Wherever Xu Fei went, he was unstoppable, even though Yuu Akutagawa had prepared, his armed lackeys were still no match.
When Xu Fei kicked down the last lackey, snatching the watermelon knife from his hand, he glared at Yuu.
“Too terrifying… is this guy even human? If everyone in the Kawashima family is this skilled, we’re done for!”
Yuu was thoroughly shaken. The Azure Dragon Gang was just one of many factions under the Qiuming family.
As Xu Fei approached, Yuu’s only thought was survival.
“You… what are you doing! I’m warning you, don’t mess around! If you touch me, the Qiuming family won’t let you off!”
Yuu’s threats sounded like mere scratches to Xu Fei.
“They won’t let me off? Fine, but before you send your people for revenge, you’ll pay for your actions first!”
Before Yuu could react, Xu Fei delivered a brutal kick to his groin.
Yuu collapsed, writhing in agony, groaning.
Xu Fei ignored him, turned, and left with Miki Kawashima.
Once Xu Fei was gone, the surviving lackeys dared to approach Yuu.
“Boss, you okay? Should we call an ambulance?”
“Yes, yes, call an ambulance! I feel like everything’s shattered!”
“And don’t forget to report this, let the family higher-ups know, or I took this beating for nothing!”
After the call, an ambulance soon arrived, whisking Yuu away.
Meanwhile, Xu Fei and Miki had left, riding bicycles to a restaurant where they picked a nice spot.
Xu Fei wasn’t hungry and didn’t need to eat much, but Miki seemed to have a hearty appetite.
After ordering plenty and eating heartily, Miki hesitated before saying to Xu Fei, “I’ve been hiding something from you. You won’t be mad if I tell you now, will you?”
Xu Fei smiled calmly, looking relaxed and warm.
Miki gathered her courage and said, “Actually… I deliberately led you to the Qiuming family’s territory. Not to trick you, but to see if you’re capable of protecting me.”
After she spoke, Xu Fei’s expression showed no obvious change.
“So it was a test for me, huh? Well, I’m happy to pass your test, because I’ve also been hiding something from you.”
“What is it?”
“Though I’m from Huaxia, my master’s name is Ichiro Kawashima. That name should ring a bell, right?”
When Miki heard the name, she instinctively repeated it a few times.
“Ichiro Kawashima? It does sound familiar, but I can’t quite place it.”
Though Miki couldn’t immediately recall who Ichiro Kawashima was, she was certain he was someone from her family.
