Lu Yao asked several apostles for their opinions on the building of a city in the Cloud Temple.
Isabelle said, “My lord, the environment of Cloud Central Temple is harsh. We can consider migrating some of the Wuzhi Clan and ghosts over, they are best suited for such an environment.”
Lu Yao thought it made sense.
The Wu Ji Clan only needed minerals and the Wu Elemental, and were unaffected here.
The Ghosts could survive for a long time as long as they stayed in the Ghost Lighthouse.
Tyrant Sarina was against it, “My lord, building a city in a vortex world with very few rules left would require too much consumption of the Flame of Faith.”
“After building the city and relocating the population, there is still a need for continued investment here. Due to the extremity of the Cloud Temple’s own rule power, subsequent repairs and renovations will also require much of your energy and faith to be wasted.”
“In comparison, I suggest going straight for the Spectral Ghost Realm and the Bamboo Reed Kingdom, which are two complete divine kingdoms with relatively complete world environments and civilisation prototypes.”
“I request to bring an army to capture the Psi Ghost Realm first for Your Excellency!”
The first words were fine, the last sentence was a bit revealing of personal tendencies.
Lu Yao looked at Sarina, the symbol of two swords slashing at each other sprouting from the top of her head, full of desire to fight.
A tyrant’s speciality was fighting.
The Yao world had been at peace for a long time, and she was a bit of a hero.
Lu Yao vetoed her proposal, causing the twin swords above Sarina’s head to shatter into a depressed expression.
Skeleton Man Phileus was the other side of the consideration, “Lord Yao God, my subordinate thinks that Cloud Temple should have quite a few mineral deposits to mine. The Wu Ji Clan, who specialises in surveying and gathering, should have a great deal to offer here.”
“According to my subordinate’s experience, desert regions are better for mining mineral deposits than clay environments because of the extreme dryness.”
“I don’t dare to assert the others, but the amount of iron, copper and salt will not be small.”
Worthy of being an industrialist.
Lu Yao finally got a constructive judgement from the professional side.
In the end, he looked towards Slimer, who hadn’t made any comments.
This Apostle, who was shaped like a Slime, had a huge box floating on its brain at the moment, in which a series of weird formula symbols were constantly flashing, as if it was performing some sort of deduction simulation.
After waiting for a few seconds, it then spoke, “…… So it is.”
“Divine Lord, my humble self would like to make sure of one thing first.”
“Your ultimate goal is not to relocate the two divine kingdoms to this world, right?”
“That is to say, the Yunzhong Temple was built to manifest the civilisation of the Yao Race, and to further expand its influence from the cultural level, and subsequently assimilate the outside divine Kingdom from the underlying structure.”
“I am Avray in awe.”
“Before you, there has never been a god who has considered the underlying strategy. Regardless of the title deity or the gods, the only element in His eyes is the deity, and as long as the deity is crushed or controlled, then the divine kingdom as well as such appurtenances as the population will be at hand.”
“In the usual sense, this is indeed not a problem, no matter how strong or weak the divine kingdom is, the gods are the only core pillar.”
“Using the Cloud Temple as a buffer zone and hub to radiate civilisation through the Yao Clan to the external god kingdoms, the only thing the external gods can think of is you eliminating some of the Yao Clan’s weakest people to other god kingdoms through this method.”
“Whether it’s the Psi-God or the Bamboo Lu King, they will be happy to see it happen, because these individuals that contain transcendent power and civilisation technology are the ones they are most scarce in.”
“He cannot refuse, nor can He refuse.”
A sardonic symbol surfaced on top of Slymod’s head, only the expression fell short of villainous when it fell on a Slime with two leaves on its head.
“By the time He reacted, the entire Divine Kingdom had already turned into the Yao Clan cloaked in camouflage, and this strategy will completely transform the structure and civilisation of the Divine Kingdom.”
“At that time, even if the Gods wanted to weed out the Yao Race’s influence, it would be something they couldn’t do. This is because the clothes, food, and shelter within the civilisation have all been marked with the Yao Race’s imprint.”
“He has only two choices.”
“Either destroy the established civilisation and start all over again, that would be like dying once.”
“Either accept this order and framework and follow in your footsteps, Lord God, the stronger you are, the more He benefits. Not only the faith and population, but also the development of the Divine Kingdom ……”
“Wonderful, wonderful!”A big smiley face surfaced above Slemod’s head.
Lu Yao was silent.
He didn’t think about that much.
What Lu Yao had planned was to come up with a dual cycle of civilisation inside and outside, which could continue to stimulate the creativity and initiative of the Yao Race.
The Yao Race’s world had gone through two epochal changes and created three eras, so the internal cycle was already more stable, and now it was time to think about going out.
The safest was naturally the deserted Gravel Worlds, but the vast majority of Gravel Worlds had no value for reclamation and had no important resources, otherwise no one would be able to care.
In the Divine Kingdom Adhesion Body, now that Salt Jiu had gained a firm foothold, using him as an opportunity to send martial practitioners over there could be exchanged for some of the local technological and cultural achievements, as well as giving the martial practitioners a suitable soil in which to continue to grow.
The Yunzhong Temple’s construction of the city and the opening of the Silk Road to the outside world was also meant to allow this group of people to go out and still have a passageway back home.
Both the Spectral Demon God and the Bamboo Reed King already knew that Yanjiu and the others came from the Vortex World, so let this process always be controlled within the Vortex World.
Eventually returning to the Yao Clan world through the Cloud Temple, these two gods were unable to track them down, and with their abilities they couldn’t do anything to peer into the Shard World.
Perspective affects conclusion.
This discussion also made Lu Yao realise that Slymod’s big picture view and judgement was noteworthy, and it looked like it was not only an excellent counsellor, but also had a big picture view of co-ordinating the whole situation.
He simply handed over the task of building the city to Slemod.
“Divine Lord, I will definitely complete the task and lay the foundation for your grand strategy.”
Slimer excitedly went to prepare.
……
After the cessation of the Era, the first Yao Clan city in the Cloud Temple stood in the desert.
Lu Yao named it Sand City.
Sand City had a ring of low stone walls, and inside the city was built with a ghost lighthouse, a town hall, and a handful of houses, with the stone, wood, clay, and leather needed for construction being transported from the Yao Race World.
The houses here are flat and low-rise to minimise the erosion and impact of wind, sand and dust storms.
In terms of size, Sand City is not small at all, about one-third the size of Salt City. However, there were very few residents here, and the entire city seemed very empty.
In the Yao Race World, all the cities cooperated by releasing announcements of the founding of the new city. Interested parties were invited to settle in the newly built Sand City, where the land was vast, but the requirements were preferably good stamina and low requirements for ingestion and water, otherwise it was not recommended to go over there ……
The first inhabitants of Sand City contain the Uzis, Ghosts, Pixies and Squirrels.
The arrival of the Wuzhi and Ghosts was in line with Lu Yao’s expectations.
Rather, it was the Southern Continent’s Pixies, and the Pine Crawlers who had enthusiastically signed up that surprised him.
Both of these races had high requirements for forests and water sources, and going to such a desert city was really incomprehensible.
Slimerd reported the reason for this.
The reason was in two words: opportunity.
The Pine Crawlers had lived in Canopy City for generations. That place itself had limited development, plus they were individually weak and surrounded by Transcendents, so there was no way they could expand if they wanted to.
They needed little food and water, so they wanted to try Sand City, maybe they could have the same opportunities as Crystal City and Uda City.
The elves faced the same problem.
Although the Southern New Continent was much wider compared to Canopy City, the influence of early adventurers and merchants had caused the local elf villages to become commercially vibrant, with the elf lake as the centre of the continually holding one open-box auction after another.
There were still some elves who preferred tradition and aspired to plant trees and live quietly.
They even felt that they could carve out a new Elf Lake in the New World.
Lu Yao’s first thought was that it was better to forget about it. These tiny creatures underestimated the harshness of the Cloud Temple’s environment and were a bit too naive.
However, on second thought, how was this not a kind of courage and enterprise?
The renovation of the Cloud Central Temple was a matter of sooner or later, so he might as well start with Sand City.
Lu Yao began to work on the repair rules, creating an artificial lake next to the Sand City, maintaining regular rainfall to sustain the water source needed for these local lives.
The little elves and pine caterpillars migrated over with large bags on their backs, and once they arrived in Sand City, they co-operated with each other. These little creatures planted the various species of trees they brought with them, patiently watered them with water, and began the path of planting trees from within the city.
The survival rate of the trees planted in the Cloud Temple was extremely low, and most of them were unable to adapt to the overly dry climate here, but the little elves and squirrels were undaunted, and they brought along a large amount of tree seeds and soil, preparing themselves for a long period of time to plant trees.
When the first tree in town grew out completely, one by one, the little creatures hugged each other and cheered.
“Praise God Yao and life!”
Seeing them cheering, Lu Yao also felt happy.
He pulled out the Tree Man Seed that he had obtained from the Tree of Sylvanus and planted it in the city, hoping that the little tree people would work together with the tree planters to transform this place into a small oasis suitable for survival.
Slowly, a pine and symbiotic tree appeared in the city, adding some fresh colours to the tawny world.
Fellow immigrants, the Uzis were making rapid progress.
Driving the earthbound boats they brought with them, they travelled through the desert at silky smooth speeds, moving in and out of the dunes without hindrance. The environment was like home to them, it was simply too comfortable.
It wasn’t long before a series of alerts popped up on the simulator.
[The Yao Clan discovered gypsum.]
[The Yao Clan has learnt to improve the soil with gypsum, and their agricultural production capacity has been slightly increased.]]
[Yao Clan has learned to make plaster moulds, and their casting ability has been slightly improved.]
[The Yao discovered borax.]
[The Yao learned to optimise the manufacture of glass with borax, and their glass-making ability was greatly improved.]
The discovery sites are all in the Cloud Temple.
Lu Yao was satisfied.
At the same time as this, the 3rd Martial Arts Conference was held in Sand City.
A total of 105 people participated in this competition.
Two of them were acquaintances that Lu Yao had an impression of.
One was the Little Fish Mermaid Fish Goo, which was indomitable and continued to compete.
The second was Sandworm Shaq, which was also a close friend of Fish Goo and actually participated in the convention this time.
Shaq’s name had changed to [Sand King], and his level had reached LV33. He was already bigger than the other Sandworms, and his Sand King form was like a giant monster in the sand, while the Fish Goo next to him was just like a small dot.
Lu Yao clicked on Shaq.
……

……
Lu Yao realised that Shaq’s self-contained [Alien] trait had morphed into [Sand King].
In terms of this luxurious data panel, the Sand King simply exceeded the other contestants by a large margin, almost predetermining the champion.
What Lu Yao was curious about was why these two florists from Team Pinkman, who weren’t combat faculties themselves, would participate in the Martial Arts Conference.
Fish Goo was a love affair.
And what was Shaq’s situation?
