Before long, a white-haired old man approached.
Though he must have been well over fifty, the old man walked briskly, full of vigour, looking remarkably spirited.

Lan Jitong paused briefly upon arriving, then his expression darkened as he began to berate loudly.
Director Liu, seeing Lan Jitong so furious for the first time, felt even more delighted.
“Yes, yes, Principal, you’re absolutely right! This guy is indeed too audacious, causing trouble here. But rest assured…”
Before Director Liu could finish, Lan Jitong turned, glaring at him coldly and snapping, “I didn’t name names, and you’re still playing dumb, are you? Liu Zhengtao! You’re the real fool! Is this the so-called troublemaker at our school’s entrance?”
Seeing Lan Jitong point at Xu Fei beside him, Liu Zhengtao was baffled.
“That’s right, Principal! It’s him causing trouble at our school entrance, injuring both the guards and the security captain. Everyone here saw it!”
As the situation unfolded, the parent who had been verbally attacking Xu Fei earlier immediately chimed in loudly.
“Principal Lan, I can vouch for Director Liu. This guy is far too arrogant! If the security captain hadn’t risked himself to stop him, we’d all have been in trouble!”

But to everyone’s surprise, when the furious Principal Lan turned to Xu Fei, his expression instantly shifted to one of utmost respect.

Lan Jitong had barely uttered a single word about Xu Fei’s identity when Xu Fei’s eyes sharpened.

“No big deal. When I tried to enter, a few dogs blocked my way, so I taught them a lesson. You don’t mind, do you, Principal?”
At Xu Fei’s words, Lan Jitong hurriedly responded with a smile, “Of course not! Though they’re our school’s staff, given their disrespectful behaviour towards you, I’m announcing their immediate dismissal!”
As he spoke, Lan Jitong’s gaze was deadly serious, even deliberately glancing at Director Liu.
Now Director Liu was genuinely terrified, fearing Lan Jitong might seize the chance to sack him too.
So Director Liu quickly dropped his arrogant demeanour, standing silently to the side, not daring to make a sound.
“It’s crowded out here. Please, Mr. Xu, come to my office for a proper discussion.”
Lan Jitong was sincerely inviting Xu Fei, but to his surprise, Xu Fei shook his head and declined.
