On the surface, the number of patrolling personnel here hadn’t increased much, but behind the scenes, Qiyama Hiroichi had added several security measures.
The purpose was simple: to prevent someone like Xu Fei from causing trouble again.
Qiyama Hiroichi’s subordinates were efficient, immediately pulling up the surveillance footage from that day to capture Xu Fei’s appearance.
So when Xu Fei approached the bar again, he was shocked yet clear to see his own portrait posted at the entrance.
Below another portrait was a lengthy description, reading so exaggeratedly it was practically a wanted poster for Xu Fei.
“No way? This is a civilised society—how can a small family pull off something this absurd?” Xu Fei muttered helplessly, but there was nothing he could do, having already accepted Kawashima Yosuke’s mission.
Still, Xu Fei wasn’t foolish enough to barge in through the front door, fighting his way through.
He understood the principle of capturing the leader to subdue the enemy. On his last visit, he’d vaguely heard rumours about the Green Dragon Society here.
Presumably, this so-called Green Dragon Society was the group in charge.
Xu Fei figured that if he could control the Green Dragon Society, he wouldn’t need to deal with so many troublesome procedures.
After observing his surroundings, Xu Fei had initially thought the bar was surrounded by an impenetrable net of security.
But through his x-ray vision, he realised it was just a façade.
In reality, plenty of people were coming and going through the back door.
Since the bar was a profit-driven establishment, Xu Fei noticed that everyone entering or leaving seemed to pay a fee.
As long as the money was paid, the greedy security guards turned a blind eye, acting as if they genuinely couldn’t see anything.
Having come abroad, Xu Fei had brought plenty of cash, which came in handy at this moment.
Otherwise, he’d have thought the mask on his face might’ve failed today.
So Xu Fei grabbed a stack of cash, ready to test his luck at the bar’s entrance.
But just as he approached to try this method, a man in a suit suddenly rushed out from inside the bar.
The man exchanged a few words with the security guard, who immediately changed his attitude, shooing away the others holding money and queuing to enter.
“Damn it, did this guy find out I took out Qiyama Hiroichi’s three subordinates, so they beefed up security today?” Xu Fei speculated, but with no other option, he had to stick to his earlier plan.
He found a corner, tore off the mask from his face, and revealed his true appearance.
Since this was the first time he’d shown his real face here, no one could possibly recognise him.
“Sigh, waste it is, but it’s better than being discovered prematurely,” Xu Fei said, reluctantly looking at the discarded mask before abandoning the idea of entering through the back door.
After all, now that he was showing his true face, sneaking in from the back might raise unnecessary suspicion.
When Xu Fei reached the front entrance, it was exactly as he’d expected—no one stopped him at all.
