“Marshal Sand!”
Catgrass returned to human form and stood.
“Oh? It’s Captain Catgrass, why have you left your precinct?”
The Sand Marshal turned around, “You need to give me an explanation.”
It asked, “What happened? Did the Blood Lake flood, or did the Blood Ancestors launch a massive attack on the Resident Brigade?”
Catgrass said, “In the area of the Cat’s Claw Forest in my precinct, a suspected god’s will appeared on the Blood Lake, and that force crushed the Daylight Tide.”

Catgrass said stiffly, “A clan of war cats, Catgrass, I don’t believe in gods! None of the war cats believe in God, God has never given us a boost, we only believe in ourselves!”

A smile appeared on the ice troll’s head, “This place looks desolate, and the food doesn’t look like there’s much of it, without the shelter and help of the gods, you guys must have had a hard time living entirely on your own. Terrific.”
