The [Flayer’s Curse] contamination strategy was a success. However, it would take more time to completely finish the blood knight’s best*alisation ritual.
The good news was that Isabelle had mastered the method of dealing with insane Blood Knights and was becoming more and more comfortable.
Unfortunately, the [Evil Bone Whistle] was still ineffective against the Blood Knight, and could only slightly hinder his movements, but could not control his behaviour.
Isabelle was still working on it.
Just as Lu Yao was focusing on the Blood Knight Raiders, a series of changes occurred in the recently obscure Garlic Tribe.
With the hard work of all the villains farming, the Garlic Tribe’s population had reached over 600 people.
Unfortunately, the two leaders of the tribe, the Prophet and the Shaman had died quietly.
Their names are also engraved on the monument.
“Nonglai: the tribe’s first prophet. He was an eternally loyal follower of Yao God and a bridge between the gods and the tribe. He led the tribe to overcome natural disasters and starvation and survived the toughest of times, his name will be remembered by all.”
“Hunting Kura: The tribe’s first shaman. He brought the knowledge and bravery of the Forest Tribe into the Garlic Tribe. He was a wise forerunner, a guide of wisdom, and he helped the tribe learn techniques they had never known before.”
The bodies of the prophet and the shaman were buried in the forest, and the ghosts were received by the local god of death, Scout, in Sanilo to start a whole new chapter of life.
The leader of the Garlic Tribe becomes the hero Fishing Away.
He was also an old man with grey hair by now. No longer leading the hunters around on hunts and patrols, Fishwalk began to rely on his experience and prestige to lead the tribe onward.
The life of the Pixel Villain was very short in Lu Yao’s eyes.
However, Lu Yao was still a bit despondent as he watched these villains, who had once prayed to him and marvelled, praised, disturbed and revered him, step into death just like that without any warning.
After becoming the leader, Fishwalker made a simple adjustment to the Garlic Tribe.
Firstly, Fishwalk invited the astrologer Shahan to govern the tribe together, and Shahan agreed.
The division of labour between the two was similar to that of the prophets and shamans of the previous generation.
The astrologer was responsible for the tribe’s belief in the gods, praying and finding sacrifices in the temple for divine guidance.
The practical man, Fishwalker, began to lead the reforms of the tribe.
He began by clearing out the trees on the outskirts of the forest and converting them into farmland so that the tribe could have more land to grow food. Ensuring that the Garlic Tribe’s food reserves continued to grow.
On the other hand, he took the tribe’s small people and together they rebuilt the dock with a large amount of stone and wood, and built several tall barns around it.
Fishwalker led the tribe in cutting wood and building a canoe. The people boarded the canoe and began to explore further along the East River in all directions.
The East River was fast and wide, and often the canoes were swallowed by whirlpools or wrecked when they hit rocks. Vigorous exploration of the river cost the Garlic Tribe population dozens of people, an unprecedented attrition.
The tribe’s villainy was so disturbed that some even expressed doubts about fishing away.
“If it was the Prophet, never would so many people have died.”
“The shaman is still alive, surely he wouldn’t do this.”
“Lord Fishing Walk is getting old.”
“Heroes get old too, the tribe will be finished if it continues like this.”
“It’s still safest to farm, the water is too dangerous, the East River Tribe would have a hard time surviving without a sea monster. It’s even more impossible for us.”
In the face of all sorts of questions and pressure, Fishing Walk stuck to his course.
At this time, Shahan also strongly supported Fishing Walk, “We must go out. The gods have already given us enough guidance. This is the will of the gods!”
Fishwalk told the people, “We have plenty of food, which gives us the strength to officially set foot in the river.”
“The river is not only full of fish, but it is also a natural path that can lead in all directions along the river.”
“The river is a huge camel that doesn’t strain and can take us anywhere.”
“We have to be the tribe that goes out, we can’t sit here and wait until the other tribes find us.”
“Have you forgotten that fiasco with the cave monsters? That’s what happens when you stop moving forward.”
Lu Yao’s God’s perspective saw it clearly.
The death of the head hunter in the beginning had been affecting Fishing Walk to this day.
Even though he had turned into an old man, Fishwalk was still surrounded by that kind of uneasiness and trepidation. He always had a sense of urgency, as if there were invisible monsters that could attack the Garlic Tribe at any time.
This sense of urgency was something the Garlic Tribe had never had before.
Lu Yao appreciated this very much.
Live in peace and think of danger.
There was no progress without fear.
Having an imaginary enemy would give the Garlic Tribe more motivation and cohesion to move forward.
However, the other side of the East River was not populated, there was only a large expanse of desolate land, rock-strewn heights, and some messy shallow talks.
The canoes were like ants, coming and going in the river, looking around, going forward and back.
Lu Yao was about to go downstairs to get takeout when a prompt popped up from the screen, pulling him back.
[Astrologer Shahan wrote the first sheepskin book, A Brief History of the Tribes.]
[The Garlic Tribe learnt to write.]
[The Fishing Company built the first paddle-sailer.]
[The Garlic Tribe invented paddleboats.]
[The Garlic Tribe learned to make and use paddleboats, and their faith was uplifted.]
–Great God, there is a believer who has performed a feat far beyond his peers, need to convert him into a hero?
[Yes] [No]
Lu Yao took a look.
There was an additional villain in the temple wearing a short wool coat, with the name on his head being none other than Fishing Company, just 16 years old.
A question mark surfaced on Yu Lian’s head, and in the box next to it was what was going on in his mind.
“It is said that only those who have been recognised by the gods can receive revelations and actually enter the temple. Does this count as me being recognised?”
“But I didn’t bring a sacrifice, if the gods get angry …… I shouldn’t be electrocuted by lightning ……”
“Ai, I’m just a shipbuilder, I know absolutely nothing about the gods.”
“I hope the gods won t blame.”
Lu Yao could clearly feel it now. As the tribe’s civilisation progressed, the minds of the pixelated little people became more and more active.
The teenage fishing company had built paddle sailing boats.
It was also evident from his surname that he was a fisherman. It was also considered a professional counterpart.
Lu Yao clicked [Yes], and Yu Lian immediately had his own panel and stand-up drawing.
In the detailed personal panel, Fishing Company was a teenager standing by the water. He was barefoot, wearing a simple wool short jacket, and his eyes were gazing at the fish in the water in the distance, as if he was thinking about how to catch the fish on shore.
Under the stand-up, there is a passage in which he says.
–The boat is a man’s shoe, and we must have more and better shoes to go farther in the water.

Lu Yao looked a little pleased.
Shipbuilding Art and Wisdom were both very practical and excellent abilities.
It was also due to the ability of Shipbuilding that Fisherman Lian was able to invent the Oar Sailboat, and he had pushed the tribe’s shipbuilding skills forward by himself.
Moreover, Yu Lian was only 16 years old, his future was unlimited.
The Garlic Tribe had been established for so many years and had prospered for several generations, so it had finally drawn a good card!
