fair share of trouble harassing other women before.
But the woman had overestimated things. When she pressed the button, she was shocked to find the spray didn’t work!
“This, this shouldn’t be right! I barely used it since I bought it, how can it not work?”
Whether the spray was broken or simply empty, it was useless now.
Seeing this, the three thugs instantly grew excited again and started advancing towards her.
If she’d been quick-witted, she’d have realised that just showing the spray had already intimidated them, and she shouldn’t have tested it.
That way, she’d have been fine.
But now, it was too late for regrets.
Just as one of the three thugs reached for the hem of her skirt, Xu Fei appeared, knocking them all to the ground with a few swift punches and kicks.
“You alright?” Xu Fei asked, looking at the woman on the ground.
She nodded dumbly, obviously still reeling from fear.
At that moment, the three thugs he’d floored got back up, furious, and barked, “Trying to play hero, eh, kid? We’ll break your bloody legs today!”
Hearing the taunts behind him, Xu Fei knew he’d gone too easy on them earlier, and now he’d landed himself in more trouble.
So, without even turning around, Xu Fei channelled his true qi into his hand and smashed a fist into the wall beside him.
With a crack!
The solid brick wall actually caved in, a huge hole punched through by Xu Fei’s fist!
If these three thugs weren’t still somewhat lucid, they’d have thought they were watching a movie being filmed!
“Unless you want to end up like this wall, get lost!” Xu Fei snapped.
The moment he spoke, the three thugs behind him dropped to their knees, kowtowed three times with loud thuds, and scurried off in disgrace.
Once they were gone, Xu Fei turned back to the woman still sitting on the ground.
