This was none other than Duanmu Yun, the Flower-Faced Ghost Hand, whom Xu Fei had previously visited and received help from.
Just moments ago, while dealing with those petty thugs, he’d caught a glimpse of Duanmu Yun lying in the Mercedes and realised something was off.
Acting decisively, Xu Fei had stepped in to rescue her.
He then gently began removing some of her outer clothing, using silver needles to treat the injured areas on her body.

Upon waking, Duanmu Yun saw her outer clothes removed and herself lying on a bed, instantly tensing up.

And when she realised it was Xu Fei standing before her, her heart eased considerably.

Xu Fei then shared how he’d already planted surveillance on Gong Zisheng.
Learning this, Duanmu Yun finally understood why Gong Zisheng was still alive.

Since both he and Duanmu Yun shared a common foe in Gong Zisheng, there was no need to be overly guarded with her.
