“I’m a straightforward man, no need for games. Let my daughter go, and I’ll let you go!”
When Xu Fei saw Kang Kang for the second time, he got straight to the point without a hint of hesitation.
“Is that true? I don’t have the time or need to verify your words. If you want your daughter to live, don’t make a move until I reach the coast.”
“Otherwise, you know the consequences!”
As Kang Kang said this, a smug glint flashed in his eyes.
Seeing Xu Fei make no move, he assumed it was tacit agreement.
But just as Kang Kang started to move, Xu Fei moved too.
“What’s going on? Aren’t you afraid for your daughter’s safety?”
Feeling the terrifyingly familiar pressure and strength Xu Fei displayed as he moved, Kang Kang’s heart raced with panic. Xu Fei’s actions seemed utterly irrational.
Any normal person, upon hearing this, would surely be extremely polite, agreeing to any demand.
Yet Xu Fei acted so casually, as if he didn’t care about his daughter at all.
“Enough nonsense! If I hadn’t been worried about hurting bystanders in the crowded hall earlier, I’d have acted already!”
Xu Fei’s strength far surpassed Kang Kang’s. His earlier restraint was purely out of caution.
First, he feared accidentally harming those around. Second, he was concerned about hurting his daughter.
Otherwise, Xu Fei would have struck outside, never giving this kid the chance to escape into the hall.
As Xu Fei spoke, Kang Kang tried to manipulate Le Le to use her as leverage against him.
But to his shock, Kang Kang suddenly realised his control over Le Le had failed!
“What’s happening? How could it fail? This is impossible!”
Unbeknownst to Kang Kang, Xu Fei had his clairvoyant vision and had long noticed the threads wrapped around Le Le.
Using the true energy within him, Xu Fei conjured a stream of air that sliced through the fine threads.
By the time Kang Kang realised, Xu Fei had already scooped Le Le into his arms.
“Now let’s see where you can run!”
With Le Le safe, Xu Fei had no more reservations and charged forward!

With just three punches and two kicks, Xu Fei sent Kang Kang crashing to the ground.
But just as Xu Fei could have pressed his advantage to secure victory, he stopped.
Through his clairvoyant vision, he noticed something unusual. How could Kang Kang, after taking his punches, have a hollow groove in his chest?
