Talented Medical Son-in-law Chapter 1983

“That’s odd, didn’t I already patrol this area once before? How could something like this still happen?”

“Could there be someone I missed?”

Xu Fei rubbed his chin, deciding to act immediately, giving the culprit no chance to escape.

He turned to Bai Feng beside him and said, “I’ve pinpointed the location of the guy who planted the camera. I’m going to settle the score with him now. Stay home and keep yourself safe!”

Bai Feng nodded. With something like this happening, he wasn’t in the mood to go out anyway.

Xu Fei quickly went downstairs, hailed a taxi, and within about ten minutes, arrived at the precise location.

After getting out, Xu Fei surveyed the surroundings. It was indeed close to the area he had patrolled before, but still a slight distance away.

Perhaps that’s why he missed this spot, allowing someone to take advantage of the oversight.

Xu Fei soon reached the base of a small building at the exact coordinates. He noticed the area seemed largely deserted, almost eerily empty.

It made sense, even to Xu Fei, the buildings here were so dilapidated that it was no wonder no one wanted to live here.

Initially, Xu Fei planned to force the lock, after all, this guy had the audacity to install a pinhole camera in Xu Fei’s place.

He wasn’t going to let him off lightly, but to his surprise, there was an open window at the back of the ground floor.

The window was about two metres off the ground, unreachable for most people.

But such a small obstacle was no match for Xu Fei.

With a swift leap, he grabbed the window’s edge and climbed through.

Inside, Xu Fei found himself in a bathroom’s ventilation window. He left the bathroom and stepped into the main area.

The house was in a deplorable state, the bathroom, living room, and kitchen were all littered with rubbish.

Flies and rats were rampant, conditions worse than any Xu Fei had faced even on outdoor missions.

In the wild, one couldn’t underestimate pests like mosquitoes, flies, or rats, as neglecting them could easily lead to illness.

Covering his nose, Xu Fei searched the ground floor but found no signs of anyone.

He grabbed a long fruit knife from the kitchen, intending to use it to pick the lock upstairs.

Xu Fei had no doubts about the accuracy of the location provided by his source, so he proceeded to the second floor.

Upon reaching the second floor, he heard faint snoring as he approached the staircase.

Following the sound, Xu Fei located a bedroom.

Pushing the door open, he saw a heavyset man with messy hair like a bird’s nest and a stubbly face, fast asleep.

Surrounding him were piles of takeaway boxes, and the room was littered with discarded drink bottles.

The only relatively tidy area was around the computer and its desk.

Xu Fei immediately pegged the man as a reclusive otaku. Seeing he was still asleep, Xu Fei sat at the computer.

Though not a master hacker, Xu Fei’s computer skills were impressive.
