Shaq was born stronger than other sandworms.
Normally, the bigger the sandworm, the more awe it receives from its own kind.
However, if the size is too big, the awe will turn into fear and uneasiness.
When Shaq became an adult, his body was already twice as big as a normal sandworm, and the sandworms would keep a distance from him for fear of being eaten by him.
As a result, Shaq is alone for a long time.
It hides underground and sleeps to avoid appearing to scare other creatures. Only when it is hungry does it come out to feed.
Shaq longs for the sea.
The ocean was more vast and encompassing than the land, and there he was just a small, unassuming man.
He began to learn to swim.
Shaq wriggled in the water, a sight that brought ridicule from many of his kind.
“Shaq, are you out of your mind? Why would a sandworm run into the water?”
“Why don’t you come up quickly, you’re killing yourself fool!”
“This guy was born to be different from the big guys …… indeed not too smart looking.”
“Look at the way it looks, and it has no fins or limbs, how can it swim?”
Shaq came up from the water, and the other sandworms immediately scattered in fear.
It didn’t quite understand.
The group wasn’t happy when they went into the water to swim by themselves, and they weren’t happy when they stayed on land.
So what would one have to do for them to be satisfied?
Shaq was stuck in thought.
The thinking was fruitless.
He continued to practise paddling and diving.
It was indeed not easy for the sandworm to swim, it could only dive in the water for a while, then it burrowed into the underwater sediment and came ashore from the other side. When it said swimming, it was really more like underwater sand drilling.
But that doesn’t matter.
The sea was indeed fun, and whether it was turtles or crabs, they were used to the behemoths. Even when Shaq wriggled past, they just gave a token glance and went about their business.
Shaq loved the sea.
Once, he came up from under the sea and found a drowning man in the sea. The other person, a small man, was already struggling weakly in the water and could have drowned at any time.
Shaq rescued him to shore only to find out that it was actually a deep-sea fishman.
Fishmen could choke on water too?
Shaq stood in awe.
The other party vomited all over the place, claimed to be called Fish Goo, and ate the poisonous mushrooms on the mountain, so he was a little dizzy in the water.
Fish Goo loves land. He loves to stick his mouth in everything and taste it. He has tried most of the food in the sea, but there is still a lot he hasn’t tasted on land.
Fishgu thinks that everyone has their own ideas, that fish can aspire to land, and that birds can learn to walk.
They are both aliens to their respective communities, both have similar troubles, and soon become friends.
Shaq and Fish Goo put their heads together and are ready to pair up and find a brand new place to live.
During the preparation stage, Shaq swallowed an odd coffin underwater. The coffin had a strange magical power that made it swallow before it could regain its big mouth.
After it came to its senses, it was made to suffer by the foreign object in its abdomen.
The fish goo used the traditional methods of various races, using a paste mixed with dung, herbs, and soil, trying to make Shak able to spit the thing out, and all of them failed.
Just then, God Yao shed light and the apostle Miss Isabel descended from the sky. Together with Fellows, the King of White Bones, she took out the King’s coffin and awakened the sleeping Apostle Lord Pinkman from within.
After following Pinkman, Shaq and Fishguy planted roses in the Rose Garden in the Valley of the Gods.
It was here that Shaq saw where Fish Goo’s true talent lay.
It was not afraid of dirt or pain, and always used its mouth and stomach to taste the flavours and effects of various plants and fruits.
Fish Goo always made a different paste from many rotting materials, dung, special soil, grass ash and fruits, and these pastes were the best flower fertilisers.
Several times Fish Goo was almost poisoned to death, but the well-prepared Lord Pinkman quickly resuscitated him.
The rapid prosperity of the rose garden could not have been achieved without the secret fertiliser made by Fish Goo behind it, as well as its weathered mouth and stomach.
Shak admired his best friend’s creativity.
Fish Goo was born to be an outstanding florist, and even if it wasn’t planting roses, cultivating other flowers and crops, or even breeding livestock, it would have definitely made a name for itself.
It was well known in the rose garden that Fishgu was obsessed with roses making Redleaf.
Redleaf, however, was focused on cultivating roses, and she had a quiet disposition, bent on bringing more Rose Envoys into being in order to recreate the grandeur of the Rose Kingdom back in the day.
When the man appears, however, Redleaf becomes passionate and quickly falls in love with the other man.
Fish Goo goes on a painful sabbatical.
As a result, when it returns from its long holiday, it encounters Redleaf and that man getting married in the Rose Garden again, and Lord Pinkman even blesses them as a witness.
Fish Goo’s wound is torn again.
It said to Shak, “I’m going to change my life somewhere else, away from here. When I see roses, I think of Red Leaf …… I’m going to go to the martial arts tournament to become a Sandwalker.”
As it turned out, Fishguy was eliminated in the first round and came back with a swollen nose.
“I will continue to participate, do you want to come along? I think you’re very strong and have the strength to take the championship.”
Fish Goo said with swollen eyes.
It wanted a heart that could break and recover quickly. Sandwalker could do it.
Sandwalker decided to put up a fight.
Originally it had been able to feel that there was a fuzzy voice inside of it that would lead into two directions. To the left was the growth of the mind, full of the unknown, and to the right was the extension of the sandworm’s body, embracing strength.
Shaq chose the latter.
The sandworm was a clumsy, simple creature in everyone’s eyes anyway.
Being a friend of the fish goo himself, he had to help it.
Shaq metamorphosed into the king of the sand.
……
In regards to Red Leaf, Fish Goo was sad for a while before recovering.
There were still many roses budding in the Valley of the Gods, and it wouldn’t be long before yellow, white and even black leaves appeared. The females of the rose make were graceful and endearing.
There were always young rose girls who would appear.
What struck Fish Goo was that he was unattractive.
That man named Shang Xun, although he was more handsome than himself and could speak well, he also improved the [Brass Furnace Dragon] and invented the [Fire Vapour Carriage] …… but if he was talented enough, he would have at least made Red Leaf hesitate a little in her choice.
But the first time Red Leaf saw him, he took the initiative to go up and talk to him, smiling and asking if he was hungry.
This gave Fishguy a shock.
It was completely different from the coldness with which he had treated himself.
It was as if the fish goo had woken up from a big dream.
It thought back for a moment, it seemed like he was good at nothing but pounding flower fertiliser – all of this also stemmed from his habit of wanting to eat two bites of everything. It was only after receiving the blessing of the Yao God that it was able to become a follower of Lord Pinkman.
Fish Goo was very envious of Shaq.
Unlike mediocre people like himself, Shaq was born with enormous size and strength. Shaq wasn’t stupid at all, it was smart, it was just that most of the time it chose to be silent.
It doesn’t like to lie.
The sandworms ostracised and feared Shaq because of this. They were both afraid and jealous of Shaq’s talents.
Unlike the fish people, who were completely oblivious.
It was the obliviousness that was more frustrating than the nervousness and worry.
The fish goo wanted to do something big out of it, to show everyone.
Right now, the most notable event of the Yao Clan was the Martial Arts Conference, which was held once every five years. It had failed once, but was not discouraged.
It had already failed too many times, so one more time was no big deal.
As in the past, the fish goo was still unconvinced on its lips.
“I will continue to participate.”
“I’ll definitely do it next time!”
When he learnt that Shaq was also going to participate in the Martial Arts Conference, Fish Goo was very excited.
“Good brothers, together together.”
“Last time I lost to the caveman monster Stone Little, it was the last champion, counting me barely as tied for second …… If it comes back this time, you help me take revenge and beat it up.”
Shaq said it tried its best.
Fishguy noticed that Shaq had gotten bigger. Its tough, coarse epidermis was darker in colour, and just gazing at it brought a pressure, exuding an aura that only the strong had.
This made Fish Goo very happy.
The excessively low-profile and introverted Shaq had finally begun to cash in on its talent!
The third Martial Arts Conference was held as scheduled.
On that day, Shaq suddenly said to the presiding Knowing Monk, “Lord Knowing Monk, I have an unfeeling request.”
“Please speak.”
“I think this convention could go a little faster.”
Shaq raised his massive head and looked at the other Transcendents, “All of you, come together.”
“I don’t want to waste time.”
The Knowing Monk asked the other participants for their opinions.
All of them present were strong people from various races, they simply couldn’t sit still when being provoked head on, each one of them shaking their fists, wanting to teach this big guy a lesson.
Fish Goo was startled and nervously said to Shaq next to him, “Just the two of us, how can we beat them, they have ……100 too many of them.”
“I’ll handle it, you help me observe first.”
Shaq rushed into the enemy lineup, like a tiger entering a flock of sheep, crushing various Transcendents along the way wherever it went. Its tough and strong epidermis resisted most of the damage, crushing and knocking the first opponents to charge head-on, and many of the contestants quickly lost their ability to fight.
Fish Goo hid in the corner and watched the battle.
It fished out pine nuts from its right pocket and ate them as it watched, getting more and more amused as it watched.
The more reserved powerhouses in the back finally couldn’t sit still, being crushed one for one was unacceptable to any cultivator who pushed the limits.
As the strongest of the Transcendents went down, Shaq gradually became overwhelmed.
Fish Goo could see it clearly.
Shaq was finally starting to get injured, his outer skin was being torn and broken, and the damage caused by various abilities was forming a patchwork of old and new wounds on its torso.
Everyone had realised at this point that this sandworm was truly capable of taking one for one. Every participant fought with all their might to take down this monster that challenged the dignity of the crowd ……
The last Transcendent lost his ability to fight and was declared disqualified by the Knowing Monk.
Shaq, who was covered in blood and covered in hideous wounds, turned around and slowly moved in front of the fish goo.
It said, “It’s just us.”
Fish Goo suddenly raised his hand, “Lord Knowing Monk! I concede defeat!”
Shaq froze.
Fish Goo grinned, “If you’re capable, you should show it… You were supposed to be the kind of guy who should be celebrated and remembered… Shaq, well fought. Congratulations!”
“And this.”
Fishman grabbed the pine nuts in his left pocket, “Saved it for you, I didn’t eat it alone.”
The big sand king and the little fish man looked at each other and smiled.
