“I’ve already sorted things out here, so keep an eye on this place. I haven’t dealt with matters over there yet, so don’t make me worry needlessly!”
Xu Fei’s words were clearly laced with frustration towards Kawashima Yosuke, who picked up on it, his face breaking into an awkward smile.
He glanced ahead, where the Hengjiang family had been almost entirely wiped out, while their side remained strong and unscathed.
But Kawashima Yosuke was overly cautious in his approach, hurriedly rubbing his hands together as he asked, “So… what if the Qiushan family comes back?”
Xu Fei sighed helplessly, shaking his head.
“I knew you’d say something like that. Don’t worry, I’m heading west to take down the Qiushan family. Something’s off about them, so just hold the fort here!”
With that, Xu Fei prepared to leave, but a roar suddenly erupted from the battlefield, encircled by giant ice dragons.
“Kawashima family, I, Hengjiang Jue, will make you pay in blood!”
The roar echoed as the ice layer brought by the giant ice dragons was shattered by a single punch, the fist wrapped in a faint white glow.
“Hengjiang Jue? Isn’t that the name of the Hengjiang family’s first patriarch? That old man should’ve been dead for centuries, so what, he’s resurrected now?”
Hearing the man call himself Hengjiang Jue, Kawashima Yosuke couldn’t help but feel a chill of fear.
Xu Fei’s brows furrowed as well, noticing the white glow enveloping the man’s fist.
“This guy… how does he also have the Power of Yang?”
What troubled Xu Fei was the white glow, clearly pulsing with the Power of Yang.
But this man’s Power of Yang seemed different from Xu Fei’s, whose power was a dazzling golden hue, like the sun.
“Who are you? From the Kawashima family? The current patriarch, I presume!”
Though the man climbing out of the ice still looked like Hengjiang Chuan, his speech and mannerisms were entirely different.
The giant ice dragons nearby roared, but as they swooped down, Hengjiang Jue smashed them with a single punch each.
“Hey! Don’t just stand there. You killed everyone in my Hengjiang family, so how do we settle this score?”
Hengjiang Jue crossed his arms and stood before Xu Fei and the others, seemingly waiting for an explanation.
But Xu Fei, with his x-ray vision, activated it and saw that the man’s Power of Yang was not only faint in colour but also sparse in quantity, mostly used in tandem with his true qi.
“Hmph, so you’re just a bluffing fraud! That makes things easier!”
Xu Fei stepped forward confidently, speaking coldly.
“You have the nerve to come out and demand justice? Your Hengjiang family killed countless people in wars over the ancestral land back then. Do you think you’re some kind of saint?”
“Want to settle scores? Fine, I killed all those people just now. If you’ve got the guts, come at me!”
Seeing Xu Fei step up, Hengjiang Jue let out a cold laugh.
“So it’s you? Kid, don’t blame me for showing no mercy!”
