“Is that so? Everyone’s ready to grab their weapons, we’ve got to teach this guy a lesson today!”
The boss sneered, stroking his beard, thinking it had been a long time since anyone dared to be so brazen in front of him, openly interfering with his mission.
Sure enough, shortly after the lead henchman spoke, Xu Fei came speeding in on a bicycle, then stopped.
“Hey! Who the hell are you, tailing us all the way on a bike?”
Since Xu Fei hadn’t made a scene in the busy downtown area, only quietly following, the boss didn’t find it too outrageous, assuming Xu Fei might be some professional athlete to pull that off.
Xu Fei smiled faintly and said, “Who else would follow you here but someone coming to save people? Besides, didn’t you deliberately lure me here?”
After Xu Fei spoke, the boss sneered back, “Hmph! Knowing we lured you here, you still followed? Looking to die, huh?”
Xu Fei’s eyes turned icy, and he said slowly, word by word, “Soon, you’ll find out who’s really looking to die!”
“Outrageous! You’re tired of living, boys, get him!”
At the boss’s command, five or six henchmen drew their weapons from their waists and charged at Xu Fei.
Facing these small fries, Xu Fei couldn’t muster any interest.
He flung out a handful of silver needles, and in an instant, the henchmen collapsed to the ground.
When Xu Fei was dealing with the henchmen, the boss could tell at a glance that Xu Fei was an expert.
No ordinary person could do that, and the silver needles Xu Fei used as weapons seemed oddly peculiar.
But the boss wasn’t fazed, after all, he had something to rely on at his waist!
“Hmph! Silver needles as weapons? How do they compare to the gun in my hand?”
The boss thought this to himself without saying it aloud, but the next second, Xu Fei nodded at him and said, “Hey, don’t waste my time, hurry up and draw that gun from your waist!”
This left the boss utterly shocked, murmuring to himself, “Why… how do you know I have a gun? I didn’t say anything or show it!”
Xu Fei didn’t respond, instead stepping closer, gradually closing the distance between them.
This made the boss panic instantly, a gun was only effective at a certain distance.
If Xu Fei got close so easily, given the strength he’d just shown, the boss would be down in seconds.
Without a word, the boss drew his weapon and pulled the trigger at Xu Fei.
Bang!
A loud shot rang out, the bullet blasting from the barrel with fierce momentum, and then the boss witnessed something he’d never forget.
Xu Fei casually twisted to the side, effortlessly dodging the bullet he’d fired!
