Qian Jiahang watched in shock as the wall behind him collapsed under Xu Fei’s single punch.
“I’m warning you! If you ever try to touch my sister again, you’ll have to get through me first!”
After delivering his warning, Xu Fei checked the time, saw it was almost up, and coolly turned to leave the alley.
Only after Xu Fei’s figure disappeared did Qian Jiahang start gasping heavily.
“This… what kind of monster is that guy?!”
Coming from a wealthy family, Qian Jiahang had always been well-protected.
He’d seen plenty of strong personal bodyguards, usually ex-special forces, highly trained.
They could handle any crisis calmly, often taking on ten men single-handedly.
But even among them, he’d never seen anyone who could demolish a wall with one punch.
His lackeys, struggling to stand, looked at Qian Jiahang in pain.
“Boss, that guy’s terrifying, not even human. Let’s just drop it and not mess with him.”
“Yeah, Boss, you’re rich and powerful, plenty of pretty girls out there. Why fixate on her?”
It was clear that after the encounter, Qian Jiahang’s hired muscle was thoroughly cowed.
But Qian Jiahang wasn’t one to give up easily—Bai Feng’s allure was too strong for him.
Instead, he shook his head, sneering, “So what if he can fight? I don’t believe there’s anything money can’t fix in this world!”
“What are you standing around for? Clean up and let’s go, stop embarrassing yourselves!”
Qian Jiahang scolded his men again, then led them to the car and left.
Meanwhile, Xu Fei, no longer maintaining his cool facade after leaving the alley, broke into a sprint.
“Damn, damn! Only three minutes left, I’ve got to hurry or I won’t make it!”
Xu Fei sped up, racing back to the apartment from the scene in just about three minutes.
He’d barely shut the door and changed into his shoes when it opened again from the outside.
“Bai Feng, you’re back! Let’s see what you bought.”
Despite the frantic dash, Xu Fei spoke to Bai Feng calmly, without a hint of breathlessness.
Bai Feng smiled sweetly, closed the door, and set her bag on the coffee table.
The two chatted and laughed, watching TV while finishing the food and drinks.
The next day was relatively calm, though Bai Feng was visibly excited.
Xu Fei understood—it was her first day of classes.
After her lessons, Xu Fei suggested they explore the area nearby.
His main goal was to help Bai Feng get familiar with the surroundings, so she’d have some ability to handle herself if anything happened.
Bai Feng hadn’t thought of this but was happy to join Xu Fei, treating it like a sightseeing trip.
While strolling, Bai Feng stopped in front of a gift shop, her gaze fixed on something inside.
Xu Fei followed her line of sight and noticed she was captivated by a beautiful hanging sachet.
Smiling, he said, “What, missing stuff from home after just a few days?”
