Xu Fei drove Lele to the school.
After parking, he glanced at the school’s gate and overall architectural style, his brows furrowing tighter.
The school, from its entrance to its main buildings, was far too Westernised.
Even the students coming and going mixed foreign phrases into their conversations.
Xu Fei also noticed that despite their young age, these kids were decked out in foreign luxury brands.
He immediately saw the problem. The school was expensive, and with such vast financial backing, its education quality and results wouldn’t be poor.
But clearly, the school paid no attention to the growing culture of vanity and comparison among students, which was detrimental to their growth.
Xu Fei wouldn’t let his daughter study in such a place, so he patted Lele’s head.
“Sweetie, let’s go home. Daddy will find you a better school!”
Lele, always obedient to her father, nodded and turned to leave.
They didn’t notice their conversation being overheard by a group of fashionably dressed kids, led by equally flashy parents.
The parents’ eyes gleamed with arrogance, as if they looked down on everyone.
Seeing Xu Fei and Lele about to leave, they sneered.
“Tch, if you can’t afford it, just say so! This is the best primary school in the capital. If this isn’t good, no school is!”
“Exactly, some people love to brag. They can’t afford the fees but blame the school instead!”
“Look at the car that guy’s driving. Never even heard of the brand, probably some knockoff!”
Xu Fei didn’t care, not bothering to argue with these snobs.
But Lele, still a child, was sensitive to others’ opinions.
When she saw the other kids joining in the mockery, her face fell.
“Daddy…”
Though Lele only tugged at his sleeve, swaying it back and forth without saying more, Xu Fei knew she was upset.
