The flight to Japan was no short journey, taking about three to four hours, so Xu Fei reclined his seat to catch some sleep.
Bai Feng, having slept well the previous night and being on her first trip abroad, was brimming with curiosity despite not yet landing.
Once the plane reached cruising altitude, she quietly opened her laptop to research the university and city she was heading to, engrossed in the details.
To get closer to Bai Feng, Qian Jiahang approached the passenger seated behind her, casually handing over tens of thousands to take their place in first class, then slipped into the seat behind Bai Feng to spy on her screen.
“Tsukibin City, Tsukibin University exchange student? Well, isn’t that the city I’m in? This must be fate!” Qian Jiahang silently noted the key details before discreetly moving away.
After switching seats again to keep watching, Qian Jiahang noticed Bai Feng seemed to need the restroom, so he deliberately beat her to it.
His plan was simple: sabotage the faucet and take the empty seat beside her.
Unaware of his scheme, Bai Feng used the restroom and turned on the faucet to wash her hands, only for a jet of water to spray out, making her shriek.
“What’s wrong? What happened?” Qian Jiahang called out, rushing in as if unaware, though he’d orchestrated it all.
The airplane’s restroom was designed for efficiency, with only the toilet area lockable, while the sink was a shared space.
“The water… it won’t stop!” Bai Feng cried, her upper body drenched, her clothes nearly transparent.
Though her focus was elsewhere, this was a feast for Qian Jiahang’s eyes, who had ulterior motives.
“Good lord, what a figure, I didn’t misjudge!” he thought, reluctantly tearing his gaze away before offering a prepared towel.
“No worries, I’ll call the flight attendant, dry yourself off first!” he said.
Prompted by Qian Jiahang, Bai Feng realised her clothes were see-through, her face flushing as she hurriedly covered herself with the towel.
An old hand at this, Qian Jiahang played the gentleman, turning away as if uninterested, though he’d already taken full advantage of her flustered state.
“Th-thank you…” Bai Feng said, forming a good impression of him.
Returning the towel, Qian Jiahang caught her friendly gaze, sensing an opportunity, and smoothly handed her a business card.
“No problem, we’re both from China, gotta help each other out abroad, if you run into any trouble, contact me, I’ll sort it out!” he said, leaving with a suave air.
Taking the card, Bai Feng saw it read “President of Tsukibin University Student Union” and murmured, “He’s at my school, could this be fate?”
By then, a flight attendant arrived, apologising profusely for Bai Feng’s soaked state, but Bai Feng waved it off.
The attendant led her to the crew’s rest area to change into a fresh set of clothes.
