“Of course, Major General! The moment I got back, I sorted through a bunch of info under my belt, just waiting to help you figure out the best spot for your new company’s address!”
Hearing this, Xu Fei almost said, “You’re a step too late.”
But on second thought, he figured it’d be better not to brush him off just yet.
At the banquet earlier, Yao Mingxu, riding the high of the drinks, had already sealed the deal.
The Yao family’s enterprise owned several properties in the capital, one of which happened to be not far from the Red Buddha Society.
According to Yao Mingxu, whichever spot Xu Fei picked from their holdings would be gifted to him unconditionally, free of charge.
Still, Xu Fei thought Huang Chengyun, having mingled in the capital for so long, unlike the lofty Yao family, might have more down-to-earth intel.
Plus, after leaving here, Xu Fei would need to check out the new property anyway, and Huang Chengyun could be a handy companion.
So he responded over the phone, “In that case, it couldn’t be better, I’m heading out now, I’ll get in touch once I reach the city!”
After hanging up, Xu Fei got dressed and pushed open the guest room door.
The moment he stepped out, he ran into Yao Mingxu, who’d clearly been waiting there for a while.

Xu Fei had no reason to fear Yao Mingxu normally, but after Yao Manyun’s little stunt, he couldn’t help feeling a twinge of guilt facing him now.

Feeling much more at ease, Xu Fei quickly took the contract, then drove off in his black Hummer, leaving the Yao estate behind.
At the top floor of the Yao villa, in what was originally Yao Yunxi’s room, the two sisters, Yao Yunxi and Yao Manyun, stood on the balcony by the window.
“Big Sis, Divine Doctor Xu’s gone, just forget him, besides, what you did earlier… was it really worth it?”
Yao Manyun let out a soft, self-pitying sigh.
“Little Sis, you don’t understand, in a few years, you’ll see how worth it this was!”
Driving into the sunset, Xu Fei reached the city center in about half an hour.
After reconnecting with Huang Chengyun, they agreed to meet at a high-end café in Wangjing District.
Xu Fei had chosen this spot with intent, the towering office building above this upscale café was a Yao family property.
He held the unconditional transfer contract in his hands.
Meeting here would make it convenient for Huang Chengyun to take him for a firsthand look later.
Xu Fei waited no more than five minutes before a sharply dressed young man burst in, full of energy.
