Moment has three kinds of miracles: decomposition, statistics, and evolutionary screening.
【Decomposition】: consumes 30 points of faith, decomposes a certain individual substance into more basic elements, multiple decompositions require consuming x times the number of faith of 30, if this target is a living creature, it is necessary to consume an additional number of faith of its current life value before.
【Statistics】: consumes 40 points of faith, through the collection, collation and analysis of quantitative information to study a large number of phenomena and deduce their essence and laws.
[Evolutionary Screening]: consumes 100 points of Faith to perform evolutionary simulation on the desired individual, and if that target is a living creature, consumes an additional number of Faith of its Inference Level x 100.
Of the three wonders, Decomposition was Moment’s only means of attack.
Moment was cast on the ground as requested by Lu Yao.
It hovered in the air and illuminated the bodies of the tricolour worms that had previously died on the rock salt, and soon, the dried worms turned into four small piles of debris.
“These are the four basic compounds that make up the tricolour worm, and with the addition of water, they make up the most basic tricolour worm carcass structure.”
To break it down further, says Moment, the faith consumption would rise exponentially.
Taking the tricolour worm as an example, the secondary decomposition overhead was 900 points, the third decomposition required 27,000 points, the fourth decomposition required 810,000 faith, and the fifth decomposition reached a terrifying 24.3 million.
The more one explored the essence, the more costly it became.
On the other hand, since the speed of the Moment reached a staggering 148 points, the Decomposition attack would make it difficult for the enemy to escape its attack range as long as it was unfolded.
What Lu Yao was most interested in was still the remaining two abilities, Statistics and Evolutionary Screening.
Especially Evolutionary Screening.
Moment demonstrated the effects of this miracle.
Chi selected a Y-shaped tricolour bug and cast a ray of light to wrap the tricolour bug, the light passed through the bug’s body and projected a blurred silhouette in the air behind it.
The airborne projection slowly twisted and slowly coalesced into a larger X-shaped bug.
The projection displayed [Tricolour Bug LV5].
“Based on the environment we are currently in, the Tricolour Bug has further evolved and possesses intelligence, it is the Unit Bug.”
Moment explained as he demonstrated, “Then, it’s further.”
The light continued.
The X-shaped bug form on the projection was still changing, slowly growing into a suave tic-tac-toe.
[Tricolour Worm LV10] was displayed above the well-shaped worm.
Evolution continues.
The evolution of the moment is projected step by step with 5 levels as a ladder.
This simple creature grows more limbs.
Moment says that because the tricolour worm itself is a lower class creature, physical memory is more effective and easier to carry over than mental memory. It recognises locations and expands its perceptions from its own body, so it further refines and extends its body.
After coming to LV20, the tricolour bug form produced a leap change.
The original body that was like a small octopus contracted and coalesced, and it grew a hard shell on its back, becoming like a small crab or a small scorpion, relying on the tiny limbs under its shell to move.
This reminded Lu Yao of an ancient creature on Earth: the horseshoe crab.
The evolutionary simulation gradually deepened.
The tricolour worm’s back shell continued to widen and its limbs became thicker, as if it was transforming into a predator.
But after coming to LV40, the tricolour worm made another 180 degree turn, as if it had undergone some kind of mutation.
Its appearance became like a different thing from before, possessing a columnar head followed by an extremely long and thin tail that looked like an electric wire with a plug.
Moment introduced, “Having evolved to this stage, the Tricolour Worm has initially grasped an ability with great potential o You please take a look.”
Lu Yao saw that the plug tricolour bug stretched its carapace, and the tails of the other tricolour bugs were connected to it vertically and horizontally, like a thread woven into a piece of cloth.
“This is bio-integration.”
The number 15 emanating from the top of Moment’s head lit up, indicating its inner pleasure.
“Bio-integration will allow all their information to be integrated into the next generation, and the Tricolour Bugs will complete the convergence and primitive accumulation of the information of the entire population’s civilisation through the constant transmission and integration of information.”
“Tricolour Worms are an excellent arithmetic population.”
Lu Yao came to be interested and asked Chi to use this one miracle to see how the various races of the Yao race were doing.
Moment led the order and hung high in the air.
The robe flew continuously around the world of the Yao Race, patiently searching and sifting.
The entire process lasted for about an hour, and Lu Yao was getting a little impatient waiting.
Moment finally stopped in the air.
“Pilot, I have carried out your orders. The numerical formulas of the active species on the surface of this world have been derived through [Vantage Counting] and analysed with [Statistics] collation ……”
“There are too many variables of life here, and the complexity of redundant information leads to calculation errors that are substantially beyond acceptable thresholds, with a large number of different results occurring for the same evolution. There is a lot of good life here, but none of it is quality arithmetic.”
Moment has a whole set of arithmetic processes.
[Vantage Counting] I [Statistics] I [Evolution Screening]
Regardless of the environment, rules or species, the answer given by Moment is that it is impossible to evolve due to the presence of too many variables one by one, and even if the evolution is simulated, the error will be large.
For the same reason, Moment was also unable to assess the entire Yao world.
Lu Yao again had the robe rush to the Cloud Temple.
The environment here had a single rule, which could eliminate many interferences, and the disadvantages of the Vortex World turned into advantages when it came to evolutionary screening instead.
In the city of sand, Moment’s highest evaluation was the Sand Rose.
“It’s a stable and controllable life, its [Counterattack] and [Sand Eating] are promising mechanisms, and if it can be paired with another species or two, it might be possible to build a regional algorithm.”
As for the mobile Ghosts, Uzis, Pixies, Songcrawlers, and even the alien Bamboo People, Rumin, and Funerary Clans, Moment’s assessment was the same.J.
“Comes with too many variables to be a competent arithmetic.”
Moment’s evaluation criteria was based on calculations.
Suddenly, the golden number 15 lit up above Moment’s head again, showing excitement.
“Excellent arithmetic!”
The robe flew deep into the sandy sea of the Cloud Temple and hung in the air, casting a curtain of light to hit the creatures on the sand.
On the ground was a group of small insects that were slowly making their way.
Lu Yao took a look, Shell C*ckroaches?
“Excellent group synergy, outstanding endurance, strong adaptation to environment and food …… This is a biological algorithm that can form a complement with the tricolour bugs, and can be used for computation immediately with only a little guidance.”
The light above Moment’s head kept lighting up, showing a kind of ecstasy.
Lu Yao understood.
To use a creature as an arithmetic, it was required that it possessed group sociality and a very strong instinctive tendency, and its own structure could not be too complex, these would form the basis of large-scale arithmetic.
To put it simply is not simple.
“Honourable Pilot, I ask for your permission, to transplant this species to the [Casting Sun Bay]. They are different from the Tricolour Worms, they can adapt to more extreme and harsh environments, and will form an outer layer algorithm, if the Tricolour Worms algorithm reports an error, they will be able to eat the unit that reported the error and give feedback”
Lu Yao said, take away take away, I’ll give you as much as you want.
Anyway, the shell c*ckroaches were only the initial test subjects, placed in the desert, now it was more like a group of scavengers.
Looking at the beautiful state of Moment sucking away most of the Shell C*ckroaches with light, and the head constantly lighting up, Lu Yao’s heart welled up with a wonderful feeling.
Life has its own way out.
It just depended on whether or not there was an opportunity, whether or not one could encounter opportunities and general environments that fitted this species within its limited life cycle.
What made the Yao race different from the Shell C*ckroaches was that they were able to transform their environment on their own, allowing external nature to suit them.
Moment brought the Shell C*ckroaches back to the Divine Kingdom and then began building the c*ckroach algorithms without a moment’s pause.
Lu Yao, on the other hand, began to set his sights on the far end.
Moment had fused the established [Casting Sun Bay] with the Divine Kingdom, but it was basically on the conch shell of this conch-type world. Moment did not interfere with the original ecology inside.
The geological structure of this conch-type world was special, divided into two spatial systems.
One was the regular geomorphology on the surface of the conch-type. The surface had diverse ground rows, broad plains, mountains and hills, rivers and forests, various terrain elements were more complete, and it was also the area that Moment mainly used for computing.
Lu Yao called this piece of space the Surface World, similar to the surface of the Yao Race World.
The other spatial system is the Li World, that is, the space inside the mouth of the screw, which is like a giant hole that spirals down inside, with very different environments at different levels.
The inside of the conch-type world was artificially hollowed out, with only the bottom-most area retained, so it was indeed like the shell of a conch.
The mouth of the conch in the inner world was haunted by a black mist, and under the mist lived a group of small people shaped like tin soldiers.
They had metal shells, and on top of their heads was a hat-like crystal that emitted a faint light, but not enough to illuminate their surroundings.
The crystal little men each held a hanging lamp to illuminate the area above their heads, and they moved cautiously through the black mist, the shelter of the light keeping the fog beasts at bay. They kept looking for those few materials on the ground, and sometimes found the bodies of their own kind.
The Light Clan.
Seeing these little people, Lu Yao was not too surprised.
He initially had a speculation that the [Fog Harbour] where the Lamp Clan survived might not be too far away from the Vortex World.
Otherwise, it would be difficult for the small number of ghosts of the Lamp Clan to pass through the distant Cloud Temple.
The Fog Harbour at the topmost level of Cast Sun Bay was essentially a huge mountain of artificially created rubbish, where all sorts of discarded materials were piled up.
The sheer amount of rubbish completely blocked the mouth of the conch, while the fringes of the area were tall mountain walls bulging upwards, with fog beasts eyeing them from above.
The Fog Harbour was like a bottle cap with the bottom facing upwards, with all the Lanterns living inside the cap, and the top being shrouded by a thick, stretching black fog, keeping them in a constant state of fear and unease.
Lu Yao looked through the backstage of Cast Sun Bay and found that there were only 2,021 people in the Lamp Clan today, which also included a portion of the sleeping people who hadn’t been lit up.
In a shimmering mass of light under the black mist, a single Lamp Race villain was busy repairing the hanging lamps and filling them with fuel. However, they wouldn’t know that the eerie mist that lingered overhead, as well as the beasts in the mist, were nothing more than the beast pens that the Firefly God had specially created for them.
The purpose was for the Lamp Clan to keep making lamps, creating heavenly lanterns, and even creating that precious high imitation sun [Corona of Light], and then selling these lamp products along with the lamp villain.
Lu Yao clicked the mouse to erase this black fog.
Fog Harbour’s long history of darkness drew to a close, and the light that should have existed was ushered in here.
The Lamp Clan villains who were originally labouring hurriedly, one by one, tilted their heads up and looked towards the sun in the clouds above their heads.
“The black fog is gone? It’s dispersed …… dispersed!”
“Oh my god, oh my god, our sun is back, it’s still there!”
“The fog beast is gone? It’s so bright, is that the sun? So beautiful am I dreaming?”
“So the fog harbour is so small …… material.”
The little people of the Light Clan put down their tools in their hands and raised their crystal-wearing heads to look at the sun for a long time. Even so, they still one by one grasped the hanging lamps in their hands, fearing that the darkness would descend again.
At this time, Isabel rode her wand and landed from the air, announcing to all the lamp clans, “The great Lord Yao God has unchained you, the dark age is over, you are free.”
One by one, the Lamp Clan villains looked at each other in disbelief.
“What is freedom?”
“Is the new Lord God abandoning the Light Race? Please don’t abandon us!”
“Divine Lord, we are very useful, we are lamp makers, we make all sorts of hanging lamps …… Not long ago there was also a giant craftsman who made heavenly lamps.”
“Please believe us, we work, we work, we never stop labouring.”
The Lantern Clan showed more uneasiness, confusion and trepidation about the end of the established traditional order.
Lu Yao frowned as he watched.
This boy, the Firefly God, had really black hands, completely using the Lantern Clan as blindfolded livestock.
