The first direct competition between the Twin Cities occurred back in the era of the Fighting Beasts. This competition was a contest of city systems and routes to determine who was qualified to be the leader of the city.
The winner in the beginning was Yao City.
While Yao City was as stable as Mount Taishan, Salt City’s overly aggressive development strategy and internal conflicts led to the city being controlled by slave traders for a time, as well as being consumed by the golden period of the city’s development.
During the Fire Steam Era, which changed the perception of the Yao Clan, another frontal dialogue between Salt City and Yao City began.
This time the two sides went further, establishing two very different systems and forming an initial urban ideology.
Now they were proving that the system established by each was the most universal Yao value.
Lu Yao was not worried about a war breaking out as a result.
This was a world shrouded by gods.
The Twin Cities were like different cities in a country, with urban rivalry spreading across the economic, cultural, technological and talent fields, and the smaller the gap between the two sides, the more intense it became.
However, all these behaviours would be restrained within the framework set by the gods, with apostles sitting at the helm and prophets guiding the way, which had turned into a deep-rooted Yao tradition.
To play it safe, Lu Yao also recruited the apostles of the two cities and asked for their opinions.
The tyrant representing Yao City said, “Yao City has never been the undoubted number one city of the Yao Race and the centre of the entire world. We don’t really care what other cities are like, Yao City has always been the one to be chased and imitated. I don’t want to say that no city can come close to Yao City, but it’s the truth.”
The Blood Knight spoke directly, “Salt City, will win, Yao City, is old.”
It was only once the two Apostles spoke that the fighting mood of twin swords crossed surfaced on their heads.
Lu Yao had a bit of a headache.
Whenever twin cities were involved in a confrontation, it felt like a contagious disease. The citizens were at odds with each other, the Prophet and the Mayor saw each other as imaginary enemies, and even the Apostles were full of gunpowder.
“Yao City is old? Ridiculous.”
The tyrant mocked, “The development of a city requires knowledge inheritance and history accumulation, not a group made up of thuggish small businessmen, thinking that you can build a beacon of gold and silver just by piling up resources for a short period of time? Stupid.”
“Having money is better than having no money.”
The Blood Knight rarely verbally countered, “Slow development, ability, no.”
“I’ve put up with you for a long time! You armour monster!”
The tyrant was furious.
The Blood Knight simply said, “Anxious, anxious.”
The tyrant knelt in the direction of the screen, “My lord, I request that this insolent fellow be formally taught a lesson.”
The Blood Knight stood still: “It doesn’t matter, defeated general, just.”
The scene caused flames to rise above Tyrant’s head.
Lu Yao struck the two apostles with lightning a few times to help them calm down.
I asked you guys to come here to negotiate, you guys directly want to fight, it’s more or less a personal vendetta, and you’re not distinguishing between public and private.
During the two Apostles’ calming period, a new prompt popped up on the screen.

It’s not like Salt City doesn’t have its own allies, it’s even twice as many as Yao City in terms of numbers alone.
Unfortunately, excluding Crystal City, the remaining three are all poor buddies, and are basically considered stinky fish and shrimp compared to Uda City and Saniro.
Apart from Tree Crown City, both the Elf Village and the Channel Pier could only be considered small villages.

For places that were relatively backward, this was clearly a good opportunity to ride the wind.
