Hua Ling had already walked into the private room by this point, originally intending to rescue someone, unaware that she had fallen straight into Brother Hao’s trap.
“Hmph! Weren’t you too proud to show up? What’s softened your heart now?”
Seeing Hua Ling enter the room, Brother Hao lounged arrogantly on the sofa, a woman in his arms, his face dripping with mockery.
Hua Ling despised the sight of this bloke’s smug expression, but at that moment, she could only force herself to stay calm.
“Brother Hao, I… I apologise for my impulsiveness today, I shouldn’t have disrespected you. I’m here now, and I’ll sing if you want, but could you let Xiao Hang go first?”
On the other side of the room, Hua Ling’s agent, Xiao Hang, was pinned to a table, his hand being stomped on by someone’s foot, with a razor-sharp dagger placed nearby.
“That’s more like it! Don’t go picking fights with your Brother Hao, just do as I say, got it?”
Since Hua Ling had already backed down, Brother Hao was ready to push his advantage, so he waved his hand.
Not only was Xiao Hang taken away, but even the henchmen and the other dancing girls were ushered out.
In an instant, the lavish private room was left with just Hua Ling and Brother Hao.
Hua Ling sensed something was off and, for self-preservation, quickly grabbed the microphone on the table.
But Brother Hao had clearly made up his mind long ago. He shrugged off his jacket, then slapped the microphone out of Hua Ling’s hand.
Then, Brother Hao pulled out a remote control and pressed it twice, causing the large screen to light up with an utterly salacious scene.
“If you know what’s good for you, drink this, then mimic the moves of the people on the screen, do exactly what they do!”
“If you dare resist, not only will your agent lose his hand, but you’ll have no chance of escaping either!”
“Do you want me to force you later, or will you drink the stuff obediently, skip the pain, and enjoy the fun that’s coming? Make your choice!”
Brother Hao placed a glass of oddly coloured liquid in front of Hua Ling. One glance told her it was likely laced with something like a knockout drug, why else would he give it to her?
Only then did Hua Ling realise that today was nothing but a trap, a proper ambush.
But by the time she cottoned on, it was too late. She deeply regretted not listening to Xu Fei and seeking help.
“Hurry up, I’ve waited a whole year and I’ve got no patience left!”
Brother Hao had been pursuing Hua Ling for an entire year, his patience long gone, which was why he’d resorted to such strong-arm tactics today.
With no other choice, to save her life, Hua Ling tearfully picked up the glass and drank its contents.
When Brother Hao saw her down the drug, a sleazy grin spread across his face.
“That’s more like it! If you’d just obeyed me from the start, you’d have fame and money by now, why make me lose my temper?”
As Brother Hao approached with that sleazy grin, reaching out to support Hua Ling and push her onto the bed, she had no strength to resist, only able to cry endlessly.
Because Hua Ling knew deep down that when she rejected Xu Fei earlier, there was no one left in the world who could save her.
Meanwhile, Xu Fei had already changed clothes and arrived at the door of the private room, walking in.
The room was incredibly luxurious, divided into two areas: the outer part for entertainment and leisure, and the inner part, where Brother Hao indulged his pleasures.
